the force trailing us.

the mine's right below it.

be a small fortune there.

LaRoque will know by now

that he's been sent on a wild goose chase,

and nothing will stop him.

(horse neighing)

- It is not here.

We have been tricked.

We go back to the cabin.

- [Benoit] They are gone, Jules.

- Maybe we find them on the creek, huh?

- Look, by gosh, there they go.

(dramatic music)

(gunshots booming)

- [Rod] Keep going, Wabi.

I'll drop back and slow 'em down.

- Look!

- We've got to stop him.

The falls are just below there.

- [Rod] He's badly wounded, Wabi.

We've got to get him
back to Wobinosh House.

- Three times they fool us, but no more.

You bring all the men here.

This time we will fool them.

We will attack Wobinosh House
for the gold and the furs.

- They will find the
ammunition is all gone.

(laughing)

- [Mr. Newsome] Old Mekoki.

Well, Mekoki, what'd you find out?

- 20 or 30 men hold pow-wow at LaRoque's.

- Hmm, they probably intend to attack.

detachment at Fort Nipagon.

out as long as you can.

LaRoque and his gang are
attacking Wobinosh House.

man in the settlement.

- Well, Ryan, we're ready
to go back anytime you are.

- That won't be necessary.

The sergeant just told me

that the man that Wabi had the fight with

didn't die after all.

And when he recovered consciousness,

he exonerated Wabi of the shooting.

- [Mounty] You boys are free.

(dramatic music)
