So you started in 2008.

How did you get started?

Yeah, I'd been working in an office and,
you know, finished in a relationship

and was looking for something more
interesting to do. And I was just

with a guy and he played a porno movie.

So he was getting carried away with the
movie and I was getting carried away

visualized yourself in it? Because

the next big step has got to be America.

So I got myself over here and started
living here in 2010 and making movies.

So it was great. I got to shoot with all
the big companies, all the big

production companies, you know, all of
the ones that were out at that time.

Yeah. Like Reality Kings, Naughty
America, Brazzers. Yeah. Which are also

around. Yeah. It's just, it's different
though.

Some of them have gone, you know, I shot
for like Wicked and Vivid.

And there are others, you know, they
kind of like, some of them kind of

disappeared and some of them merged and
some of them got bought.

i started directing for a company called
philly films um and we we made i made a

like a woman has a baby and everything

it's fabulous and it's shocking and it's

scary and it's amazing. There's so many

But once you have a baby and the baby's
out and you're like, oh.

oh what am i gonna do with this body
yeah i didn't feel camera ready um and

it took some time you know to build back
up and build my confidence and get

myself back in shape but that was at the
time that only fans was like really

know so i'm like okay i'll do solo like

And I basically went around Ireland with
a camper van and a film crew and a

motorbike. And I invited all these Irish
lads and they come in, you know, make

me camper van rock.

And it was great.

And then the Irish newspapers were on

there. And then I'm alone. He went, I

You know, I think the only time really
in person is when I've had weird people

at conventions and there's been a couple
of.

weird people that kind of keep coming
back and saying stuff to you. And I've

to say to the security, that guy needs
to go.

Would this be at like adult conventions
or any conventions? Yeah, adult

conventions. Yeah. Okay. Like sometimes
it's like, you know, I've had one, he

was a little bit on edge and he kept
saying the same thing and being a little

bit passive aggressive.

Okay. And I was just like, ah, no.

Yeah. You need to go.

Well, because I know, did you go to AVN
this year?

Yes, I did. Yeah.

So I remember when I looked at this long
list of rules.

You can't linger.

You can't stare.

It was a lot of rules for the guys that
I assume mainly would be towards certain

types of fans.

It felt like it boiled down to don't do
anything that's going to make models

uncomfortable or feel unsafe.

And, I mean, there was a lot of security
around there. Yeah, no, it's good.

Yeah, it's good. And I'm sure that, you
know, because safety is the number, you

know, it has to be the number one
consideration, especially in places like

Yeah. Do you know, I've been to a lot of
conventions. I used to do a lot of the

Exotica shows.

I did the Adult Con in L .A. I think
that was.

Probably where that one guy that I'm
thinking of kept coming back. I went to

of those like in 2008 actually. I don't
know if they still have them. No, they

stopped. Okay. That adult con was – the
guys were getting – a little bit too

much. Really? Yeah, it was very hands
-on. And I can remember it was like, you

know, they had rules and you can't be
nude.

And I would stand there and, you know,
I'm in a dress. It's like, you know,

a nice dress. And I'd stand there and
the guys would come and have the picture

taken with me. And then across the other
side, there was girls. I don't know who

they were. They weren't like adult stars
as such. They were girls. I don't know.

Maybe they could have been webcam girls
or, you know.

And private photographers could hide
them. I don't know what they were. Yeah,

promo models or something.

Yeah, whatever.

It's fine.

Except they had like a one -piece string
bikini on and they kept bending over.

And all I could see was asshole.

And I was like.

How am I supposed to make money over
here, whereas I'm like all 99, I'm the

star, and then there you are over there
like... Showing everything.

And just like, oh, and I'm like, huh,
and the guys are just like... I feel

a proctologist in my office looking deep
into the... Yeah, and the guys are just

like, taking all the cameras, and so
then by the time they got to me, they're

like, oh, she must be, oh, and I'm just
like, get your hands off.

Yeah. It got to that. And I don't know
whether it was just that convention or

whether – I don't know. It was a bit
weird.

You know, they really did. But I've done
a lot of the other conventions. You

know, the Exotica, I've done a lot of
the Exotica conventions. The fans were

very, very respectful there.

And also AVN, like you say, there's a
lot of security.

Maybe that's what they were lacking.

I don't know.

Probably lacking security.

And I was also going to say that there's
an element now of, you know, that

social media going viral is something
that can.

blow something up for good or bad.

So if there was an instance where
somebody was doing something

and somebody else was videoing it and
then they post it, then that person

have a lot of repercussions coming their
way. Yeah, exactly.

So maybe people are going to be a lot
more careful now because they don't want

I mean hopefully it is more a genuine
they want to be more respectful instead

just wanting to cover their asses so
that they don't get in trouble. Don't

to get caught. Yeah, they don't want to
get caught because – But – and I think

also with what happened to like someone
like Ron Jeremy where

he – He's just come straight to my mind
even before you were saying it. And he

was a performer. He wasn't just – he
wasn't a fan. He was like an industry

legend. He was somebody who like I'm
sure at one point – I'm sure at the time

when you started, he was probably still
a very revered – figure in the industry

like ron jeremy um it was so funny
because you know i got to see ron jeremy

from you know the very beginning and
there was some there's also an award

called night moves um yeah and i've been
to them a few times they're lovely

people um and you know it's fun to go to
the shows, and, you know, I've won some

awards from them.

It's great.

And Ron Jeremy, I kid you not, Ron
Jeremy's hosting the award show, and he

sponsored at the time by Hot Movies, and
so he had, like, the black T -shirt on

with Hot Movies on, and he had, like,
the shell suit pants and the crocs.

Well, because it was, like, in a club
where it had, like, day -glow lights, so

it just, like, glowed all this white
stuff all over his... Like, shell suit

pants. And I remember thinking, oh, my
God, you're hosting the award show, and

your pants, they just look like it was
full of cum stains. I'll be honest with

you. Yeah. Right?

And he'd come up to me at conventions,
and he'd be like, let's go and fuck

behind, like, that curtain. Like, he
would literally say it. And so, like,

security guard would be standing. I'd be
like, you've got to ask him. Yeah. And

he's like, who? And I go, that big
security guard there.

And he'd be like, oh.

And then he'd walk off, and then he'd
say the same thing every single time.

So I was like, oh, my God.

I never wanted to do a scene with him.

Was he still even performing that much
back then? I don't know whether he was.

It didn't matter because he was trying.

But I always felt like he needed a wash.

Okay. Right? He had really greasy lank
hair, and I'd seen his clothes full of

stains. So I was just like.

I don't know. I did not ever find him
sexually attractive yet. I would see him

with girls, these young girls, and I can
remember my friends, and she's like,

oh, yeah, such and such.

Like, you'd hear these stories from,
like, civilians, like, oh, and she was

a boyfriend, and then she sucked his
cock, and I was like, oh, my God.

And so this civilian girl was, like,
revering how amazing he was, and I was

like, oh, my God.

Like, you know, if I do a scene with
someone, I make sure they're clean. I

sure they've had a shower. Even if
you're not maybe physically attracted to

them, at least be groomed. Yeah, this
hygiene, this hygiene.

The hygiene, that was the first block
that

I was never going to work with him.
Yeah. Like, it just, there was just a

of. You need a good wash. And of course,
I didn't realize actually what was

going on that, you know, what he was
like with me. You know, I was a strong,

powerful woman that said, you know, I
could easily say no and make him move

But, you know, unbeknown to me was
actually doing that to a lot of people.

And because he was who he was, he was
getting away with whatever he was,

whatever he was getting away with, with
people that he should not have been

doing things with. Yeah. You know?

And there is a court case, so we're not
talking out of turn.

Yeah, it's all there. It's all there. I
just feel like when he got basically

when everything came to light with his
behavior over the years, I feel like

really created a shift.

And because he might have been the prime
example of somebody

who.

felt like they could do whatever they
want in these environments.

Yeah. And I mean, let's put it in the
real world.

He's in porn and he was doing sexual
things and he was getting away with it.

And he was in like a position of power
or being revered. Now, it happens in

other industries.

Yeah, yeah. You know, and people, like I
have to say this about the porn

industry, like people are like, oh,
things are so bad.

This happens in all different
industries.

We saw that a few years ago.

Anybody who has power, and this can be
men or women, people in power will

potentially abuse it because they can.
Because power, I think, is a very

addictive feeling, knowing that you have
the ability to make somebody else

do something.

And it's unfortunate that that's...

That so many people can't reign that in
and just understand like don't abuse

this. Don't abuse your position.

But yeah, this idea that – I mean porn
obviously has always been

kind of –

Because it's probably an easy thing for
people to look at and judge and say this

is bad. This is wrong.

These people are bad because they do
something that I am morally against even

though they probably still watch some of
it. They still watch it.

But it's a great contradiction.

It's one of the most successful
industries yet one of the most attacked

industries. Yeah.

So to me almost – I feel like it's the
one industry that gets attacked mainly

out of probably self -guilt.

And shame by people being like, I enjoy
this and I hate myself because I enjoy

this. So I have to attack it. I think,
you know, having sex with partners where

it's all consensual, it's okay.

And to self -pleasure, to masturbate,
that's also okay. And I think a lot of

people have been told it's not okay, you
know, and they're given this.

You shouldn't be doing that. You
shouldn't be pleasuring yourself when

most natural thing in the world to do.

And then these same people, they're so
against the porn.

In secret, they're doing it. And you
know what it's like. If you tell

don't do it, don't do it, don't do it,
all they're going to do is, oh, I better

go and do it and see what it's about.

And then they're doing it hidden.
They're doing it underground.

They're doing it away from you. So the
way that the industry is set up, it's

consensual. It's all online. We're
getting paid. We're doing releases.

I treat it as professional business.

And people, they try and put it all
under the same umbrella. Oh, sex,

trafficking.

Well, it's like I'm a professional
woman. I'm a mother.

I'm a career -minded person, and I make
my own money. I pay my taxes.

I live in California. I pay a lot of
taxes. Yeah, you pay a lot of it, yeah.

But I pay them all.

It's a business.

It's part of the economy.

And people just, they pretend. They just
try and brush it under the carpet.

But, you know. Yeah.

And I'm talking about people of adult
age. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. No, no,

I always like to make sure.

Yes. Well, you know,

because also, you know, we're one of
only, I think, two species on Earth that

has sex for pleasure.

I think it's us and dolphins.

Dolphins. They have sex just for fun,
not just for the sake of… Reproduction.

Reproduction, yeah.

So the idea that… And there's always
going to be a battle. There's always

to be the battle of pro -sex people for
basically having – for the sake of

having fun with it versus the people
that think it should mainly be for

procreation although it can be for fun
or it should be a marriage. There's

always going to be that battle of those
two sides. Yeah, that's very true. And

which – and I think because obviously
porn is the ultimate example of

fun sex.

I think for the most part because it's
ultimate fantasy.

It's not – I mean there are more
realistic stuff. That's why amateur

be so popular with people because it
looks real as opposed to studio work,

is – there's more – it's more
glamorized.

But, yeah, and, man,

In your opinion, what is the biggest
difference between when you started and

now? I think owning your own content and
being your own boss and making your own

schedule and not having to rely on an
agent or a studio to make you your

I think that's the biggest difference.
Yeah. You're business owners now. Yeah.

Small business owners. It's not even –
like that's the thing. I mean studios

have obviously been hit but like
management companies, agencies, I mean

still exist but they're not as
necessary.

Yeah, exactly.

In a lot of ways. I had an agent and my
agent was – Derek Hay of LA Direct

Models. Armour, yeah.

Yeah, the one that's been getting
prosecuted by the California Labor

wow. That same guy.

Yeah, he was my agent for a short time
until we parted ways.

But yeah, you know, with him, like...

He would dictate what you did.

And I remember one day I said, I do not
want to take that scene. I'm not

accepting the scene.

And I did a scene where I got tied off
and something put over my head. And this

guy was very weird. And he was saying
all stuff to me. I'm going to keep you

tied up and take you to my trailer in
the Mohovi Desert.

And he kept, like, touching me. And I
was just like, oh, my God, this is not

nice. Wow. So I did this scene.

And he was a very nice man.

Did not like it. So I, you know, scene
was done. I'm like, okay, tried it, been

there, done that, not going to do it
again. Yeah. Then I get to another scene

where I'm going to get tied up and I'm
like, it wasn't fun. Yeah, yeah.

And I argued for like about three days
with the agent to the point where I was

like, because he wouldn't listen.

Yeah. He would bully women to try and
get what he wanted.

And to the point where I'm screaming at
him now, I am not doing the job.

And he went, right, Tanya, I'm going to
fine you $100.

So he took $100 out of my paycheck
because I wouldn't do a job. Wow. But he

would have just given it to someone
else, another girl to do it. Yeah. I

available for that scene.

So those days for me are well and truly
gone.

Yeah, yeah. I don't even think that you
could, I mean, an agency, an agent.

A studio couldn't really get away with
that. Yeah. No, an agent is there to

for you, to get you jobs. Yeah. And you
say what comes and what goes and, you

know, what your limits are. And that was
pushing my limits.

So to this day, I will only do what I
want to do. Yeah. And you can.

And I can.

And, you know, I saved, you know, I
stopped Boy Girl back in 2013.

And, you know, back then you would do
this and then you kind of progressed to

that and you progressed to this. Yeah.
There was stepping stones. Yeah. There

were levels. Yeah. Kind of like right
now, there's not – the stepping stones

aren't quite as big.

It's more going full on into it. But
back then, it was stepping stones.

And one of the things that I never did

Then I got pregnant and, you know, this
is years later.

You know, they went really big. I don't
know how big they went because I didn't

have a proper bra. It was all nursing
bras.

Yeah. And then, you know, I got my body
back. Everything went back into place.

But the boobs, they'd kind of gone
lower.

And I had implants that were like
teardrop shape. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And

the teardrops had slightly shifted.

Okay. So one of the nipples. Looked
sadder?

What's that?

They looked sadder?

A sadder teardrop?

Yeah. Yeah, well, the nipple was
slightly pointing.

Okay, in a different direction. Yeah, it
wasn't quite how they were before

pregnancy. Okay.

And I couldn't wear a bra.

I was in nursing bras and I wasn't
nursing.

But because they'd gone so low and they
were on the ribcage, so when I put the

bra on, it's like digging into the
ribcage because it was so low and they

I was like, oh, my God, I'm going to
have to go and get them redone. Oh,

So they were on top of the muscle.

So anyway, I went back and I had them
redone and he took them out and he put a

new pair under the muscle.

So because the muscle is tighter, they
look smaller.

Oh, okay. So I had a lot of guys at that
time, they were complaining to me, oh,

your boobs have gone smaller because I
had to have an uplift.

And they were very disrespectful.

And I'm like, well, you know what?

I wanted to get them done. Yeah. Like I
have my reasons. Yeah.

But you didn't have to explain to them.
No, no, no, no. But, like, I just told

all you lot my reasons. Yeah, yeah,
yeah.

But, yeah, because I wanted them done.

And so, you know, a few couple of months
ago, I went back.

So when he did them, he put, they took
out 500 cc's and put

in 485 cc's. Okay. So the size was
almost the same, except because they

under. They were constricted. So, he
took out, I had the surgery again, he

out 485s and put in 650.

Okay. So, I've got 650 C's in right now.
Okay. But they're under the muscle.

So, they still.

It's okay. Yeah. So, the implant is
bigger than before, but they're more

toned, they're more upright, you know.

So, yeah, so that's what it was, 650 cc.
Well, then that answers some – I'm sure

some people had some questions about
that and why it looked a little

Yeah. So – but what's interesting to me
though is because obviously I've had
