and our Blockheads are tackling

the largest rooms we've ever had
on The Block.

No word of a lie.

The four spaces range
from 67 to 107 square metres each.

Ceilings up to 7m high.

Huge.

Twenty-four hours to reveal.

We have got the brick laying
to be finished.

Plastering to be sanded.

About 100L of paint that's
gotta go on.

Tiling that's gotta go on.
Downlights. All electricity.

Got all the electrical to be
fitted on.

Just take it all the way around.

We've pretty much got to build
a whole room.

OZ: Saturday was the full crew.

Everything had to hit on time.

seem up against it

but Dylan and Jenny
are in better shape.

I think at the end of it
when you actually look at it,

it would have looked
really great but...

I'm trying to keep everyone
in the zone of reality here.

The vastness of the shape that

of the timber beams was phenomenal.

The fact that these ceilings
are painted that well is amazing.

Like, it's a phenomenal amount
of effort.

And it's such an extraordinary
volume of space.

He absolutely smashed it.

I mean, I don't wanna brag but I did

all the cutting in around
the windowsills and the skirts.

But anyway, this isn't about me.

the dining chairs and table.

And I feel like there's
this vast space

with a couch that's too small.

I just feel, because of the scale
here, something bigger,

something grander.

And there's an eyesore.
It's really very distracting.

I was wondering why the clock
is sitting there in the middle.

To hide the cable.

It's so out of sync
with how refined this house is.

To me, those elements
just work together.

And that stonework, obviously it
still needs to be grouted.

We're in another hunting lodge.

Well, we've got

But I sort of feel from there down
it falls away.

She found it to be lacking ambience.

Some of the same elements
that they'd just seen in house two

but they just don't add up
to the same level of success.

A lot of people will look at
this area that we're in now

and think well, it's the same sofa
that you all loved next door.

You know, so how can one be so good
and the other not?

But it is how you use these elements

and it's the relationship between
the zones, the spaces.

I mean, looking at
that dining table,

from this angle actually
it looks quite magnificent.

But it's very cold.
It's quite austere.

It needed a huge rug underneath it.

What's lacking here are the things
that make a house a home.

It needs bookcases.
Yeah.

It needs more artwork.

"It just needs more paraphernalia.
Some big lamps.

"Anything to make it
feel more homely."

It doesn't gel.
It doesn't feel like a home to me.

And this artwork on the wall, yes,
it's impressive but again, to

me that doesn't feel like something
you would have in your home.

That feels like something you would
see in a commercial space.

I feel like I'm in the lobby
of a hotel.

It feels like these spaces
are now too big.

It's almost defeated them.

have been a crushing amount of work

but I feel like they've picked
the wrong piece of art for it

with colours that don't even

The individual elements here
are lovely.

We all love the couch
that you're sitting on.

The dining table certainly
is magnificent.

It's an impressive piece.

These chandeliers are perfect.

There's a lot to love here
but they've

got to rethink the relationship
between all these elements.
