For me, it was too much.

I've only heard this song

a couple of times in my life,

so, this has definitely stumped me

a little bit in my tracks.

It's got a massive range.

It's super challenging

because it starts off super low
in my register.

And then I have to do a big jump

to get up to the high part.

Um, I was really shocked
at how tentative he was.

I know you're still learning
this song,

but it's very timid.

It's in a very timid spot
at the moment.

Mm-hm.

You have to show us what you can do.

It's a song
I'm not super familiar with.

It goes from so low in my range.

And then that big sudden jump.

Yeah.

I'm not quite sure of.

Do you want to change the key
or something?

Um, if we change the key,
it's gonna be too low probably.

So much of this is all in the mind.

I just really hope that
the more they practice it,

the more confident they'll get.

I thought these were
my most self-assured, fully cooked,

proper artists.

And yet, yeah, they both seem to be
doubting themselves.

So, Sienna I'd love to hear, like

what you just did then

with between seven and ten times
more energy behind it.

For me, it's a very slow song.

So, in the gaps filling that space,
you can't be like nervous.

You sort of have to like,
accept the gap,

which is nerve wracking.

So, you have to keep delivering us
that message of the song.

It has to be there,
behind your eyes, in the gaps.

If you don't,

it could really fall flat.

I need them to go away
and do their homework

to think about

what they're gonna bring
to every lyric.

because I could tell

Both of them did
let their vocals slip a bit

during the blind auditions,

because they were moving around
and dancing.

This is their chance
to show me that they can entertain,

but also deliver a flawless vocal.

The song that I've picked

So, Kate obviously
wanted the vocals to stay strong,

but also the performance
to stay strong.

And although maybe

it might seem like

sometimes my performance

takes the lead,

I can do both
and I'm keen to finally show it.

I'm worried about getting
caught up in the performance

ever so slightly.

I think it's very easy
to get carried away

when singing a song and shouting.

Ah sometimes when entertaining
it's so easy to do

to get caught up in the moment.

I just hope

that Kate sees the hard work
that I can put in,

that the other coaches see
the hard work that I can put in.

I need these guys to be free

to be the entertainers
that they are.

But the show is called The Voice,

how to command a stage

for people to keep their eyes
on you, glued to you.

is an incredible talent in itself.

I think it's

I'm gonna be a little critical
for a second

because I feel lik
that's, you know, my responsibility.

The thing that threw me a little bit
throughout the performance,

oddly enough, was rhythm,
was timing.

I felt like you guys
were really pushing and rushing.

You know, when you're gonna do
a dance thing like that,

you got to be in the pocket.

And I felt like you guys

were a little all over
the place rhythmically.

So, that's somethin
I would suggest you work on together

or separately.

The song suited both of you vocally,

but I felt like, Justin, you just,
it was in the meat of your range.

Some of your vocal choices,

I thought, whoa,
I didn't expect him to do that,

so, I thought you were both great.

I really enjoyed it,

but I think
Justin was the winner of this one.

you know, there were moments

where maybe the vocals did suffer
when you were moving around a lot.
