Hoyt Carroll was charged with filing a
false police report, a misdemeanor. He

was sentenced to three months of
community service.

John Lowman was charged with seven
counts of murder in the first degree.

jury of his peers found him guilty on
all counts, he was sentenced to die by

lethal injection.

His lawyers are appealing the verdict.
