And b., we are able to go and locate some of these items.

So I got to drop this map off as soon as possible.

And decipher those symbols as the gallinas peak,
This tells me that we're on a trail

As to the general vicinity of the hidden cave.

And they came across a crash site.

He ran a couple of tests on it,
And it couldn't be cut by torch, couldn't be burnt,
Couldn't be cut by hacksaw or clippers or anything.
But you could take it in your hands,
Crumble it up like tin foil, and open your hand up,
And it would pop out to its original shape.

Man: Well, sandy proctor and dan were friends at the time,
But when the government came in,
They said it was a weather balloon,
But, I'm sorry, weather balloons can be cut
And torched and what have you.

Launched a top-secret project called operation mogul,
Which involved microphones flown on high-altitude balloons
Used to detect sound waves
Generated by soviet atomic bomb tests.
In 1994, after public pressure
To resolve the controversy behind the roswell incident,
The government released declassified documents
And claimed the remnants of the crash
Belonged to one of these balloons.

He took these pieces of metal and hid it away

You could get caught up in the investigation
And totally forget that this stuff could be contaminated

That, or it could be another opening to the same cavern.

That could potentially be connected
To a series of underground caves.
Dan: Yeah, it opens up to the right.
So, you think it goes this way?

And are formed by the deposition of minerals
Left from seeping groundwater.

It'll just take you down to where it starts to curve.

Over 70 years ago, something happened
Just on the other side of the hill a few miles back
That changed this part of the world.
Debris was scattered everywhere,
And this area is the exact place
Where someone could've found debris and hid it in a cave.
And this could be the cave.
This is exactly what we were looking for -- exactly.

That debris was hidden in caves.
