And wanted to be famous.

I realised whilst painting Momo,

There's something more important than valuing talent.

Properly loving the subject of your drawing.

I won't pretend to be an artist anymore.

From here, I'll work honestly with all I have.

I absolutely won't cause any trouble for you.

Receiving a lovely painting like this,

Truly makes me happy.

..This isn't really me.

Until a little while ago, I had a terrible life in Hokkaido.

My husband died two years ago,

And I came to Tokyo after so much happened.

Akira's painting of Momo won third place at the exhibition.

Whilst Eiji taught Akira about printing,

He began working at Seirinsha.
