order them to stop,

throw down the box.

We go racing after them,
clear into town.

a running gun battle.

[ crowd murmurs ]

the original coach in four.

[ crowd laughs ]

of that battle.

At 4:00 sharp, the passengers
will board the stage.

and watch them board the stage

of Belle Starr holding the gun
with which she planned

to kill him, but didn't.

she wanted the satisfaction

of showing him her husband
was no longer illiterate.
