[Fall in You]

[Episode 2]

Just now,

I was about to leave.

Then you suddenly came back.

I...

With your look like that,

I was too scared.

So I hid away.

What did I look like?

Are you very happy today?

Do you think you saw my awkward moments?

Qiao Yan.

What exactly do you want to do

by returning to the Gu Residence?

I'm just back here to visit my family.

My parents are already gone.

They left me alone.

When Grandpa came to find me,

he told me

he would be waiting for me at the house in Xijiang.

So I came back.

Your hand.

Let me bandage it for you.

No need. Get out.

If you don't treat your wound, it'll get inflamed.

If you don't let me bandage your wound,

I'll go tell Grandpa.

I promise that

after I finish bandaging it for you,

I won't tell anyone about it.

I'll go get the medical kit.

It's done.

Luckily, the wound is not deep.

You'll be fine after it's disinfected and bandaged.

Uncle,

don't be so impulsive again.

No matter what happens,

you shouldn't hurt yourself.

Okay.

Thank you.

Then you can get out now, huh?

I really don't want to inherit Gu's Group.

I'm back here

not to compete with you for anything.

But since I've just come back,

I have to

follow Grandpa's orders.

But I will find a suitable opportunity

to make it clear to him.

You don't want to inherit Gu's Group?

Do you know how many assets Gu's Group has?

No matter how many assets it has,

can my parents be bought back?

Can my home be bought back?

I don't have a home anymore.

You and Grandpa

are my only family in this world.

So I hope that

you can let your guard down,

stop being hostile to me

and truly accept me.

Because you're my family.

Rest early.

I'm going back to my room.

Oh, by the way,

don't let your wound touch water these days.

If you need to change the dressing,

come to me anytime.

Gu Jingyuan.

It was really you who stole the model.

So this is the project you made for the company?

Those several overseas resort projects are all a mess.

They're full of falsification.

Have you guys forgotten

how Director Zhou got fired?

Wang He.

Think clearly.

Though someone dared to protect Zhou Qiao,

it doesn't mean he would take extra care of you.

Mr. Gu.

There must be

some other mistakes in the process.

I've been doing the accounts

-based on the actual income of the group. -You mean I'm giving you a hard time?

No, you're not.

That's not what I mean.

Mr. Gu.

Mr. Wang is a senior member in our company.

‌Logically and emotionally,

he wouldn't do such a thing to hollow out the company.

‌Logically and emotionally?

Uncle Chen.

Is this how you judge the truth?

Jingyuan.

You joined our company late.

You haven't experienced the hardship of starting a company.

Last time,

you used tough tactics to deal with Director Zhou.

But the so-called evidence

is completely untenable.

If you insist on

laying off these old employees,

which disappoints everyone,

when Miss Qiao Yan takes over the company,

who else can she rely on?

Uncle Chen, you have a point.

Since you care so much about old relationships,

then I'll respect your choice.

Lin Ze.

Arrange a cashier position for Mr. Wang.

That's all for today's meeting.

Mr. Gu!

Um...

Mr. Chen.

Well...

After seeing my father's birthday photos,

I only have one thought now.

Hmm?

My father has always been handsome since childhood.

He

looks like your grandma.

Grandpa.

Yes?

When I was looking at the photo album,

I couldn't find Uncle Jingyuan's birthday photos.

Does he usually not

take photos on his birthday?

Oh.

Your Uncle Jingyuan never celebrates his birthday.

Why?

Yuan is an orphan.

He doesn't know his date of birth.

Gradually,

I forgot it, too.

Yuan?

Is that his old name?

Yes.

I heard that those old guys

were openly against you.

So your strategy

is drinking alone here?

Alright.

No matter what,

I'm always on your side.

No matter what you want to do,

I will help you.

The people on this list

are neither Chen Shi's men

nor loyal to the old Mr. Gu.

Go find out

[Shareholder List Information of Gu's Group]

if they are interested in working with me.

That's right.

As long as Gu Changfeng

loses the right of control over Gu's Group,

Qiao Yan will be nothing.

This is what my Yuan is like.

Mr. Gu, you're back.

Miss Qiao has ordered me

to save some food for you.

What Miss Qiao?

Oh.

Miss Qiao Yan.

It's okay. I won't eat it.

Ah.

Grandpa, look.

You have a little red flower.

Oh.

Uncle.

You're back.

Taste the red bean paste I made.

I don't eat sweet food.

Then play games with us for a while.

I still have work to do.

Enjoy yourselves.

Grandpa.

Jingyuan.

You don't need to be in such a hurry

to deal with the company's affairs.

Spending time with my granddaughter

is just the serious business.

Come here.

Hurry up.

Look.

If you randomly input six digits

into this mini program,

it'll present a blind box that belongs to you.

Miao.

There is a strongbox in Gu Jingyuan's room.

It requires not only a six-digit password

but also the owner's fingerprint identification.

I want a mini program.

As for this mini program,

I hope those who use it

can open a blind box

by inputting a six-digit password.

A very cute blind box.

No problem.

I've played this game with so many people.

No one has ever gotten a bomb.

Grandpa.

He got a bomb.

With his bad temper,

bombs are the most suitable for him.

Don't be angry, Uncle.

Taste the red bean paste I made.

By the way, Grandpa,

do you know

my father has a house model

with his name engraved on it?

Yes, I do.

With his temper,

I thought

he had thrown it away long ago.

What's wrong?

Did you bring it back here?

No.

I accidentally

lost that model.

Grandpa.

What exactly

is that model used for?

Your grandma

left it to your dad.

Meifeng was seriously ill at that time,

so she specially left a will to your dad.

According to the attached conditions of the will,

after the will takes effect,

as long as he brings the model

back to the Gu family,

he can inherit ten percent of her shares.

I see.

Gu Jingyuan's purpose

is to stop me from inheriting the shares.

Yan.

Why did you suddenly ask about this?

Oh, it's alright.

It doesn't matter if you lost it.

All my shares

will be yours in the future.

Grandpa,

why do I need so many shares?

Am I right, Uncle?

Yuan.

Are you willing to come with me?

Where are we going?

Let's go home.

Dad.

What am I

to you?

As Yan's uncle,

when I'm gone in the future,

you'll have to take good care of her

and protect Gu's business for her.

This is

your duty.

Uncle.

Happy birthday.

Today is not my birthday.

Grandpa told me about it.

He said when he adopted you,

there was no record of your date of birth.

So he has never celebrated your birthday.

After I heard that,

I was very sad.

So,

I've decided to

regard the date when you joined the Gu family

as your birthday.

That's today.

On what grounds can you

decide my birthday?

What do you want to do this time?

Since you've blown out the candles,

I'll just think we've celebrated your birthday.

What intentions can I have?

I just want you to be happy.

Because I like celebrating birthdays very much.

When I was a kid,

every year on my birthday,

my parents would celebrate it for me.

And they would prepare gifts for me.

At that time,

I thought I was the happiest girl

in the world.

Today,

you are not Gu Jingyuan.

And you're not He Yuan, either.

You're just yourself,

a person who gets one year older

and has received good wishes.

Qiao Yan, have you never suspected me?

I don't know what you are talking about.

I mean,

in order to get Gu's Group,

I killed my brother and sister-in-law.

At least, half of the people in Gu's Group think so.

Have you never suspected me?

Uncle.

We are a family.

Why would I suspect you?

What's more,

my parents died because of the brake failure.

That's the German police's conclusion.

Haven't you been thinking

why I came back to the Gu family?

I just want to

be with my family.

I wish you

a happy birthday.

Thank you.

Uncle.

Uncle.

People tend to use their most familiar digits

as the password.

That was why I asked you to design

that mini-program game for me.

As long as we can get the digits in Gu Jingyuan's mind,

the password of the strongbox must be among them.

I even mentioned the model

in front of him that day.

From the perspective of psychology,

people tend to make mistakes more easily

when they are nervous.

Gu Jingyuan input eight combinations of digits in total.

[System]

Apart from the first two perfunctory combinations,

there are six valid combinations.

It's not the stock code of Gu's Group

or the date of merging with Yongjia Real Estate.

Could it be...

the date when Gu Jingyuan joined the Gu family?

The password is correct.

Please scan your fingerprint.

Do you really think I would believe you?

Since the day when you returned to the Gu family,

I knew something was wrong with you.

Then why have you waited till now?

I wanted to see

what the old Mr. Gu's dear granddaughter,

who's also the future heir of Gu's Group,

was really capable of.

Yes.

I'm not as capable as you.

So, in order to get the right to inherit Gu's Group,

you could just kill my parents?

You are such a villain!

Qiao Yan.

Are you so eager to know

what evidence of murder

is kept in my strongbox?

Fine.

I'll let you take a look.

I'll let you take a good look at

what I am hiding exactly.

You'd better know what you've done.

[Gu Jingyuan]

[Gu Hai]

Every child of the Gu family

has a model like this.

Are you done?

Get out.

Is Gu Jingyuan

really not the murderer?

Well,

I can't trust him just like that.

Hello?

How is it?

Gu Jingyuan found out about me.

This is not okay.

You have to come back now.

This is too dangerous for you.

Before I find out about the truth,

I can't come back.

If Gu Jingyuan is really the murderer,

he won't spare you.

But I'm just afraid he won't do anything.

As long as he dares to hurt me,

I'm sure there will be flaws.

Good morning, Grandpa.

Yan.

Sit down and eat.

Uncle.

I want to sit in your seat.

I want to sit next to Grandpa.

Dad, eat more.

Here you are.

Uncle, you're in a good mood today.

My family celebrated my birthday for me last night.

Of course I'm happy.

I thought

you were only interested in the company's affairs.

I didn't expect you to care about such trivial things as birthdays.

It's certainly not a trivial thing.

I made a wish that your wish could come true

and our family could be together forever.

My parents in Heaven will certainly

bless us to fulfill our wishes.

Why are you two talking so much with each other today?

The food is getting cold.

Dad, I'm full.

I'm going to work.

Wait.

I have to go out to deal with something.

Give me a ride.

Grandpa, I'm going out.

Enjoy your meal.

Okay.

Go.

Qiao Yan, are you done?

So you have a guilty conscience?

I didn't expect you to be so bold.

There are many things you didn't expect.

Hey, Uncle.

I've never been to the company since I came back.

If it's convenient,

take me to walk around there today.

Qiao Yan, let me tell you.

No matter what trouble you cause at home,

I can just forgive you.

But if you dare to do anything to the company...

What?

You'll kill me, too?

I'll tell you this again.

Don't waste your time on me.

This matter is not like what you think.

Uncle.

You're so fierce.

If you are so fierce,

I don't dare to let you give me a ride.

What if

you die with me later?

Get out of my car.

Yan.

You have to put the tracking device I gave you

in Gu Jingyuan's car.

By analyzing his tracks,

we can foresee his actions.

[Haohua Club]

Haohua Club.

Gu Jingyuan appears here every day.

There must be something wrong with this place.

Now Gu Jingyuan

has taken control of half of Gu's Group.

Let alone me,

even Grandpa can't take actions

against him easily at the risk of the company's turmoil.

Unless

I can get the evidence of Gu Jingyuan

playing tricks secretly.

Tell him to wait.

Sir, I'm sorry!

Sir, I'm sorry.

It's okay.

Sir, your clothes are dirty.

Let me take them to the dry cleaner for you.

No need.

Sir.

This place is full of cameras.

If I let you go like this,

I'll be fired.

Help me stall the guest in Room 206

for five minutes.

Hey, wait.

I don't want to drink this type of wine today.

Replace it with an Australian brand.

It's been a long time since we last met.

Help me.

I miss you, dear.

Why did that person chase you?

Do you want me to call the police for you?

I'm sorry.

I mistook you for someone else.

These shareholders

are all interested in your proposal.

[Shareholder List Information of Gu's Group]

In this way,

the power of Chairman Gu and Chen Shi

will be greatly weakened.

Only we can benefit from it.

Aren't they afraid the old Mr. Gu will find out?

They were worried at first.

After all, the old Mr. Gu's authority still remains.

But basically,

it's all for money.

What's more,

Qiao Yan is back, isn't she?

I told them

because of Qiao Yan,

you had made up your mind

to split up with Chairman Gu,

and you were determined

to get Gu's Group.

All these years,

you've been working so hard for Gu's Group.

It was Gu Changfeng who treated you unfairly first.

Yuan,

what should we do next?

[Thursday, April 25]

The bait has been released.

Let's just wait for the fish to take the bait.

Grandpa.

Are Uncle Jingyuan and Director Lu quite close?

When they were kids,

they stayed in the same welfare house.

Later, Mr. Gu Jingyuan

picked her up from the welfare house

and sent her abroad to study.

After graduation,

she joined Gu's Group.

I see.

How did you get this video?

Grandpa.

The most important thing now

is what you're going to do.

Grandpa.

In the past,

perhaps you trusted Uncle Jingyuan the most.

But now that I'm back alive,

maybe everything is different.

You don't trust him?

He personally said that he was plotting against you

and against Gu's Group.

Does it matter whether I believe him or not?

Then what do you want to do?

I want to work in the company.

I want to investigate Gu Jingyuan.

Yan.

Yan...

I mean,

in order to get Gu's Group,

I killed my brother and sister-in-law.

Yan...

Yan...

It's so late now.

What's the matter?

I'm here to return something.

I saw someone today,

who looked quite similar to you.

But she left in a hurry

and dropped something.

What is it?

Is it yours?

It's not mine.

Don't let me find out about you again.

You're just bluffing.

I'm not afraid of you.

I must catch you.
