The highlights of the first race of the

weekend saw a really challenging event,

particularly as the two teammates making

contact down into turns one and too and

Chloe Chambers then battling away with

Dorian Pan and damage to the front wing

certainly hurt her and it meant that she

wasn't able to fend off Dorian Pan.

There were other incidents as well,

people making mistakes. For example, it

was a bit of a shame for Matilda Patz

who hit the wall to Joan Shikante also

out. But Dorian Pan took that victory

and that is her third win of the season

to take the lead in the championship and

by quite a margin 24 points her lead now

over Maya Ver. My verge has been the

unlucky one and we'll talk about her in

just a moment. But the second race of

the F1 F1 Academy in Montreal in Canada

is all set to get underway. Dry

conditions is looking good around the

2.7 m 4.3 km 14 turn track. And this is

also going to be another unpredictable

race because remember we've got the

fastest top eight qualifiers positioned

in reverse order. That means that Khloe

Chong is on pole position. Even though

she got taken out in the race in the

first race earlier on today, Khloe Chong

will be on pole. Alice Powell is

alongside me, Ben Edwards. Alice, as an

experienced racer yourself, we've seen

that none of the pole sitters have taken

a win so far this year in F1 Academy.

So, it's going to be really tough there

for Khloe Chong starting from pole to

try and hold on to that. It certainly

is, but she had great pace in the race

earlier on. We we obviously just saw in

the highlights package there that she

was uh very unlucky with Raphaela Ferrer

uh unsafe rejoin rejoin who actually got

a five place grid penalty for this race

but Nina Gman who's starting in P2 also

looks strong and actually just looking

at this front few rows any one of these

drivers could win this race. Absolutely

I agree with that because it could come

from almost anywhere but we shall see

how it goes. Well, there was some later

news as well. Alicia Palmoski in that

incident that she had with Ko Chambers

did get a penalty in the end. So, it was

uh dropped down the order did not score

points as a result. Let's take a look at

the grid then for this second race. Nicl

Ha and Eva Anagnostiardis are on the

back row of the grid even though they

managed to uh do get some points in that

first race. Courtney Cron in 16th. Maya

Verg who was the championship leader

coming into this, she's down in 15th

place. Raphaela Ferrer 14th. Matild

Depatz, who's the wild card entry, she

is in 13th. Aurelia Noble's in 12th

place. And Alask who did a great job,

finished uh well up in the order in that

first race. She starts down in 11th.

Keep an eye on her. Joan Conte, good

qualifying 10th for her, just behind

Leah Block. They were out of the top

eight. So then eighth is the Khloe

Chambers who was fastest in qualifying.

Seventh, Alicia Palmoski. Sixth place,

Dorian Pin, the winner of race one. Ella

Lloyd who was second earlier on today.

She starts in fifth place. Any of them

could move their way up. Tina Houseman

starting in fourth place. Emma Felber

who lost the third place she had in race

one due to the car being underweight.

She starts third. Nina Gman starts

second. And as we mentioned, it's Khloe

Chong who starts from pole. So that's

how the lineup goes. And as you said,

Alice, it really is very unpredictable

to see how this is all going to work out

because we've got some very rapid

drivers of course down in that reverse

top eight. But we've also got Maya Verg

in the Ferrari uh colors, of course,

supported by Ferrari, who we've seen

doing so well this year, but has been

struggling so much this weekend. She has

and you you really got to feel for her

because they've changed everything MP

have on that car and she's still lacking

power and we've we've ridden on board

with her a couple of times and it just

sounds Yeah. like it's massively

lacking. It's not running correctly. And

uh actually on the weekend wrap that you

can see on F1 Academy socials uh next

week after this race weekend, she talks

a lot about mindset and she's got to

have a strong mindset now because Dorian

Pan, her closest challenger uh has

stretched her legs or actually taken the

lead from Mera in the championship. She

said 24 points is the gap now and Dorian

starting all the way up in P six for

this race. Ma down in 15th.

Ella Lloyd, she's got another good

chance of doing a decent job having

finished second in that first race

earlier. She's racing extremely well.

Alisha Paloski, so she did end up losing

out of points because of the penalty

that was given after the race, but she

does still start in the top eight for

this race. She starts in seventh place.

First time she has effectively scored

points because of the penalty that she

was given. You just see her going

through there with Chloe Chambers behind

her and all of the drivers just getting

a feel for the track now. Of course, it

is a little warmer than it was when we

saw them out in the morning. Track

conditions are a little warmer now.

on track. So, our top three on the grid,

Emma Felder in third, Nina Cademan and

Khloe Chong on pole position. Let's hear

from them after they spoke after

qualifying on Friday.

I'm super happy to be honest. Best

qualifying session of the of the season.

Also close the gap to the front a little

more. Um so happy with the improvements

we did especially after the through

practice. We did a really big step

forward. Um so happy to start tomorrow

from P3.

Race two is all about being the biggest

wall on track and just keeping everyone

behind me because I know my my back

won't keep up. So, um, yeah, it's going

to be tough.

I would love to say that I'm happy, but

quite honestly, I'm a bit disappointed

in my performance. Um, definitely had a

lot more on the plate seeing how close

the top eights were. Um, and also my

performance in FP. So, a little bit

gutted for that, but we are moving

forward. You know, we got a lot work to

do tomorrow, especially in the first

race, but yeah, excited to start on

pole. Um, I think we can we can do a

good job from there. So that was Chloe

Chong on polls who was talking yesterday

and of course the first race did not go

well for her because she got taken out

by Raphaela Ferrer. Thankfully they've

managed to repair the car so she is

going to be starting from this pole and

I do understand how she feels even

though she's starting from the top spot.

The fact that she was eighth fastest in

qualifying obviously frustrated her a

little bit. But now she's got an

opportunity. She'll be starting up

front. Got to hold on to it as best she

can. A lot of drivers seem to be

enjoying driving this track. of course,

new for every single one of them that

are racing here this weekend, but heard

lots of positive things. And that'll be

great news for for the future of F1

Academy, who if you've might have seen

on their their socials and website,

they're to race in Montreal until 2028.

So, extending their deal here with uh

with the circuit. So, many of the

drivers, at least some of them anyway,

who will be staying on next year, they

hope will enjoy some further time at

Montreal. But Chloe Chambers starting in

PH. She'll be our pole sitter for

tomorrow's main race. She'll be hoping

to stay out of plenty of trouble. She's

lining up alongside her teammate. Of

course, they came together. Alicia

getting that penalty uh because of the

contact 10-second penalty in the

previous race. Uh Campos will be

watching through their fingers, I'm

sure, but it would have also have sat

both drivers down and say, "Okay, let's

not have another repeat." They could

even work together to try and move their

way forward because they they've got the

pace. This is a reverse grid race, so

the points on offer are slightly less

than in the race we saw earlier today.

The race we had earlier today was

actually based on the Miami race, race

two that got cancelled because of rain.

This is a reverse grid race. So, the

winner will get 10 points as opposed to

25 points for the race uh that we had

earlier today and the race that we will

have tomorrow. Reverse grid, 10 points

for the win, eight points for second,

and six points for third. But it's still

going to be an exciting race with this

reverse grid. And we are getting all

ready for the start of race two in

Montreal from F1 Academy as the green

light is waved at the back of the field.

The lights are coming on.

Lights out and away we go in F1 Academy.

And it's a good start from Chloe John

from that pole position. She's got away

well. Nina Gateman is coming under

pressure from although she's got into

second place pretty effectively. And in

fact, Ella Lloyd has lent herself up

there. What happened to Feler? I'm not

sure because initially she seemed okay

off the line in the green machine but

she then dropped back and she's now

having to fight her position holding off

Dorian Pan the winner number 28 the

winner of the first race who's trying to

get past her she is and actually I think

it was Emma Falamay that came across her

teammate but a challenge for the lead

already a lightning launch by Ella Lloyd

looking really hungry she's already won

but down the inside goes Nina Gman to

take the lead yeah Nina Gateman into the

lead but look at this Ella Lloyd you're

riding on board with Ella Lloyd who's

going to try and grab second place. So,

it's not going well for Khloe Chong. The

18-year-old started from pole position,

but definitely struggling a little bit.

Emma Felber still trying to hold her

position after something happened. We'll

have another look in a minute. And Chloe

Chong almost making contact. Yes, she

goes off on the grass, loses more

places, but has got back on without

hitting anybody. At the moment, it is

Nina Gman from Ella Lloyd in second

place, Velvar in third. Aggressive stuff

from some of these drivers, but it's a

roads that have made their way further

forward. And the Red Bulls are so close

again in the middle there. I think there

even might have been a little bit of a

touch, but Nina Graveman is stretching

her legs out front. And Ella Lloyd is

now under immense pressure from her

teammate Emma Falmire, who sadly got

excluded from race one for being

underweight, but she's looking to charge

forward against her teammate.

Absolutely. So, let's have a look at

this. Is Eloy going to be able to defend

as they come down to the right left of

course where we've often seen instance

she's actually had a really good exit

and I think she's going to be able to

make the move and take that second place

as they come over the line. Ella Lloyd

missing out a lot actually. She's lost

the place to Dorian P. She may lose to

Chloe Chambers as well. Ella going lays

on the brakes to try and hold them off.

Nearly loses it but held on. Well done

to her. She just about held on for that

position and Gademan's going to be

looking back and going, you continue to

scrap. But great launch from Ever

Feromire riding on board now in the Red

Bull Ford of Chloe Chambers as she gets

smacks the curb going into turn three.

Ducks into the toe of Dorian Pan as

they'll sweep through now. They'll stamp

on the brakes into turn six, which is

where we saw Nina overtake Khloe

Chambers who's unfortunately dropped all

Khloe Chong should I say, all the way

down now into 13th.

Let's play smart.

Yeah. Well, the team just advising

Dorian P. She isn't smart. She's usually

very good at just managing to avoid

what's going on around her when it goes

a bit crazy, but she's in a very strong

position still here. Clearly, uh she won

the earlier race today. She's in fourth

place at the moment and she's now

putting Ella Lloyd under a bit more

pressure. Lloyd is holding that inside

line into the hair pit. Sometimes you

can go around the outside, but that was

late breaking by Ella Lloyd. So Dorian

Fan knew she wasn't going to make it.

She's under pressure though from Khloe

Chambers right behind. And Khloe

Chambers is potentially a championship

contender. So she needs to keep an eye

on that. That was smart driving there

from from Ella Lloyd. She kind of ve the

corner off. Stopped it in the middle.

And Dorian had to hesitate and look out

for Khloe Chambers going down the inside

wheelto-heel. Great spot. We got it.

We're getting Dorian's later on the

brakes but Kloe has the inside just

about and she's had to back off. This is

going to give Lloyd a little bit of

breathing space.

Absolutely. And I'm surprised that all

three made it through, but they did.

Meanwhile, by the way, Maya Ver is in

11th place. And that's a bit more

encourage. Oh, little lock up there from

Dorian Pan. Was there contact? It might

have been. I couldn't quite see whether

Chambers just touched the back of her

car there, but he's still getting away

with it. This is all a little bit

marginal. It's all helping Nina Gateman

holding the lead in this race. But as I

mentioned, Maya Verd, who's had problems

with her car in the Ferrari colors,

supported by Ferrari as she is, she is

now running in 11th place. So maybe the

car is working a bit better than it has

been all weekend so far. So race start

instant you can see up there between

Ella Lloyd and Tina Houseman. I actually

think it was Emma Felder. We'll have to

obviously see the replay from the start

that moved across. Ella was there and

then Ella had to move across and then

that squeezed Tina Houseman onto the

grass. But looking back, Dorian has for

now at least escaped at the clutches of

Khloe Chambers who's also then

beingounded down by her teammate Alicia

Palmovski. But out front sectors are

flashing up and under pressure is once

again from Dorian Pan. Yeah, nearly. But

she holds that inside line and it does

work as you say behind Khloe Chambers.

two Red Bull cars. Khloe Chambers in

fifth place, Alicia Tamoski in sixth.

They didn't have that contact in race

one when they were fighting for the lead

earlier, and I'm sure the teams will

have made sure that that that they do

not do that again also going well. Alba

Lson, by the way, she's running in

seventh place. Number 12, she had a good

first race. She does go well around this

track, but she didn't quite get

qualifying as efficiently as she had

done in free practice, funnily enough.

But she is moving up through the order

at Mayerberg still in 11th place. Let's

see whether that gets any better. The

fastest lap for Alson there. It sounds

like we're at an indoor go-kart track,

doesn't it? With all this tire wheels

squealing that's going on. Also just set

the fastest lap of the race. She's

currently in seventh place. Started

11th. But it's great to see that Mayuk

still out there battling away, learning.

Of course, she's not really had any laps

around this track. No laps in pre-

practice. Similar with qualifying as

well. of course the issues in the first

race of the weekend. So we'll continue

to keep an eye on her to see if she can

move up into the points. Remember points

for the top eight in this reverse grid

race. So she's got a few more places to

try and gain. Absolutely right. Yes,

it's harder to get the points for

reverse grid. And by the way, the wild

card Matilda Pat, she's doing pretty

well. She's in 12th place. She's behind

Maver, but that's another one to keep an

eye on just a little bit. No further

investigation on the incident at the

start. We will be looking at that in

just a few moments time. But this

battling going on up front is very very

close. You're on board with Khloe

Chambers behind Dorian Pan. And as much

as Dorian Pan has been trying to get

past Ella Lloyd, she's not quite close

enough this time to get alongside into

the hair pin. And Chloe Chambers will

get a good slipstream. This is the area

of the track as they come out and go

down the longest straight through the

gentle curves 11 and 12 and down towards

the chicane where you can really get

some useful drag from the car ahead. You

can, and you can see you're ducking into

the back of the slipstream of the car in

front, making sure you're hitting all

your gear changes spot on. One slight

error with an upshift down that long

back straight, and that could be game

over in terms of defending your plays.

But here, let's have a look at the

replay of the start. You can just see

that Eloy gets a great launch, is then

squeezed across by her teammate Emma

Felber, who then unfortunately for Tina

Houseman, she was the innocent party

there, is squeezed onto the grass. So,

uh, luckily the Oh, that's Chloe

Chambers. So, there's been an incident

down into turn two and we haven't quite

seen what happened yet, but that's

another big blow for the girls

celebrating her 21st birthday. The great

racer. She's doing a a really good job

this year, but it's not working out.

Let's see what what happened here. So,

it's between her and Dorian Pan. Is

there contact?

Oh, it's marginal. Man, she squeezed me

off the track. My right wheels were in

the grass.

I mean, we'll have to see again, but

it's this is not the first time these

two have come to blows. They came

together in Abu Dhabi in the final race

of the season last year. Both drivers

dropped down the order, but Dorian has

escaped with dropping any further back,

but it this time it's Khloe Chambers

that's dropped way down the order. And

look at Alva Larson. She's into P6 now,

right on the back of Alicia Palmki, who

had a real strong pace in free practice.

was the the fastest driver in free

practice but wasn't able to convert that

in qualifying. But that gap now at the

front ben is coming down. And one thing

to note if uh we've had any new viewers

to F1 Academy this weekend, there's no

DRS for these cars. So it's all about

trying to maximize your exits and hit

every reference, every apex breaking

point to try and close that gap to the

car in front. This is impressive what

Alberta Larson's doing. There's a little

bit of a weave around there from Nina

Gman. Uh but she's she's not really

they're not close enough to really get

the toe from her on this lap. Mind you,

Nina Gateman has led a race in the past

and it didn't work out for her. That was

uh in China at the beginning of this

year when she looked on target to take

the victory but had a problem with the

car late on. Going back to the race

start once again here and as you say

Tina House definitely lost out because

of that little run onto the grass. Let's

just have another little look here as

well as what was going on

into the chicane. That was actually

reasonably tidy. Let's have a look at

from on board Lloyd. Yeah, Nina Gaver

saw the door open. Chloe must have break

slightly earlier and uh down the inside

and then it was close between these two

teammates. Ello Lloyd in the McLaren car

and Chloe Chong in the Charlotte Tilbury

back car. And this is a view from Dorian

Pan who was uh

forced she's going to say onto the

grass. M is pushing me on track the

grass. Noted. I mean, I think there was

just about enough room there. And there

we saw Chloe Chong going across the the

grass. And then this is where is getting

nice and close a few laps before. And

here a great run out from Chloe

Chambers. She's going to elect. Okay, I

know what you're going to do. You're

going to go down to defend. I'm going to

try around the outside.

So, let's just have another Oh, there

was a touch. That's right. I thought

there might have been a little contact.

Um, that's not the one that led to the

spin, of course.

That did look like It didn't look like

she was pushed off to me there. I mean,

yes, it's they're both going to be

fighting it. And here's Nina Gman

cutting the chicane. Now, she did have a

very impressive uh final sector a couple

of laps ago, and I wonder if that was

from cutting uh that chicane. So I'm

sure the uh the stewards and they have

noted that her going across the the

chicane she's able to open the gap a

little bit more from ever feline.

Absolutely. Well at the moment Gman has

got that that as you say 1.6 Six second

gap Lloyd in third place still holding

off championship leader Dorian Pan as

Albert Lson makes a move down the inside

and that was a good move in an area

where we haven't seen many overtakes

taking place but is she going to be able

to hold on to it because it does then

just make it a little bit difficult to

get the good exit speed you need. But so

far this is working and she has managed

to get herself ahead of Alicia Palmoski

who's going to have to work hard to get

back there. She is and I'm hugely

impressed from Albalson this weekend.

She had strong pace at the start of

qualifying. Wasn't able to convert it

when everyone else came back out of the

pit. She was top of the session for for

a while, but we mentioned she started

down in 11th. Now has made that move up

into fifth place and she's looking

strong lap time wise. This is super

impressive. Ella Lloyd has got even more

pressure once again to soak up from

Dorian Pan who looks like he's got a

good run and a prime example there of

that slipstream effect. Yeah. So she

alloy goes to the inside which makes

sense but with that slipstream there's

good straight line speed here for Dorian

Pank. Has she break later? Oh, she locks

the front but she has to run across.

She'll have to give that place back. She

will have to let back through because

otherwise there'll be some penalty I

think. Well the thing is Lloyd cut the

track as well. So Lloyd was not able to

that's what it looked like from that

camera angle. Fine. But uh the person

with the pace coming through now looks

like Alva Larsen in the MP car and on

Maya Berg watch she's now up into ninth

place 3/10en of a second away from oil

and Nobles. So she could grab the final

points paying position top eight for

this race to get points. So we'll keep

an eye and out the front Emma is closing

the gap ever so slightly to Nina Ga.

Let's take another look at this then. As

you say if they both went off then that

makes it a bit more straightforward. So

she's on the outside. She goes in. Yeah,

absolutely. So, yeah, you can argue that

the overtake was already done. I wonder

how they will review it. I think they'll

be pretty safe for for that one, both of

them. So, uh they're both in similar

gap, black and white flag for track

limits already. Nina Gman anymore and

she's going to get uh a 5second time

penalty. So, she's got to try and keep

within those track limits.

What should I do for position? Switch

positions. Switch positions. Ah, she has

been told to give it back again. And she

did ask because she wasn't sure. But

that is a, as you say, it's a tricky one

because Eloid also, if she had got

through the chicane, then it might have

made more sense. But if the team are

telling her to do that, then I'm sure

she will. I mean, yeah, we we've seen

this kind of thing happen, didn't we,

with back in Barcelona with Max Stafford

being after swap. You can see the rear

really car there from Albertal Larson. I

mean, I'm surprised they're saying to

switch positions. Maybe they are a bit

concerned, but Ella Lloyd cut the

chicane as well. It's not been switched

as yet, but Meera's all on the back of

the Pummer backed car of Nobles. And

she's going to go down the inside here,

Ben. Yeah, this is a good move from Maya

Verge, who's Oh, not quite there though.

Not quite. A little lock up though from

Aurelia Nobels and she just holds on to

it for the moment from Maya. might have

desperate to try and get back further up

the order to score vital points, having

been the series leader coming into this

event, but losing out so much in the

first race with not getting a finish at

all and losing out in qualifying with

the car not working. So, she's working

at it now. But it's not going to be

easier to get past Aurelia Nobel who can

put in some very good performances

herself as we've seen this year. Nina

Gab still leading Lloyd yet does go back

in front of Dorian Pan. So they left it

for a while, but she has now let her

through. So we'll see this battle

continue and it's close behind them as

well for both of their that lap seven.

They skipped through that chicane. Both

of their them got their lap time deleted

for for track limits. So uh we'll see.

But Albalson's taking a dive down the

inside. It's a late one. They make

contact between the two drivers. That's

going to give Ella Lloyd some breathing

space, but also bring Alicia Palmovski

back into the mix. Yeah, that was well

held, but that could have easily gone

wrong. Dorian Pa just managed to control

the over steer as a result of the

incident. And now Larsson is having to

defend herself very much from Alicia

Palmoski. And let's have a look from the

back of Dorian Pan's car. We can see

whether they're going to be able to get

through the wall of champions safely.

They do want this one. And this is still

all very, very tight. Have to say for

Nina Gaman still leading this race with

a 1.4 4 second advantage over Emma

Felber. This is going really well for

Nina Gaman because all the battling

seems to be really for third place at

the moment, doesn't it? It does. And a

brave dive down the inside between

Albalen. I think it was a bit of a late

move. That one certainly wasn't on and

uh Dorian so lucky not to have been

turned around there. She I think she was

aware she she gave a bit of extra space.

She went quite wide but there was still

the contact, wasn't there? Yeah,

there'll be no real damage to to the

cars. Very light contact. Uh incident of

course now is uh been noted by the

stewards. So they'll have a little look

down to that. I think the last one will

probably escape with any kind of

penalty. If Dorian had been turned

around, it could have been slightly

different. But Dorian still under

pressure, but she is clawing her way

back up to the back of Ella Lloyd. She

is. And of course in terms of the series

itself and scoring points, yes, Ella

Lloyd is ahead of her and in theory Ella

could be a threat later in the year as

it goes, but we'll have to see. May

takes a dive down the inside there and

gets the position this time into the

hair pit. So May goes up into eighth

position, gets past Aurelia Nobel and

Leah Block behind in the Williams

supported machine also trying to get

involved. Mayberg now having to watch

out though because of course the slip

street is benefiting Aurelia Nobles as

they come down and I still wonder

whether Mayberg's cars working quite as

well as it should be and oh no they've

made contacts

and Ver have made contact and that is a

great shame. Hopefully both cars are

okay but that was not ideal at all. No,

it certainly wasn't. And uh just missed

judgment there. And actually, no, Boss,

I thought she'd gone into the pit lane.

So, she's done a good job to try and

keep that on track. That of course is

going to be noted. The little w the

little animal on the side there had a

great view. Um the groundhog that was

was watching. Need to give that

groundhog a camera. He get some great

shots. But we'll have a little look

again. Two of them actually, but one of

them staying there to watch prime

position as we saw. And yeah, it was uh

Maya just didn't leave her enough room

on the left hand side as you can see

opening up to open up the corner. And

lucky there that neither of them uh well

a have damage and certainly B for Nobles

that she was able to keep it out from

going down the pit lane and and uh

having a spin. Yeah, absolutely right.

She did very well to hold on to that.

But this this weekend not getting any

better for Maya Berg even though the

car's working a little better now. So

that's a great shame. Nina Gateman is

still the race leader. It is the battle

for third, fourth, fifth, sixth that is

all so close here. Ella Lloyd, who

finished second in the first race of the

day earlier on, she's looking for

another podium finish here. Uh but she's

still under major threat of course from

the very rapid French driver Dorian Pan

who took the win earlier who's taken

three wins so far this year, three wins

last year as well. So she has been a

very dominant force, but Lloyd is

holding it off well at this stage. And

then Alma Larson, who qualified rather

poorly, uh, but she's done extremely

well to get into this mix. Perhaps she

can still get a podium. She's scored

points very regularly, but she's missed

out on a podium so far this year. Yes,

she has. And Dorian now is in again that

tricky position of trying to attack and

then trying to defend as well. Alicia

still hang on the back there. And

actually, this has brought Tina Houseman

into the mix as well. You can just see

the Aston Martin driver in the back of

shot there. She was over 2 seconds

behind this battle. Uh she's now closed

the gap to Palmovski in P6 to nearly

under 1 second. So good job for her and

uh setting decent pace out there and Ela

Felbay is now closing the gap down and

Raphaela Ferrer has come in. Obviously

her car sane quite a bit of damage from

that incident and Nobles as well. Yeah,

that's a shame. Aurelia Nobel's and she

seemed to survive that incident that

occurred with Maya Ver going down into

the chicane but but maybe it has done

damage because she has now had to come

into the pit. So that's a great shame

because it looked like she might be in a

position to still score some points.

backed machine holding on to third place

from the Mercedes back to Dorian Pan who

is now got quite a comfortable lead in

the championship but is fighting for

every position as normal. Then Alva

Larson in fifth place at the moment with

Alicia Palmoski right behind her in

sixth position. Tina Houseman who missed

out was a bit unlucky at the start of

this race. She's running in seventh

place. Leah Block is in eighth place.

Oh, and look at this. Dorian Pan just

having another little opportunity. Late

breaking. Late breaking. Is she going to

have to? Yeah, she's going to have to

straight line it now. This is

interesting because she will come back

out. She'll have to let She's going to

have to feed back in, isn't she? And now

Alba Larson is getting squeezed by a

Lloyd. Careful ladies down into turn

one. And Alicia is going having a look

to go down the inside. But Dorian's got

to give that place back. Yeah, of course

she has. And it's going to be a tricky

one to to do so with how close these

drivers are behind her. Yeah. And of

course, if Ela Lson had got past Eloid

right then, she might have had to give

the place to both of them possibly. I

don't know. But right now, as long as

she gives it back to Eloy, they probably

will let her do that. Let's have a

little listen to the radio.

But that's uh that's what we expected at

least this time around. Maybe not the

first time round, but uh now be a

perfect opportunity to try and give that

back because there is is a little bit of

a gap there. And that's exactly what she

she does. She'll then force Ella to take

the tighter line which could could upset

her going into that chicane. So have a

look at the replay there. So Dorian of

course is then going to go to the left

of Ella Lloyd. Ella defends, pulls over

and she Ella just about gave her enough

room on the inside. Dorian, we've seen

it before and we will see it again.

Plenty of drivers having a lock up down

into that final chicane. But Alberta

Lson is alongside Dorian Pan now. So

Alva Lson number 12 is getting right

alongside Dorian Pan. And Alva Lson, one

of the young younger racers in F1

Academy. She's doing a really good job

at the moment. Isel going to be able to

get past Orian Pa here. Yellow flag in

sector three and we've got a spin for

Nicole Havda. Um so that of course could

cause problems for everybody. It's just

a yellow flag at the moment. It's not a

safety car as yet. But Dorian Pan has

been passed by Alba Lson, hasn't she? So

that is a good move by Lson. She's up

into fourth place. And now Dorian Pan's

coming under threat from Paloski as

well. She is. And the gap down at at the

front is now under nearly under half a

second, but safety car is out. So

there's been contact somewhere along the

line. I wonder if it was I didn't

actually catch where Haba was. That has

kind of saved Nina Gman actually because

she was under a lot of pressure about to

come under a lot of pressure from Emma

Felber. Uh so this is really bunched up.

I would have thought this will be a

super quick well you'd like to think uh

safety car. And you can see the the

tractors already making its way out onto

the circuit at Nina Gade. That's

actually that's Nobles coming through

shot there who's obviously been into the

pit. So let's check this replay out. And

it's the two high-tech teammates.

whacked into the back of the other one

and damaged the front end. Let's have

another look at this. What do you think?

off. Yeah, I think um Hamida just

misjudged the breaking point of the car

in front and uh clipped the rear, she'll

say, potentially moving in the braking

zone from Anagnostiardis, but uh

I mean she she was already there on the

inside. I think that it was just a

misjudgment by HRA, but that of course

will be looked at by the stewards. It

will. It's another one. But that is a

great shame that they have made contact

and they both drive for the high-tech

team. Um Nicole Havda supported by

American Express and uh well

unfortunately that is the end of her

race there and it's been a has been a

bit of a challenging time for her

recently. Uh now just have another look

at the what happened when um Dorian Pam

was passed by Alba Lson who was on the

outside into the chicane. And yeah,

Dorian Pan was quite cautious, wasn't

she? She was. But what a move. What

bravery from Alba Lson. You got to trust

the driver on the inside, but Dorian was

was cautious, but she needs to keep her

nose clean. She she's seen Khloe

Chambers now who's dropped outside of of

the points. And consistency is what's

going to win you a championship. And

that's what her premer team said to

Dorian. Play smart. And okay, she's

dropped a couple of places. She started

in sixth. So overall, she has gained a

place, but she needs to just rack up

those points. And we we saw that last

year, didn't we, from Abby Pulling, just

making sure you you rack up those

results. Don't do anything crazy. And

and that's what wins you a championship

in the end. Absolutely right. and her

major threats in the championship are

still behind her, aren't they? Because

the likes of Alicia Palmoski is behind.

Maya Ver is still behind. Khloe Chambers

is down in 10th place, who's another

major rival in theory. But she's having

a a tough day as well. Remember that

Khloe Chambers will be starting from

pole position in the race on Sunday um

when they get the the maximum points. 25

points for a win as opposed to 10 points

for a win today in the reverse grid

race. But Nina Gman, it still will be

putting Nina Gateman under some pressure

this if we get the race restarted. I

think, as you said, I think we will get

it restarted for at least one or maybe

two racing laps because they are moving

that car now. So, I think we're going to

get Yeah, we're probably going to get

one racing lap, aren't we? So, there

because the tractor and the stricken car

of Harder is not off circuit yet, they

can't turn the the safer car lights off.

So that'll take us on to the 16th lap of

out of 17. And that we're going to have

a one lap dash to the checker flag. What

could possibly go wrong, Ben? That does

that does worry me a little bit. It

could be chaos, of course, but we shall

see because if you only have one lap

when the safety car comes in,

everybody's just going to go for it. And

particularly there will be another race

tomorrow, but there's an overnight space

in which cars can be repaired. I think

the teams might be worrying about this.

It might be a long evening, but let's

wait and see. It could be it could be

straightforward. It could be uh more

incidents. We shall see soon. Well, we

know that Emma Falamire from uh from

watching her in in previous races

is going to go for go for it. If she

gets a a good restart, then no doubt I

expect that she will be and then there's

confirmation that safety car will end

this will be ending on this lap, but no

doubt Emma's going to going to go for

it. Ella Lloyd as well. She will

certainly try and make a dive down the

inside if she can get a good restart.

She didn't have a great restart in the

the first race here as uh again so we

got Summer Mintosh now who will be

waving our checkered flag in a lap or

so's time. The Canadian Olympic champion

swimmer you can see in our team viewer

box but lights are already out on the

safety car. Absolutely. So, we are going

to have an exciting final blast here.

And Nina Gman, of course, I wonder how

she's feeling because she led a race in

China for nearly all of it and then lost

out. That was because of a reliability

problem earlier on this year. Now, can

Nina Gaiman hold on for this win or is

it all going to change again with the

safety car ending? It possibly can, but

she'll be she'll be hoping. She's done

everything right, Nina. She she got to

the front. She was so unlucky with a car

uh failure when she was leading so

comfortably really in uh in Shanghai.

But she'll be looking to add to Alpine's

tally of uh wins in the championship.

They obviously racked up nine wins last

year. She'll be looking to to add to

that. Earlier on today, we saw Dorian

Pan take the restart and she did it in

in a pretty sensible way. Let's just

listen in to the radio. It will only be

one racing lap, so remember we still

have a black and white flag. So just

clean driving till the end. Okay. Yeah.

So don't run wide. Yeah. Basically what

you just said. Yeah. But the the

interesting here is when she goes for

it. Dorian Pan did a good job on this.

She didn't go very early on this

straight or is she going earlier? Yes,

she's gone a bit earlier. Although

that's probably okay. I mean, yeah,

she's got to make sure she's going to

hit her breaking point perfectly. She's

already been told you can't lock up. You

cannot go off. And well done to Nina cuz

she's done a great job. You can see the

car squirming from Emma Felber who

didn't get a great restart is Alba Len.

She's going to be under pressure. There

you go from Dorian Pan. Absolutely. But

Felmire made a good restart there. She

didn't drop too much and she is going to

definitely put Gman under pressure on

this last lap. So is it going to be the

same story at the end? Nina Gateman

leading from Felmmyer in second place.

Anna Lloyd in that third position. And

she is somebody who can also really make

a move if she feels she's got that

opportunity. Ala Larson still in full

still looking for her first podium of

the year. Can that happen here? Dorian

Pan back down into fifth place. Here you

are. Look, there's a bit of a challenge

for the lead. Elid sensibly is doing her

own thing. Seeing that they might fight

each other, she might be able to get the

exit here. Yeah, she had a little look.

There was definitely no space, but this

is Ben. We've got I'm not even going to

attempt to count the amount of cars that

are going to be battling for this lead.

And she's down the inside goes Emma

Felbay takes the lead. Ben, so Felmire

does go, but does she squeeze her out

wide? Elo still got a chance to cut in

here, but at the moment it's Felma who's

taken the lead from Nina Gateman. You're

on board with Elo now. What can she do?

Can she go for second? Can she go for

the win even down into the hair pin?

She's definitely got the chance to take

second place. And Nina Gateman is

definitely losing out after leading so

much of this race. Fantastic racing from

these ladies in F1 Academy and it's

going to be a drag race down the

straight and it's going to be a perfect

position for MF Albamire. She's got to

hit that breaking point down into the

final corner. Is this going to work? Are

we going to get them all to the line or

are anybody going to hit the wall? Dora

Power. No, Felbayer goes over and surely

that's going to be a problem for the

Stewart as she will come across the line

first. Emma Fel by Anna Lloyd comes

across the line in second, Nina Gman in

third, but that is something that will

be looked at now. That will be and I

don't know if if they all know that the

race is over. It still looks like Emma

Felmmyers pushing out front there, but

it's a a win for Roodin at least anyway

for for one of them. That's true. But a

one two for Roden Motorsport as it

stands at the moment. Yeah, right now it

is. But we'll stay that way. We'll have

to have another look at the stewards.

will have to make the decision as to

whether she went because she didn't make

the chicane absolutely clean. Did she

deserve to hold that position? We shall

find out. But Emma Felder, who finished

third earlier on today and then lost it

for a weight failure,

checker flag, checker flag, P1 P1,

mate, mate, they're confident that she's

got it. And uh we shall see. We shall

see if Emma Felmmy, the 18-year-old from

Austria, has managed to take the victory

here. Ella Lloyd, a second place as she

had earlier today. Let's have another

look at these. So, bravery from Emma

Feldmire throwing it down the inside and

then managing to make it stick. And then

this is where I almost nearly covered my

eyes. They all charge down into turn 10.

Eloy takes it down to the inside, but

then Felbire runs slightly wide, but she

manages to to cover it. And then even

further back with three breast, but uh a

lock up from Dorian Pan and Ella Lloyd

did a great job cuz she nearly followed

the route of Emma Feldmire. So let's

have a little look. So slightly later on

the brakes was Emma Felby in the first

phase of the braking, skips over the

chicane. Wow. I mean, race of the season

so far in F1 Academy and it's still a

difficult one because if you go off

there, you're meant to cut back on at a

certain position and she cut back on

early there effectively. But I could

totally understand why she did that. So,

what they're going to do here with this

decision, is Ella Lloyd going to end up

with victory? I don't know. I think

she'll hold it cuz she didn't gain much

of an advantage. Great job.

Thank you. She's obviously asked the

question already and and the team run

them both. So, uh yeah, they they are

teammates, but of course, uh Ella Lloyd

racing for McLaren. Um she'll be wanting

to of course inherited that that win. Uh

coming up on our screens is Emma Felby

did lo time was deleted for that turn,

that incident at the final corner, but

she didn't she wasn't on her final

warning as she pulls up. But a nice one

two for Roden Motorsport. I mean, it was

actually really fun to watch and

fascinating to see uh will she hold on

to it and and they have to make a

decision quick because the podium is

coming up, of course. So, but right now

she can celebrate. Right now, the team

certainly feels she totally deserves it.

She's taken the victory ahead of Ella

Lloyd in second position and third place

for the driver that led so much of that

race, Nina Gman, the 21-year-old from

the Netherlands who had a really good

race, but the safety car did hurt her.

That the the restart she did wasn't

perfect. Wasn't quite as good as Dorian

Pan had done earlier today. And then

with the toe and the speed that cars

have behind you, it can be very

difficult to hold them off. And as you

said, it was a brave move by Emma Felber

to make that move and take the lead.

Still some questions around, but well

done to Nina Gman. At least she's ended

up with a podium. The other time she led

that race, she didn't finish it so with

a reliability problem. So, she has

brought it home, which is good. And her

previous best was fourth weekend. She

got third earlier today when Emma Felber

was disqualified for third. So, Nina

Gman got third then and this time she's

got third although she was leading it

earlier. And of course, if Felier does

get any kind of penalty, we're not

seeing anything come up about that. Um,

at the moment, it's looking as though

Emma Felder has indeed got this win. Um,

so I don't think Nina Gman's going to

gain another one, but we shall find out.

I've just take a big breath then. My

heart rate was through the roof on that

final lap. I don't know about yours.

These certainly these ladies out there

would have been uh heart rate would have

been going through the roof as well, but

uh disappointment. I'm sure Nina Gaiman

will be uh disappointed with that

leading on the start of the final lap to

then end up in P3, but still a solid job

from from her. But Dorian Pan has uh has

come out the winner in terms of

championship positioning. She's now on

93 points. Maya Verg at 64 and Chloe

Chambers in in P3 on 62.

So let's have a little look then at how

the full race result does look. It's

Emma Felbayer who has taken the victory

with Ella Lloyd in second place for the

second time today and Nina Gman in third

position. And for the road team that is

a one two finish. Prama in third with

Nina Gman. Then Dorian Pat in fourth

ahead of Alberta Larsson, Alicia

Palmoski, Tina Houseman, Leia Block in

eighth, Maver in ninth and Khloe

Chambers in 10th. No points in 10th in

the reverse grid. Matilda Pats the wild

card entry in 11th place ahead of

Courtney Cone Aurelia Nobles and a few

others out of the points and a couple

who didn't make the end of the race I'm

afraid. So there we go. That's uh two

races out of three held here at

Montreal. And actually I have to say

both races have been really interesting.

All sorts of things have been going on.

Of course safety cars always can add to

that. And safety car the the safety car

was originated at this track many in the

early 1970s was when safety car first

appeared in Formula 1. Um, and we're

quite used to it in Formula 1 and

they're obviously just as used to it in

F1 Academy. I think there's only been

one race, hasn't there, this year

without a safety car anyway. I mean,

some some great driving on display from

the drivers here in F1 Academy. And the

great news is is we get to do it all

over again tomorrow, Ben, with uh our

main, you could say, eesly the feature

race where Khloe Chambers will be

starting on pole alongside Alicia

Palmovski. Uh that'll be taking place

tomorrow at 10:55

local time. Uh remember, not full points

for for this race. There'll be four

points for the race tomorrow. But it's

great to see such a big turnout as uh

we'll head down into the cool down room

to listen in. Absolutely. See what kind

of conversation they have. Yeah.

I thought I was going to get squished.

Oh man, it was so bad. Honestly,

why am I sitting? Isn't this your Oh, it

doesn't matter.

You and P were fighting the whole time,

right? Yeah. She kept going up. Oh.

Yeah, the whole time.

Uh, that was a safety car.

Well, yeah, it's interesting seeing

that. Nina Gman, who had an injury

earlier this uh season and you could see

her trying to stretch her back and

clearly that back injury is still

causing her a bit of an issue, but she

has ended up with a podium finish, but

of course you could see the

disappointment on her face that she

didn't win that race because she was

leading it for so long. Yeah, she like

you said had struggling along still with

that that injury. Um she was almost I

was looking at her stretching her back

over the back uh of the chair in in the

cool down room. So still struggling and

it's hard. There's nothing worse than

feeling really uncomfortable in a race

car and battling an injury like that. Um

but she'll be hoping she's got there's a

great team down back at Enstone with

Alpine Dave and the rest of the crew do

a fantastic job uh in the human

performance gym there. So no doubt that

they'll be aiding Nina with her

recovery. So here we go then onto the

podium they come. Nina Gateman having

settled for that third place but it's

still a very very good result for her

despite the fact that it's frustration

and losing out on the win. Elo being

very consistent now. So that's two

second places here today and she's had

one win in the series so far. But

victory today has gone to Emma Felber

and it's time for the Austrians to come

out.

Well, it's a big one for Emma Falamaya

taking her first win in F1 Academy here

in Montreal. It's a track that has seen

some very, very famous F1 drivers take

their first F1 wins at this track. Gajil

Vner Nerf took his first win at this

Canada track back in 1978 when it all

kicked off and uh Lewis Hamilton also

took his first ever F1 win at this

circuit as well. Ella Lloyd doing a

great job though and scoring points

consistently now and she can perhaps

become a major threat in the

championship although Dorian Pan did

plenty today and there Nina Gaiman who

was leading that race earlier on but the

safety car did hit her a little bit and

we have had confirmation no penalty uh

for Felier. So this is very much the top

three of race two. It is. And uh

brilliant racing as I've already said

from all of these drivers. Champagne

flowing. Yeah, it does hurt when you get

it in your eyes, but it's great to see

them all celebrating together. And we

get to go again all over again tomorrow.

It's been fantastic racing so far from

F1 Academy here in Montreal. It has been

thoroughly entertaining. Tomorrow, Khloe

Chambers will be on a pole position once

again, and we'll see whether she's going

to be able to turn it all around after

what has been a bit of a tough day for

her being her 21st birthday. Sadly, it

didn't all quite come together for her,

but tomorrow is a new day and another

opportunity when she'll be starting from

that pole position and Alicia Palmovski

will also be up front as well. But

there'll be plenty of opportunities for

more incidents, more overtaking perhaps

as we've had here today and lots to see.

And of course, we are expecting it to to

remain dry in this part of the world,

but you never quite know in Canada in

Montreal whether it will stay. So,
