about to turn really harsh,

as fall sets in, meaning
that we're out of time

to conduct any more
large-scale experiments.

PETE:
I brought some goodies.

-We can do photogrammetry.
-Now, that's good.

TRAVIS: So we invited
technologist Pete Kelsey back

to perform a final high-tech

3D photogrammetry drone scan
of the entire ranch.

Well, I'm excited
to have you out here.

-It'd be great
to take you back to the mesa.

Photogrammetry is a process

where thousands
of high-definition photographs

are taken of an area of interest

and combined to create a
detailed three-dimensional map,

potentially
revealing features

that aren't visible
to the naked eye.

-THOMAS:

-TRAVIS: All right.

Before we have to put
our investigation

on hold until next year,

we want to get a 3D model

of every part of the ranch
to see if any anomalies appear.

If something shows up,

maybe it will help us determine

what is behind all the UAPs
and the other phenomena

that we've documented here.

TRAVIS:
Well, start, uh, getting set up

-and let's do this thing.
-PETE: Okay.

ERIK:

on some of the most advanced

technology one can get
his hands on.

ERIK:
This drone is
a robotic flying platform

that has
exquisite spatial awareness.

That very precise
positional awareness

is essential for reconstructing

an accurate three-dimensional
model of the property.

We're interested to find out

whether the results will
bear out anything anomalous.

to the command center
to work on some stuff.

While Pete was conducting

of the ranch,
I went to my trailer

to have a videoconference with
author and renowned astronomer

Seth Shostak.

Hello, Seth. How you doing?

-Travis, good to see you.
-It's been a while.

Uh, I wanted to catch up
with you and...

Now, Seth is
the senior astronomer

for the institute known as SETI.

Which stands for the Search

for
Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

I wanted to talk to him about
the mysterious

1.6 gigahertz signal

that we've been detecting
on the ranch,

which I believe could be some
kind of communication signal.

As you know,
I'm out here as part

of this investigation
of Skinwalker Ranch.

And we're actually finding
some really weird stuff.

We're finding
optical phenomena

and all sorts of
different regimes of energy.

And even a strange RF signal
at 1.6 gigahertz.

And what I wanted to ask you

is, if I found a signal
that I thought

was
an intelligent communication,

what protocols

SETI would use

in a situation like that?

Uh, to start, you know,

verifying,
validating and reporting?

Well, there is a protocol.

In fact, I was the chair
of the, uh, committee

that revised those protocols

about five years ago.

First thing is,
if you pick up a signal that

you think might be ET,
you want to make sure it isn't

a telecommunications satellite,

it isn't the radar down

at a local airport
or anything like that.

The second thing you do is,
you tell everybody.

You would want to do that
because you want people

at other facilities

to check out the signal, too.

I see.

So, let me ask you a question.

Say we have confirmed
an optical, uh... signal.

And it's repeatable.

If you go through the process
and you...

rule out all of the...

potential, uh, logical culprits.

The microwave oven,
an airplane...

a-a satellite,
you know, those types of things.

What would be your next step
in, in, uh, verifying?

Well, as to say, uh, you know,
you're really critically

dependent
on being able to verify

the signal
at some other facility.

So, you would insist on
finding it somewhere else.

Right.

All right, Erik.

She's about to broadcast it.

Seth's suggestion

that we would want confirmation
of the 1.6 gigahertz

communication signal
at another location struck me

because that's exactly
what happened a month ago

at the Jack FM radio station

about 11 miles
north of Skinwalker Ranch.

After the station manager
and DJ, Jenn Rook,

told me and Erik that
the same kind of signal had

infiltrated their airwaves,
we decided to see what

would happen
if she broadcast it back out.

-There it is.
-Wow.

It really changed
her waveform big-time.

Well, the next day, Jim Morse

showed us some incredible

videos of UAPs
that were recorded

by people in the area
later that night.

ERIK:
Jim, When was this video taken?

Last night, about 8:00 p.m.

-Really?
-TRAVIS:
That's just a few hours

after we played that sound
on the radio, Erik.

No kidding.

Well, it sounds

as if the signal
you're picking up is

generated locally, right?

That there's something
in your immediate area

that is producing this signal.

Is that kind of what
you're suggesting here?

Yep.

So imagine,

you know,
an advanced civilization

wanted to communicate

in real time,

what type of phenomenology
or telltale signs

might SETI look for?

If it's really coming
from another society,

it would be in one direction.

And that's kind of the clue,

that you would see it coming
from that direction on the sky.

I think that's exactly
what I wanted to hear, Seth.

It was interesting how Seth,
a highly accredited scientist

who researches
the potential for ET life,

believed the type
of communication signal

we've detected would come from

a specific direction,
because that's

exactly what
happened on the ranch.

Go back the other way.

Five weeks ago, when we detected

the 1.6 gigahertz signal,

it came from a specific spot.

It's coming back.
Right there, right there, stop.

Where we had just launched
a rocket near Homestead Two.

-So it's very directional.
-Yeah.

Are you kidding me?

And then, later that night,

Erik recorded an incredible UAP

moving around the homestead.

We can't be for sure
if that communication signal

we've detected was
what led to the UAP appearing,

or if it represents
more evidence

that portals could really exist

on Skinwalker Ranch,
but talking with Seth

just makes me more convinced

that we are getting closer
to some answers.

That's a pretty picture of the
mesa that you got there, Erik.

Oh, you, you
are gonna enjoy this.

TRAVIS:
The day after
Pete Kelsey conducted

his photogrammetry scan
of the ranch,

he sent Erik all of his
compiled data files

for us to review.

ERIK: Well, I've got only
about a billion data points.

Of course this comes out of Pete
Kelsey's recent survey work.

This is
a three-dimensional model.

It's point-cloud data.

What it is,
is individual points that

have been located through
a complex algorithm

coming out
of all these thousands

of pictures that he's taken.
So you take all those images,

you stitch them together
and you get a three-dimensional

-model. Oh, yeah.
-That's incredible.

Yeah, so, I've
been diving into this.

And turns out there are some

very interesting artifacts
showing up.

-Whoa! I just saw one.
-You might. Did you see it?

-Yeah. In the sky.
-Okay.

-KALEB: Oh. Right there.
-ERIK: Yes!

-TRAVIS: Oh, weird.
-ERIK: Yes.

THOMAS:
That looks like that's a whole

-bunch of points right there.
-Oh, it is.

Well, what would cause it to
do that if that's up in the air?

That's the question.

Look at this structure.

This phantom structure
that's sticking up in the sky.

-TRAVIS: This is odd.
I got to tell you...
-ERIK: There it is.

TRAVIS:
Wow, that thing is really
prominent from here, it's like,

-it's a...
some sort of big feature.
-ERIK: Yeah.

ERIK:
You know, it looks more
than a hundred feet in the air.

That's nuts.

ERIK: One way of interpreting
this is to say

that the drone did not,
uh, properly register

its correct GPS position
when it took the pictures.

-Were you thinking that?
-I was, I was about to suggest

that we've had such trouble
with those drones

and their GPS coordinates
being spoofed,

-hacked or jammed.
-ERIK: Yes. Yes.

What if it thought it was

somewhere else
when it took those pictures?

-But you've
got tens of positions.
-ERIK: Correct.

TRAVIS:
That-that should
cancel itself out.

Well, you'd have to have

a lingering condition
in that space

that causes
some sort of displacement,

some phantom displacement
of the reckoned position,

the measured position
of the drone in the sky.

TRAVIS:
What's so strange here is,
if the GPS

was being spoofed
for the whole survey,

the final photogrammetry image
would be a big blur.

That's not
what's happening at all.

This one specific spot
over the ranch is confusing

the photogrammetry data
and confusing it from a number

of different angles,
which makes me think there's

something really strange
about this particular area.

ERIK:
Another interpretation might
be if you did have some kind

of translucent effect
or object in the sky,

then I suppose
it might also cause

the algorithm
to perceive those pixels,

whose color comes
from the ground, as being

you know, somewhere else,
up in the air.

Has Pete seen this before?
Did you ask him?

That's the other important
point. I've connected with Pete

and I've also spoken with the,

the vendor of this software,

asking, "Is this common?"

And the answer that
I've gotten is, "No."

Really?

This is not a common thing

in the terrestrial surveys
like this.

Are there any other areas
in his survey

that have this
sort of artifact to them?

Yes.

I want to show you
something at another location

that we've visited
that is part of this survey.

-Okay.
-Okay?

TRAVIS:
This is right above
the petroglyph area, right?

-THOMAS: Yes.
-It is.

Just on the edge
of our property.

-TRAVIS: Right.
-ERIK: And you'll recognize

-the stone circle here.
-TRAVIS: Yeah.

ERIK: And the feature
that I want to show you

is actually
very close to this stone circle.

-See what's hap-- there you go.
-BRYANT: Oh, there you go.

Right there.

ERIK:
So let me spin us around.

-I noticed a couple things here.
-Well, now look at this.

ERIK:
And-and you may observe
the same thing I have.

TRAVIS:
Yeah, so line those two up,

and where are they pointing?

ERIK:
This feature, this artifact,

the largest stone that was part
of the, of the stone circle

and that prominent thing
that's jetting up,

you know, further to the south.

You have three points in a line.

THOMAS:
Wow.

ERIK:
Interestingly
and somewhat mysteriously,

the anomalies
to the south and to the north

of the stone circle
align perfectly

with that large center stone
in the stone circle itself.

Could be a coincidence,
but it sure is suggestive.

-What are the odds of that?
-ERIK: Right.

We've learned not to ignore
any anomalous features

in our data even if we have
no idea what to make of them.

TRAVIS:
So that, to me,
seems like you've almost

drawn a ray from
the other anomaly

-through this stone...
-Yeah, yeah, yeah.

...to this, this anomaly.

If we've got
a line being drawn here,

then what is
that line pointing to?

What is the line there for?

We need to mark these spots

because, you know,
what if this is

somehow mapping an anomaly
that we need to investigate.

You remember last year
when we had that expert out,

he said that the petroglyph
was depicting a portal.

So, I mean,
if we're getting way out there,

that pillar's alignment with it
kind of looks like,

in the data points, a spiraling
thing, portal-type feature.

That's interesting.

Last year we had
Dr. Alan Garfinkel

come out to examine some
petroglyphs we'd discovered

on the east side of the property

right by the location

of this strange aerial
anomaly that we're seeing.

What I'm looking
at is these curves.

It's a metaphor for
a serpent or a snake.

Snakes represents
two different worlds,

so it's a guardian
to the portals.

The portal is
a window into the supernatural.

TRAVIS:
Dragon is right about
the petroglyphs near this area,

but this strange structure
in Pete's photogrammetry data

is right above a mysterious
spiral of boulders on the mesa.

I'm thinking there's
definitely something here.

TRAVIS:
And earlier this year, Navajo
expert and historian John Dover

told us this feature may have
been constructed by ancient

Indigenous people to represent
a very specific phenomenon.

JON: Looking at this place
in its entirety,

it struck me as a holy place.

We have basically
a spiral right here

that's been
put into this ground here.

That spiral is indicative of...?

A portal,
a dimensional rift, an opening.

THOMAS: We have
so much data pointing that

there is something up
in the sky going on.

And I honestly,
I'm not so sure that

that petroglyph isn't
telling us that there's

-something in the sky
over the ranch, you know?
-Right.

Because that's
what it looks like.

Could Pete Kelsey have actually
captured visual evidence

that there really are portals
on Skinwalker Ranch?

And could it help explain
why we see UAPs appear

and then suddenly disappear?

Well, we owe it to
ourselves to follow up

on every data anomaly
that we come across,

particularly
when they're as prominent

as the ones
we're looking at here.

Erik, the data is
absolutely fascinating.

We need to meet
with Brandon and review this

and everything else
we've learned this year.

the formality of this research
and how important it is.

Best known
as the leading journalist

the reality of not only

the ranch,
but this type of phenomena.

by the way, you have

a really beautiful state,
but it's an awfully weird state.

from what's taken place.

to find out what's happening
within our borders, by the way,

but for America and the world.

Yes, absolutely.

I think the best thing to do
would be,

uh, let's just start.

We've done so many experiments,

captured so much video,
so much measurement data,

of unidentified aerial
phenomena.

We've seen so many this summer

with the various experiments
that we've done and so many

witnesses
and instruments capturing them

that it's undeniable that
that's what we have captured.

ERIK: Um, I do have
footage that I can share.

I'm going to go ahead
and play it in real time.

TRAVIS:
We had just launched a rocket

over Homestead Two
and fortunately we did

have a camera looking
in that direction.

-HERBERT: Wow.
-THOMAS: It's unbelievable.

We saw so many this summer,

I don't know
that I could remember

accurately and go back
and count how many there's been.

TRAVIS:
The experiments we conducted
this year led

to some of the most
compelling and confounding UAP

incidents ever documented
on Skinwalker Ranch.

Using rockets, and digging

to stimulate the activity...

Whoa! What was that?

...UAPs appeared numerous
times at Homestead Two...

-Hey, look, UAP right there!
-Yep, I see it.

...and above the triangle area.

Look in the sky, y'all!

We've seen a lot of
unidentified aerial phenomena.

Some that I would say
even qualify

as unidentified flying objects.

Erik, if you wanna show them
what it is that we saw.

You'll notice this bright
object to the center moving

in a peculiar way and exhibiting
some peculiar characteristics.

This object, whatever it is,

appears brighter than Jupiter.

-HERBERT: It's clearly moving.
-TRAVIS: Yeah, and it is moving

in a different way than
a satellite would be moving.

There was no
air traffic in the area.

And you see
no navigation lights.

And it actually came toward us,

and then it made
a dogleg maneuver,

and then turned to the east.

BRYANT:
We all saw with the naked eye,
this thing.

I mean,
for lack of a better term,

it looked almost
like a flying donut.

I mean, it was bright.

And then it had
a defined dark center to it.

BRANDON:
This is a solid structure.

It was captured from
multiple camera viewpoints.

And had eyewitnesses both
on and off the ranch.

HERBERT:
It looks like
there's structure to it.

And large enough
and bright enough

that you could see it
with the naked eye.

-Yes.
-Easily.
-Sure.

This one is
the one that I would say

is not a UAP, that it's a UFO.

And, Erik has captured an odd
sound emanating from the ranch.

And we see it almost every time
one of these phenomena occur.

Hey, hey, hey,
hey, hey, it's here!

We got that 1.6 thing.

Erik, are you doing
something at 1.6?

ERIK:
I'm not broadcasting.

I swear that sounds
like a communication signal.

We see this

1.6 or so gigahertz signal

at times when we don't have eyes
on any kind of UAP, there's just

some other activity as part
of our investigation going on.

For example, drilling, digging.

Could this be a fingerprint?

Or at least the trace evidence

of the technology
that is being utilized?

That-that is a, uh,
possible speculation, Brandon,

but I would say it's one
of those correlations that

we haven't proved
that they're definitively tied

to each other,
but the statistics are really

getting hard to, uh, ignore.

I've heard these stories
about people that pick up

radio stations on the fillings
in their teeth over the years.

Uh, coming back
to the idea of frequencies,

Lue Elizondo,
who headed the AATIP program,

has indicated that there is a
frequency that they have studied

that pops up again and again
in these military

encounters with
what we'd call UAP or UFOs.

I can tell you, uh,
definitively that the UAPx guys,

they told us
specifically that they were

looking for microwaves,
so I told them,

"Just look between
one and three gigahertz,"

and they
came back to us and said,

"We had a sighting the other
night and you were right.

We picked up
something at 1.6 gigahertz."

-And this was in California.
-Wow.

So, it seems that this
1.6 gigahertz is somehow

-connected to these sightings.
-Yeah.

Well, uh, there's some
kind of electromagnetic effects.

It's always been
associated with the ranch.

Uh, when you think
you're ready to document it,

it goes somewhere else.
It plays tricks on you.

Compasses spin, batteries die,

vehicles crap out,
cameras go off-line.

And whatever this force is,

whatever the source
of the intelligence,

it shows you
that it's in charge.

It reminds me
of this recent experience...

...with Dragon and Tom Lewis.

I think it's important for...

Governor Herbert to hear

of your most recent experience,

that literally
brought you to your knees.

THOMAS:
Yeah, it was probably,

well, probably
the scariest moment,

you know, personally-- I know

-it was for you obviously, Tom.
-Definitely.

Yeah, so this day
we were drilling.

Dragon had this idea,
maybe we should go check out

Homestead Two,
see if there's any weird

readings happening there.

We go down to Homestead Two.

Everything seems normal.
We took instruments.

We'll see if anything
strange pops up and...

-keep in touch with them.
-Yeah.

This doggone
thing is broadcasting.

This thing shouldn't
be broadcasting anything.

Hey, Bryant? Tom?

Do you copy?

Yeah, I got you. Go ahead, Erik.

TOM: Erik came
on the walkie and said,

"Listen to this sound."

We've got
an RF spectrum analyzer,

which is a receiver

that seems to be broadcasting,

instead of just receiving.

Well, just
have a listen at this.

[beeping]

TOM: That sound
that was broadcast over

the radio was a set of beeps.

I heard static and,
like, a roaring train.

Are you okay?

No.

My eyes went black.

I couldn't see.

-And...
-Like you went blind?

Uh, yeah, I was
a little bit conscious still

and so I dropped to the ground

and my whole left arm was numb.

And so, at this point,
I'm scared.

I'm thinking
I'm having a heart attack.

It was, I could,
I could feel him

physically shaking.
I mean, it was...

He's in distress.

It was all I could do
to get him to my truck.

You want to go?

Yeah. Let's go.

[exhales]
I can't feel my hand.

You, like, you can't...
you can't feel your hand?

I can't feel my hand.

BRYANT:
Do you have any chest pains?

TOM:
No, but it's hard to keep...

keep my breath, it's...

TOM: And my vision
really didn't come back

until I was off the ranch.

Luckily, Bryant was there,
you know, to help me.

And, uh, what had happened

is my heart, uh,
was skipping beats.

And I had had EKGs before this

and I've never had
this issue before.

And the doctor explained to me

that it, you know, there's
nothing wrong with my heart,

but it was
an electrical problem.

-Really?
-And, yeah.

Fortunately, you know,
he's okay but,

I mean, that's,
that's the strange thing is

it affects people
so differently and people

are tuned to whatever
energy or frequency, but...

what I find, you know,
interesting and also disturbing

is it occurred,
like, literally right when...

we were hitting
the base of the mesa where

we were trying to see what in
the world is inside that mesa.

And that's
when all hell broke loose.

Which leads me
to think about this material

that we pulled
out of one hole...

while we were drilling
into the side of the mesa.

Boy, that thing sounds
like it's hitting something.

Oh, what the heck is...?

TRAVIS:
In an effort
to explore a possible tunnel

or cave system beneath the mesa,

we brought in drilling expert
Aaron Blunt,

who attempted to drill
horizontally into the mesa.

That's when his drill bit
encountered

something hard
and seemingly impenetrable.

We're coming up about
11 inches every ten feet.

So, it sounds like
you're describing kind of a V.

It could even be...
maybe a dome.

TRAVIS:
Not only was this hard object
dome-shaped...

What is that?

...it also appeared to
be 400 feet wide

-and made out of metal.
-Oh, my.

What did you think it was
when you first saw it?

I wondered if it was
like metal flakes or something.

That's exactly
the same impression I got.

But the biggest
surprise came when we had

a piece of the metal analyzed.

There are material
findings coming out of that

lateral drilling exercise,
surprising.

Completely unexpected.

I have to show you this.

I want to put them
on the table so...

I'm going to pass around

a few of the samples
of which we have

many, uh, into the hundreds

that have been taken
out of that what,

five or six-inch diameter hole?

We're talking about
a six-inch hole into the mesa.

We made it back about 420 feet.

These started coming out
as we were well into

the hundreds of feet
into the mesa.

But who knows how much of it

never came back
out of the mountain.

Erik, uh, reached out, uh,

to the local university here
and had them do

an analysis with a scanning
electron microscope and do...

precise elemental analysis
makeup of this material.

The interesting thing
about the analysis that we got:

tellurium is only on one side

and europium,
which is on the other side.

Now, tellurium
and europium are two

of the most rare materials
on the planet.

And it was fused.

Can that happen naturally?

If it were
going to be made on Earth,

it would have to be
done deep under the crust,

miles deep
in a geological process.

There's no volcanic
processes happening there

on the ranch
or in the Uinta Basin

that, uh, that we know of.

The only other natural,

uh, way to create this
would be an asteroid impact.

But what we're
missing from this asteroid is,

uh, we're missing nickel,
we're missing iridium,

we're missing some other things

that would
be there if it were an asteroid.

This bears a lot of resemblance

to things
that were made in a furnace.

As if this is

perhaps an engineered material.

TRAVIS:
You remember
the space shuttle tiles

that protected it
from heat on reentry?

This material makeup
is very similar to that ceramic.

-Wow.
-So, Governor Herbert,
let me tell you,

we did another,
probably the biggest,

most complicated,
most expensive experiment

that, uh, has ever
been done at the ranch.

We had three laser systems,

and we placed them
in a triangular position

pointed up at the anomaly
in the sky over the ranch.

And then we also had

a very large rocket system

uh, so that we could
put a payload

into the anomaly
and have it linger

as the recovery system
brought it back down

with multiple instruments.
Now...

we get ready
to do the launch and...

Brandon, tell them what
happened when we counted down

-and you pushed the button.
-The second that I pushed

the button, it literally
went up and exploded.

Push and hold.

Oh!

How high did it get...
off the ground?

Maybe 30 feet?

-So it immediately blew up?
-Yeah.

Has this ever happened before?
Any of those rockets?

They've never had
one fail like that before.

So, it's like somebody was
trying to keep us from getting

the instruments into
the place we want to put it.

So thank heavens we were
ready with other rockets.

-Yes.
-To continue the experiment.

Do you have that second launch?

So this is, in fact,
the footage of that launch,

as seen by one
of our surveillance cameras.

This takes place
at exactly the place

where we've had
so many unusual things happen.

-Is that the triangle?
-ERIK: That is the triangle.

Yes.

Erik was in the command center

and saw something.

ERIK:
Hey, Travis, you copy?

TRAVIS:
Yeah, Erik, go ahead.

If Brandon is nearby,
can you bring him in real quick?

TRAVIS:
We'll be right there.

Travis, you've got to see this.

-Okay.
-Well, there's the lasers.

-Yeah, I'm doing instant
playback. You see this?
-Oh! Yeah.

-Wow.
-What the crap is that?

This is through the lens
of a camera that is tasked

with surveying the skies.

And I'll draw your attention
to this part of the screen.

Clearly we have an object.
Something luminous moving

towards the apex of that
configuration of lasers being

broadcast upward
from the triangle.

TRAVIS: And it just, I mean,
it just goes away.

-Yeah.
-Wow.

It's important
to note that during this day,

the entire airspace

not only above the ranch,
but in the general area

within the Uinta Basin
was restricted.

Clearly,
there's no strobe on this,

but beyond that, the aircraft
transponder data receiver

that we have at the ranch
indicated no aircraft

at that location.

It's unexplained.
What is the theory

of what the explanation
could be?

Well, what if
some of the stories

that we keep hearing about, uh,
from the ancient Native tribes,

in petroglyphs that--
from all different kinds of

folks that have been
to the ranch, that there's

a portal access on the ranch.

What if that's true?
It could be what we just saw!

This may be
a particular point of interest

for a wormhole or a stargate,
some type

of interstellar interaction?

One of the stories that's
been told from the Sherman

and Bigelow era that caught
the attention of the DIA--

the Defense
Intelligence Agency--

was about a hole in the sky.

Call it a portal.

The rancher would
see these things open up,

it's dusk here,
it's afternoon over there.

It's like you're looking in

through a hole in the sky
to another place.

And he would report
things coming in and out.

Uh, craft coming in and out from
that reality to this reality.

Well, you just referenced
an anecdotal experience,

one from a credible scientist,

but no visual evidence
to accompany that.

Here we have
potential visual evidence

of some type
of interstellar activity

focused on the ranch,
some type of interaction

that is not explained
by any conventional means.

Never seen it before.

I-I've never seen
anything like it before.

And, Brandon, this next one,
you have yet to see

because it just happened to us.

-Yeah, it is so bizarre.

I think it would be a good idea
to get everyone's eyes on this.

-Absolutely.

a three-dimensional model

of Pete Kelsey's recent
survey work.

Pete scanned the entire mesa,
and look at this structure.

Wow. Incredible.

Wow!

This looks like
a solid structure in the sky.

ERIK:
Yes.

This object, whatever it is,

uh, it's really fascinating.

What are we looking at?
We don't know at this point.

Well, we need
to talk about the reality

of what we're dealing with
in this investigation.

Based on all
of these combined events,

how do we move forward?

All of this data, if we
are truly being led by the data,

and what we have documented,
how do we move forward?

What are our next steps as
a team here at Skinwalker Ranch?

TRAVIS: Well, what we can say is
perhaps one of the most

amazing treasures
might be under that mesa,

but it might also be
amazingly fragile.

And we don't want to
destroy whatever it is,

by willy-nilly
going in and-and...

-and stomping our feet around.
-ERIK: Yeah, and exactly

as Travis has explained,
we should probably take

a forensic approach
to look at this as a biopsy.

Uh, you know,
we conduct the research, uh...

very carefully,
because we don't want to destroy

the very thing we are
attempting to get eyes on.

So obviously we can't come in

recklessly and blast the side

-of the mesa.
-TRAVIS: Absolutely.
-Yeah.

Whatever we do must be

surgical,
well-planned and precise.

Is there any way

to discover
what's inside the mesa,

short of excavation?

Is there some kind of sonar,

microimaging that we can,

you can actually X-ray
the mountain?

We have used, uh,
ground-penetrating radar

to the best
of our ability right now.

Uh, we are pursuing some, uh,
space capabilities that

are just now,
new technologies coming online.

Maybe in the next year or so.

You know, there's another thing
that we need to follow up on.

We have discovered
there is some sort of anomaly

over the ranch
in a certain location

that is between 3,000
and 5,000 feet

in altitude above the triangle.

If this is a...
atmospheric anomaly

or a gravitational anomaly,

-I think we just got to
follow up on this data.
-Absolutely.

BRANDON: I think everyone would
agree that we move forward

having a multidisciplinary,
diverse approach

to really tackling this problem
set and taking the data

that drives us
in the right direction

to uncover the secret
of what lies on this ranch,

both above and below.

here's the significance for me.

You guys set up an experiment

where you have
witnesses there gathered

to conduct this experiment

and hopefully
generate a response.

You don't know
what the response is gonna be.

You don't know
if there will be a response.

And you get a response
and you document it.

It appears
we are triggering contact...

...in some way,
shape or form and...

it is manifesting itself

above the ranch
in a very profound way.

We're dealing with forces.

We're dealing with phenomena

that redefines not only

our vision of reality but
potentially even history itself.

Is Skinwalker Ranch really

at the center
of a lot of interesting things

-that are now
being brought forward?
-HERBERT: Yes, but...

it doesn't seem to be
restricted just to Utah.

-This is country-wide,
worldwide?
-BRANDON: Yeah.

GEORGE:
Well, for the last four years,

the whole world
has been on a UFO binge.

We've had major media coverage
taking it seriously

for the first time maybe ever.

Congress has dug in.

They want to fund
a permanent investigation.

A program that
would look into these things.

And all of this stuff
is traced directly

back to Skinwalker Ranch.

If not for a DIA scientist

visiting the property back

in 2007
and having an experience,

there would not have been
an AAWSAP program,

there would not
have been an AATIP program,

and the whole world would not
be on this UFO binge

that it's on right now. We don't
know where it's gonna lead,

but at least we've dragged it
out of the dark ages

and made this topic
a little more respectable

for Congress, for media,
for scientists to investigate.

It all stems back to the ranch.

you know, I was here

at the beginning
12 weeks ago, and now I'm...

I've returned
and you're reporting.

And all I can say is

the phenomena
is just overwhelming.

I'm very excited
