This is also a very good time to talk about e-mail notifications because if you have gone through an

order something from your site you will have received an e-mail notification from Shopify if you haven't

check your spam because it will be there.

So have these notifications work where they actually come from.

Well it's all very straightforward.

We just need to go down to settings and go to notifications.

Now what you have here is a complete e-mail set that goes out automatically.

You don't have anything to do.

This is a fantastic value add from Shopify.

Now just for example this very first one the order confirmation which would have been the you would

have got it sent ultimately to the customer after they placed the order.

Now just for interest if I click on this you get a bunch of stuff here.

Now all this is is the possibility to customize the e-mail if you wanted to.

But quite frankly it's really not necessary so you know where it is.

But I really don't recommend touching this for time being.

So if I go back to notifications and say we got everything for the order process here but we've also

got everything for the shipping process.

We haven't got to this point in the course yet but when we do ship that product to the customer they

will get for example the shipping confirmation and ultimately to the customer when their order is filled.
