There's nothing left of it.

Right now I'm in a lot of pain

and I'm in a lot of discomfort.

another surgery, you're saying?

When I was 69, I can vividly

remember me thinking to myself,

I'm 69 and I
don't feel that bad.

Soon as I turned 70,
the fucking trap doors opened.

I can't walk very far
without getting out of breath.

I used to work out all the
time and I can't do it now.

I used to do an hour
on an elliptical every day.

Ozzy's Parkinson is
what they call PRKN2,

and it's something that actually

comes on very, very young,

but it's so slight,
you don't notice.

But after his spinal accident,
it kind of brought it on.

Ozzy got up in the middle of

the night to go to the bathroom,

and coming back,
he tripped and just...

hit the floor so hard.

(sombre music)

I instinctively knew
I'd done some damage.

And I lay on the floor and I...

"Sharon, get an ambulance,
I think I broke my neck."

Say that's your spine and

you've got fluid here and here,

and it protects the spine.

And there was no fluid
at one point of his spine,

and so he had to have surgery
to try and open up his spine

so there would be fluid,

'cause you could
become a paraplegic.

It knocks the crap out of you,

and you've just got to keep
going because it's like...

it's like I've got to start

everything from
the word go again.

The best possible
outcome is that I'm fit

enough and strong
enough to do shows.

The worst possible outcome
is I can't do shows.

(crowd cheering)

When I'm performing, I have a

job to get them
kids going crazy,

and that's what I like to do.

(rock music continues)

It's the only thing
that I've ever done

that's made me feel
a bit important, you know.

When I was in school, I

couldn't concentrate, you know.

I'm dyslexic.

I'm a poor reader.

And it was just frustrating
for me as a kid.

If my father hadn't
gone into debt

to get me a microphone and a PA,

I wouldn't be here.

And my father had
an indoor toilet built.

He loved a task.

And he'd come home
with his potions from work

and put the fucking
thing on the wall,

put the tiles on there,

and it would fall off again,

and he would come
home with another thing.

But in the end, it worked.

He was...he was...

He was determined to fix...

That's where I get my
determination from, I think.

I always, always told Ozzy

when you're 70, we say goodbye.

He was 70 when we announced
the Farewell Tour.

He started it and
couldn't finish it.

And I thought,

I just love what a lake does.

I love looking at the water,
and it brings in animals.

We've always referred
to this as 'home'.

We just thought
that it would be for

about five years and
then we'd come back.

That's why we never,
ever sold the house.

This was Kelly's room.

change it. I just can't do it.

It's all cracking and

everything. I've
got to get it fixed.

I'm gonna be one of

that I'll come up here and it'll

still be the same in ten years.

When I look out of the window, I

just go back to when
the kids were little

and they used to camp outside
there and, you know,

do fires in the
evening with their dad.

And Jack and his dad
would dress up as soldiers,

go marching into the forest,

and all of that comes back.

before you had that surgery
you were agreeing to do it.

It took me eight weeks
to get over the surgery.

I just thought, "I ain't gonna
be able to make this."

I'm just very
disappointed cause I really

would have liked to
have done that gig.

When the timing is right,
it's gonna happen,

but this is not the
right timing. That's it.

frame of mind these days.

Saturday, we came back

and we just slept non-stop
throughout a day and a half.

a clear conscience.

The emotion and
love for Black Sabbath

and Ozzy has been
really overwhelming.

He had a dream and
that dream came true.

And I think that people
relate to that very much.

It's our last chapter.
