Be patient, it wouldn't hurt after a while

You are all useless

I have suffered this boil for months

and as an imperial doctor you have failed to cure it

in fact it's worsening

You are dragging it on intentionally

If you don't want me to live

I'll not spare you either

Sima Jun

Yes

Behead them

Mercy...

Lie down...

Behead them

Yes. Guards?

Yes

Behead them

Yes

Mercy...

Where's Yang Cheng Kun?

Here

Summon the chief imperial doctor Fu to cure me

Yes

It's late

Have some ginseng tea and rest

Thank you

What are you doing? You can't go in

How dare you barge in like this?

Our lord is sick

and you are summoned to cure him

I am appointed by his majesty;

Apart from the king I serve no one

Listen

our lord believes in you so you have been asked to go

you should know what's good for you

Get out

What are you doing?

Isn't there any law in this world?

His Highness

Lower your voice

Dr. Fu is here

Invite him in

Yes

Is there any law and order?

Don't you have any sort of respect?

Dr. Fu, please heal His Highness' boil

I cannot take any action without the king's decree

How dare you?

Sima Jun, restrain yourself

Dr. Fu is a man of great integrity,

he'd rather die than be insulted

I cannot force anything, it's destiny

Lie down...

Dr. Fu, forgive me

escort Dr. Fu back

Yes

No need

Come, men, lord...

Dr. Fu is back

Why have you returned?

I'm a doctor and hence obliged to heal people

I can't let you die

Let me look at his boil

Well?

I have only seen this sort of boil once in my life

Being the most poisonous among the 72 kinds it's called

Bai Niao Zhao Feng (100 birds worshipping the phoenix)

It is so deadly that

the poison penetrates the bones and marrow

Without the longevity rattan of a thousand years

one would die of it in 7 days

Where could we find this medicine?

A herbalist friend of mine has this medicine

He lives in Cong Long town

and a speedy horse could go and return in 4 days

Let me write a letter

and you could send someone with the letter to get it

Yes

Please compose the letter

Why do you need to mention

'the prince' is in need of the medicine?

There's something you don't know

my friend is not pleased with His Highness

if I told the truth he wouldn't give it

Please let me know how we should use the medicine

Roast it over fire then make it into powder; Then

put it on the boil & in 3 days there should be result

But you have to note that

humidity would nullify the medicine's effect

Thank you

Yang Cheng Kun

Yes

Escort Dr. Fu back

Yes

Sima Jun

Yes

I command you to

kill the insolent Dr. Fu

Go

Yes

Please wait, Dr. Fu

I am ordered to kill you

My lord, Dr. Fu's head is here

Yang Cheng Kun

Yes

Give him the letter

Yes

You must get the medicine and

return within 4 days

Yes

Wait

Yes

You'll be well rewarded after the task is accomplished

Glory and riches will be yours to enjoy

Thank you, I'm on my way

My lord, is Sima Jun

a trustworthy person for this task?

He is a loyal staff who has been with me for many years

I have no doubts

But you still need to be cautious

What do you have in mind?

Send someone with him

and monitor him

Alright, it's in your hands

Yes

Why is he so late?

Yes, a long wait indeed

Heroes, please sit

Chief Yang

has the sun risen from the west?

What a surprise, you have thought of us!

No big deal...

Since we moved into the royal court, we haven't

done anything; today we'll make ourselves useful

It's our lucky day

All the hard work proved useful in the moment of truth

There are at least a hundred heroes

like you staying in the royal court

All are waiting for an opportunity

What do you want us to do?

Tell us quickly

Stop delaying

Right, I have a task for you all

It's very important

His lordship is suffering from a poisonous boil

and needs the thousand year longevity rattan for cure

or he'll die surely

The medicine can only be found in herbalist Tan's home

Whoever gets it and saves his lordship's life

will have done a great deed

That's easy, I'll go

I'll go, I guarantee I'll get it

His lordship has already sent Sima Jun

Then stop pulling our leg

That's why you are sent to go with him

when he gets it

I don't care if you rob, steal

Or kill him

just get the medicine back to me

You'll enjoy endless riches

That's easy

Kill him on the road and have done with it

Easier said than done

Can you conquer his Dragon Missile?

You fear him?

Now hurry

Mr Sima, you're about to start the journey?

I dare not delay

Yes, it's a great responsibility

that's why his lordship has asked me to

send a few martial experts

to accompany you

Doesn't he trust me?

No, your Dragon Missile is invincible

he does trust you

He has his doubts, so he sends men to monitor me

Don't misunderstand

They will support you on the way

If you don't want them to accompany you

I'll tell his lordship, so...

No need, the more the merrier

It's urgent, let's go

This is herbalist Tan's home

Great

Wait for me in the woods

I'll get the rattan

No, let's go together

That's right

No way, Tan is a hermit

we can't rush in his home as a crowd

who'll bear the responsibility if anything goes wrong?

That's right

Let me and Jin Niu Sing come with you

That should be alright

Right, let's meet in the woods

Bring me the longevity rattan

Yes

I haven't seen Dr. Fu since long

How is he?

Going great in his old age

We're like brothers

please convey to him my regards

Sure

This rattan is a rare panacea

and is unique

please be careful with it

Old man, should your

rattan cure our lord's disease

you would be rewarded with riches

What are you talking?

It's our lord who needs the medicine, not the prince

His lordship oppresses the people

and is hated by many

I can't give him the rattan

You are mistaken, he...

Get out

Grab it

Grab it

Attack...

Attack...

Get lost

Let's go

Master...

Dad...

San Mo...what happened?

Three men came and took away the rattan

San Mo...

Well? Got it?

Yes

What happened?

This bastard shot off his mouth and almost ruined it

Got the rattan?

Yes, let's return

Who is this? So good with the light technique

He robbed the rattan

His finger power is great

It must be Iron Fingers

These are two of my teacher's techniques

Iron Fingers and the Dragon Missile

Could it be that your classmate did this?

Must be him, he lives nearby

Wait for me at the Shi Li Po Tavern

I'll go to find him

Let's go there

Brother

Er Long

Brother

Big brother

Brother

It's you

Long time no see, what brings you here?

I was passing by

and dropped in to visit you and your mom

The same old you

Is your mom well?

Yes, I am fortunate

to remain well

Take care

My regards to you

Get up, you're too kind

I hear you are the Imperial troops leader now

powerful and a valued follower of his lordship

It's good you still remember us

You embarrass me

It's just that the official service is very restraining

As compared to you mother & son, I'm much worse off

You're happy to live your own life, I'd say

You're too kind

Please sit

Oh, you didn't see each other for a long time

You two have a chat, I'll make tea

Thank you

Please sit

Brother

you must have come with a purpose

Frankly

I have been ordered to get the Longevity rattan

but someone snatched it from me in the woods

Whose daring would be so bold

as to rob it from your hands?

Could you take a look and tell me

what technique was used?

Seems like Iron Fingers - which I practise

That's why I have come to see you

What? You think I did it?

No, I am just looking for information

to see who else knows Iron Fingers

I haven't been around for a long time

and so, don't know

any experts in the martial arts world

Thank you and I bid you farewell

What's the hurry, mom's making tea

Thanks, I am staying at Shi Li Po

If you hear anything

let me know soon

I'll be most grateful

Sure

Why are you going so quickly?

I have business to take care of and can't stay

I'll drop in another time

HE'S gone?

Yes

Strange, how did they get the longevity rattan?

I believe they used force

I am worried

Son, go and check on herbalist Tan and Xiao Li

I was thinking of that too

I'll go now

Mom, Sima Jun is treacherous

Be careful

I know, go quickly

Who is it?

Sima Jun, an honest man does not deal underhand

just come out

Don't ever think of getting the longevity rattan

Even if that means

giving up my life

Er Long

Xiao Li, where are you going?

3 men came from the capital

they killed dad and took the rattan

Come along with me to seek revenge

Alright, get on

How could it be him?

Who is this?

Sima Jun

You said he went before you

Right, we've been tricked

it could be he was hiding nearby

when I left home

Could he have had the rattan?

Maybe, let's go back and see

Right, let's split up

You go home first, I'll go to Shi Li Po

Alright

You take the horse

Shi Li Po isn't very far from here

I'll get there before dawn

Careful

Mom...

Mom...

Mom...

He's back

He's back

Found it?

Did you get the longevity rattan?

Damn, I can't find my brother

He moved already

What should we do?

Get back to the capital right now

Go back empty handed?

Report back early

maybe there's another way to save His lordship

Let's go

Waiter, the bill

Coming

Damn, it's raining

Chief, we better set off tomorrow when the rain stops

Okay, let's all rest here

we'll have to be on our way before dawn

We need rooms for the night

Bring the wine

Yes

Damn, I must get the longevity rattan

Lower your voice

What?

I think Sima Jun has already got it

You saw it?

No, but I can guarantee

With what?

If he hasn't got it

why would he want to get back

at this late hour?

We must get it from him

Brother... not slept yet?

Who is it? Come in

It's me

Come in

What can I do for you?

I want to have a frank talk with you

Please sit

Do you know why our lordship

has sent you this time

with the six of us?

It wouldn't be to monitor me, would it?

Precisely

I have followed him for years, doesn't he trust me?

It isn't that

but chief Yang wants to get the credit

How?

He told us to snatch

the longevity rattan from you and to give it to him

So you have been sent by his lordship too

why tell me all this?

Tell me

I hope you could

put in a word on our behalf to his lordship

and get me an office

That's easy

I am so grateful

From now on

we are in the same boat

Let's get the rattan back together

and enjoy the rewards

Are you sincere?

By the heavens I swear

if I am not sincere, I'll die a cruel death

If you are sincere

I'll be frank with you

I've got the rattan

Really?

This is it

This is a valuable treasure

don't touch it

This is his lordship's good fortune

You'll get promoted

and my day has come too

I'll promote you to chief

Thank you...

It's such a valuable item

be careful

Miu Fei and the others also want to get it

and claim credit

Don't you want to do so?

Rest early

we still have a long journey tomorrow

Bastard, you've stolen the rattan and want to escape?

Let's go

He's got the rattan, grab him

Go quickly

Damn, this is not the longevity rattan

it's just an ordinary carrot

We've been fooled

That bastard Sima Jun tricked me

Chase

Miss, where are you going to?

Where is the Shi Li Po tavern?

That's where I am staying

I'll take you there

You are staying there, you say?

Yes

Do you know someone called Sima Jun?

Sure, I'll take you to him

Where did you get this snuff bottle?

I bought it naturally

Bullshit

This is a treasured snuff bottle of my dad's

you can't fool me

So you are Sima Jun

You've got the wrong person

He's gone already

How come you are here?

Dammit, you killed my mother,

can I not come?

Why do you accuse me of this?

You used the Dragon Missile

Don't you think I know?

Well, even I could recognise your Iron Fingers

You killed herbalist Tan and seized the rattan

You meddle with my business

Sima Jun, I must avenge my mother

Let's fight

Xiao Li, are you alright?

Might have been a sword wound

Miss, is there any place nearby

where one could rest?

Take her to the Shi Li Po tavern

So you are looking for the longevity rattan?

Sima Jun took it

I must find him

I must get the rattan

Right, let's make a deal

Inform me if you find him

I'll give you the rattan

Good, you go and seek revenge while I get the reward

We'll cooperate

It's a deal

Wait for my news here

I am going

Come

What a heavy downpour!

Let's wait till it lets up and then go

Look, Sima Jun is here

He's got the rattan

Let's think of a way to get it

Search

Nothing

Hand over the rattan...

So you've come for the longevity rattan

If you don't give it up

we'll kill you

Alright

may the best man get it

Don't fall for it

it might be a fake again

No, it's real

Lives have been sacrificed for this rattan

it's destroyed now, so nobody gets it

I'll kill you

It's over

Damn

Let's return to the capital

Yes

What? Burned? You saw it?

It was too late for us to save it

You have been tricked

The rattan must be burned to ashes

and grounded as powder before it could be used

So that's his trick

He must have collected the ashes

let's go to the temple

and get it first

Let's go

Come on

Everyone's gone

The rattan was burned here

He took it

You fell for his trick

Let's split up and chase

Right

You go by the main road and I'll take the path

Okay

Get up, look

Wait, old man

What are you doing?

Go away

Let her go...

Help...

Thank you, thank her immediately

Thank you

No need

I believe you are just passing by

I live at the Double Brook village not far from here

come and take some tea and have a rest

Yes

No need, farewell

Where are you going?

To seek revenge

Can you tackle his Dragon Missile?

You know how powerful it is

If you go like this you'll lose

One must seek revenge

But sacrificing like this is not worth it

Wait for me, let me deal with him

Could you deal with his Dragon Missile?

Fight force with tact, I have confidence

After I get the rattan

I'll steal his missile too

then he'll be no match for you, wait and see

Miss, inside please

Sir, inside please

What would you like?

A catty of wine and food to go with it

Travelling alone is so boring

I didn't expect to run into you

what a good fortune

I say this is fate

Yes, we're destined to meet

I thought all along

you are a ruthless killer

but in fact you are a mesmerizing beauty

You're naughty

There are other people here

That's easy. Waiter, bill please

The food is here

You take it, follow me

Sir

Is there a room?

Yes, inside

Xiao Li, we found Sima Jun

Miss Sha is dealing with him right now

What's wrong with you?

Why don't you seek revenge?

Not now, he has the Dragon Missile

Didn't know you were a coward

We're here to seek revenge, not kill ourselves

If we're dead there'll be no revenge

Miss, please

What is that fellow in white

doing with that woman upstairs?

Xiao Li, stop

Quiet, I ask you, what are they doing?

They are doing that thing

What is meant by 'that thing'?

He doesn't have the rattan

What about the missile?

He's crafty. I was about to steal but just then exposed

Let's go and find him

No need, I'm coming down

I don't have time to waste with you

If you don't fear death then come along

Chase

Boatman

Any boat? Boatman

Let's beat him into the water

once wet, the rattan will lose its power

Boatman

Farewell

It's the seventh day,

why isn't Sima Jun back yet?

He must come back

Mr. Sima is back

Thank heavens

My lord, I have

obtained the longevity rattan

Great, you'll be promoted to general

My lord, the rattan has been dissolved

You fool

You distinctly heard Dr. Fu say:

once in contact with water, the rattan will dissolve

and be rendered useless

You... do you want me die?

Please don't misunderstand, my lord

When I arrived at the shore

I couldn't find a boat, but time was tight

So I swam. Little did I think

You fool. Guards

Behead him

Grab him

Attack

Kill him and you'll be heavily rewarded

Chase

How can you explain...

You six are great martial artists

yet can't deal with a Sima Jun

3 dead, 2 wounded, then there's you

Damn, I'll quit at the most

and return to my old trade

If you quit,

you'll die

Don't you know that

the palace is like the hell, you can't leave alive

Are we to die here?

No

You have a chance

and if you succeed you'll each be rewarded

What chance?

There's a bounty on the head of Sima Jun

We need to act quickly though

Before his lordship dies

we must apprehend Sima Jun and get our reward

Where can we find him?

Maybe he escaped from the city

No, the city is sealed off

and his picture is up everywhere

he can't fly even if he had wings

Stand still

Go

Miss Tan

Miss Sha

Good to meet you

Before his lordship dies

whoever catches Sima Jun will be rewarded

We've gone through the whole city

and still can't find him

Let's take a look outside the city

There's a Double Brook village 5 miles west of the city

it's somewhat desolate

he might be hiding there

Double Brook village?

Double Brook village

Could you please tell me

why is this village so desolate?

Because of the new tax law issued by the Lord

Most of us can't afford it

and have departed

Have you seen any strangers these few days?

Who would come to this place?

Only a few fishermen are left

Fight force with tact

It assures victory

Right, I know how to defeat the Dragon missile

How?

Let's use cow ligaments to weave a few nets

When the missile is directed towards us

we'll use the net to catch it

thus thwarting its revolving momentum

We'll be sure to defeat it

Right, I have confidence in defeating the missile

Miss

Sister

How come you are here?

We're looking for someone

Great, go back and prepare food

I must entertain my friends

Please

Thanks

Wanted

Don't go out

Mr Sima, the officials have tightened their search

don't go out for anything, follow me

Come in

This storeroom is somewhat dirty

but you could rest here

Rest awhile, I'll get you some tea

You wouldn't betray me I hope

We are old friends

how could I do such an inhumane thing?

For all the years I have followed his lordship loyally

I never expected to end up like this

Leave him and you'll stay away from trouble

And you can start anew

Try to go south

lead a simple life as a commoner

You could still get to keep your life

Go south?

Yes, no one would recognise you there

Mr. Shum

could you get me a boat?

You'll get caught if you go out now

Rest here for a while

when the heat is off, I'll get Xiao Er to arrange it

Is he dependable?

He's been working here for a few years

His uncle is a fisherman and has a boat

Xiao Er, go to your uncle's place tonight

say I want to hire his boat

What for?

You'll know when the time comes

Don't mention this to anyone

Is it okay?

Almost

Hurry

Hurry

Thanks

You're welcome

Sima Jun?

Where is he?

At the Ju De Restaurant

Get him and I'll heavily reward you

If your information is false

I'll kill you

I wouldn't dare

He asked me to escort him out of the city before dawn

Right, I'll let you go when I get him

Yes

Let's go get Sima Jun

Wait, if we can't defeat the Dragon Missile,

we can't get Sima Jun

What do you think then?

He killed his fellow Tieh Er Long's mother

he might know how to defeat the missile

We could join with him against Sima Jun

How do we get in touch with him?

I have a plan

It's already the fifth watch, please get on board

Please

Thanks

Hurry and be careful

Get on the boat

Thanks

Let's go, boatman

Please come on board

Chase

Attack

Sima Jun, you can't leave here

We want to avenge our parents

You won't have your revenge

You can't defeat the Dragon Missile

You think the Dragon Missile is invincible

Sima Jun, we'd like to try it

Let's fight

Go inside quickly
