Whirlwind Girl 2

- Episode 6 -

Go Bai Cao! Go Bai Cao! Go Bai Cao!

Brother, are you okay?

Senior Ting Hao! Are you okay?

I'm okay.

Ting Yi, why are you fighting at someone else's hall?

-Go back with me. -I'm not going!

If you don't make your words clear today then I won't leave.

Brother, tell me.

Why did you abandon your own sister and become Song Bai's Coach?

-Let's talk about it when we go back. -FANG TING HAO!

Stop decieving others. The reason why you came to Song Bai,

did you really think no one knew it?

Qi Bai Cao already cheated Chu Yuan brother of his feelings.

- I can't let her cheat your's, too! - Ting Yi!

Ting Yi! Stop messing around!

I never messed around.

For you, my brother gave up the family business,

abandoned Xian Wu Hall,

and even abandoned this biological sister!

Today, in front of everyone, I'll have you clearly tell me and my brother,

if you have feelings or not for my brother!

Senior Ting Hao is just Senior Ting Hao,

we are all thankful for his help and care.

I also cherish the friendship between me and Senior Ting Hao,

but between me and him, there are no other feelings!

Bai Cao already made it really clear,

even I understood.

She has absolutely no interest for Fang Ting Hao.

And the person that Senior Ting Hao likes isn't me at all!

You're saying that the person my brother likes isn't you?

-He- -TING YI THAT'S ENOUGH!

Now there is only one thing inside my head.

And that is getting into the National Youth Competition, promoting Song Bai,

because that was what I promised Senior Ruo Bai.

Why did you help protect me from Qi Bai Cao's kick today?

You thought I couldn't withstand it.

You're the same as them. You all think that I'm not better than her, right?

I've made my choice. I need to be better.

I need Qi Bai Cao to look down and give up.

I need to prove myself again.

I have to take back all that belonged to me!

What do you need to prove?

You want to prove to who?

You have the best talent and the best sources.

Even though there is someone ahead of you now,

you only need to train hard. There will always be a day when you can come back strong.

There will always be a day... There will always be a day is which day?

I can't wait any longer. What does Qi Bai Cao count as?

I have to take the least amount of time and become the best.

I need everyone to know,

the best Yuan Wu Dao female athlete...

is only me, Fang Ting Yi!

Training has training's rules.

You have to go step by step. How can you help what's not meant to be helped and advance in a short time?

How is it impossible?

Didn't you achieve it before?

You wanted to fight Brother Chu Yuan so you went to train at Feng Yun.

Coming back, you were already a war god?

If you can do it, why can't I?

What do you mean?

You're going to Feng Yun, right? I DON‘T ALLOW IT!

Why?

Because of Qi Bai Cao.

Because you don't want your own sister to defeat the person you like, right!?

Ting Yi, you are my sister.

I don't want that kind of training method to ruin you.

Don't you think, now it's you and Qi Bai Cao together,

ruining my life?

Qi Bai Cao already cheated Chu Yuan brother's feelings.

I can't let her cheat your's either!

To cry here because of such a thing, do you really think that's necessary?

Coach Chang An.

All this time, wasn't your dream to win the National Youth Competition?

Yes!

Let's go.

To win temporarily, doing something like this, do you think it's worth it?

What about you then? Do you think it's worth it?

To be so caring and protective about a girl that doesn't even like you.

Is it worth it?

In the past, I thought it wasn't worth it.

Not worth that much.

But when I wanted to forget her,

to start liking someone new,

I realized... I can't control any of these things.

So you have to be stubborn like Ruo Bai.

To give it your all like Ruo Bai.

Hoping that she'll leave some room for you in her heart?

I don't know if there's room for me in her heart.

But I do know that there's no room in my heart for anything else anymore.

But this doesn't mean you.

You are my little sister.

I don't want you to be hurt.

We are siblings,

I felt the same way about Chu Yuan.

There was someone else in his heart, I already knew.

But I just can't let him go.

But brother, have you ever understood me?

You thought that I wanted to quickly become stronger,

was only because of wanting vanity...

just because of Qi Bai Cao.

But this isn't everything.

I've always respected you ever since I was young.

You got all of Yuan Wu Dao's championships.

To accomplish things that some people can't even do in their lifetime.

Having a brother like you, I'm extremely proud.

However...

Because of Chu Yuan backing out,

Ruo Bai's death, you already saw the results of the competition.

You chose to back out, but I can't do that.

Martial arts practitioners, is there such a person?

I... must stand back up..

This is my decision.

-Sis--Brother!

I don't stop you when you want to do something because I don't want you to regret it.

So now, don't stop me. OKAY!?

[Song Bai Academy]

Bai Cao!

- Bai Cao! - Little Grass!

Look, your newest opponent is out!

This is your competition opponent!

Jia Teng Ying Bai He.

They look so similar, almost exactly the same! Are they twins?

Jia Teng Ying Bai He was the champion last year.

Compared to Jia Teng Xiao Bai He, her moves are more focused on the Sakura Spin.

Learning from the age of 3, the speed in which she spins is extremely shocking.

Jia Teng Ying Bai He,

Her feelings towards winning is like that accomplishing the Sakura Rain attack

But she's a well known.

So, sometimes she can't control her own strength.

These years, the number of people that have lost to her cannot be counted.

There are many that got hurt, too.

I feel like this Jia Teng Ying Bai He is here to take revenge for her sister.

She might be more aggressive when fighting against Bai Cao.

What if Bai Cao gets injured by her?

But to Bai Cao, the bigger challenge is probably between her and Ying Bai He's similarity.

Similarity? That's right.

Because Bai Cao and Ying Bai He are both known for Whirlwind Kicks.

Ying Bai He's Sakura Kick is her big skill.

Sakura Kick has the opponent as the focus point. With 5 petals as positions.

Every position has a 360 degrees spin. Using the Double Kick while spinning. Also，

the spinning speed can reach half a circle per second. Height controlled at 130cm (4"3 in)

Exactly around most competitor's chest.

So according to mathematical estimations, Jia Teng Ying Bai He's technique happens to be Bai Cao's nemesis.

Jia Teng Ying Bai He can complete spinning half a circle in a second, 540 degrees.

And according to my statistics, up till now, the most Bai Cao can spin per second is one and one sixth, 420 degrees.

No matter how Bai Cao kicks, Ying Bai He will always be one step ahead of her.

Competing against her, Bai Cao basically has no chance of victory.

The information is really detailed, huh?

Hello, everyone! The much anticipated Pretty Girls Tournament at An Yang's finals will be here this Saturday.

Who are the final round's participants?

One, is Song Bai Hall's Whilwind Girl, Qi Bai Cao!

And the other, Sakura Spin's master, Jia Teng Ying Bai He!

As everybody knows, Bai Cao's Whilwind Triple Kick can be described as superior and the culmination. Up till now, has not been defeated.

Let us look forward to her wonderful performance.

The Whirlwind Triple Kick, actually isn't a hard skill.

It is actually not hard to learn.

The Whirlwind Triple Kick's main point is focused on the jump's height and the ability to control the leg's strength in the air.

Bai Cao, can you teach me the Whirlwind Triple Kick?

The key to the Whirlwind Triple Kick lies in the height of your jump, and the way you control your leg in the air.

First, you have to use strength at your waist, then support with your legs.

This is actually the ability to jump to your desired height while spinning's main point.

If you nail this, you can maximize the effect of the third kick.

Actually, being able to kick the third kick, is not that big of a deal.

The reason why your Whilwind Triple Kick is so great is because of the hight you're able to jump to. Great strength.

So you can score points, even can let the triple kick become an effective attack. Even can let three kicks all become

an effective point-scoring skill at the opponent's abdomen, chest, and head.

It's sad though.

How the audience thought it was Yuan Wu Dao's super Whirlwind Triple Kick. In our Ying Hua Liu's eyes, it is nothing more than this.

We've already got a way to crack it.

At the finals, I will be cracking your Whilwind Triple Kick on site. Defending our Ying Hua Liu's pride.

Okay, see you at the finals.

-What are you doing? -Spill it. Was it you that betrayed Bai Cao?

-I didn't! -And Bai Cao even treated you just like her own sister.

How can you not be responsible for your doings! I heard very clearly.

Jia Teng Ying Bai He's tips for the Whirlwind Triple Kick were exactly the same as what you said. It must have been you!

– I... – Guang Ya!

– You doing this is a bit excessive, isn't it? – That's right!

–You betrayed our friend. – You disappoint us!

It wasn't Guang Ya!

Guang Ya wouldn't do that! I always used the Whirlwind Triple Kick in my competitions.

If people want to look into it, all you have to do is look at the recordings.

Bai Cao, can you not always be so nice?

The movements are exactly the same, but how can the tips be exactly the same?

You said Bai Cao gave me a few tips on the move, how did you know?

Why are you still pretending to be confused?

I heard it very clearly, I was right next to you guys.

You said yourself you heard it clearly, so the person who gave away the secret might be you!

How could it be me? Bai Cao is my very best friend. There is no way I would never betray her!

Is a being very best friend special?

Bai Cao and I have the best sisterly relationship!

Best sisters? More like Bai Cao is the person you hate the most!

Ting Hao dating with you is just a lie.

He still likes Bai Cao.

That's why you hate Bai Cao, jealous of Bai Cao.

So you purposely sold out on Bai Cao, right?

Xiao Ying, Guang Ya wouldn't do that.

Why would she not?

You think I'm saying nonsense?

Yang Rei, tell everyone what you saw.

After the conference, I came out and saw Guang Ya with the Jia Teng sisters.

- Thank you. (Japanese) - No, no need.

I told you, witness and evidence is all here. How are you going to continue making stories?

You.. You guys...

-You guys... -Guang Ya,

I believe you.

Enough! Xiao Ying is right.

I'm jealous of you, I hate you!

- The feelings that I want, you all take away!

Guang Ya!

Guang Ya!

Guang Ya!

Stop pretending!

You should be hating me.

Guang Ya, I know it's not you.

It was me who tattled.

I was the one who gave away the secret of the Whirlwind Triple Kick to the Jia Teng (Japanese: Kato) sisters.

No, I don't think so.

I don't think you did.

Why do you trust me so much?

It's because I understand you.

Guang Ya, we grew up together.

I know your personality and your nature. You have a soft heart even though you act prickly.

I know you can't hide your emotions.

Just like when you got angry with me just now, you let me know right away.

You don't like hiding things,

but I also know you won't do anything to hurt me either.

That year when I was kicked out of Quan Sheng,

you seemed mean, but you still stuffed some money for me.

-Bai Cao. -Guang Ya,

I am certain you did not reveal the secret of Whirlwind Triple Kick to the Jia Teng (Kato) sisters.

You said that you tattled only because you were mad at me,

and you were scared that I wouldn't believe in your innocence.

Bai Cao,

I am not really mad at you.

Growing up, I was bullied because of what my father did.

You were the only person who stood up for me.

You put up with me even when I said mean things.

Moreover, I have never been jealous of you.

I am happy for you when you do well.

It's just that---

-It's just... -I know what you are trying to say.

I apologize.

No, you don't need to.

Come back with me, okay?

Everyone felt that you were one of us, so that's why they overreacted.

It'll be fine if we explain.

You should stop feeling bad. Teacher isn't at An Yang.

We should take care of each other even more, right?

Guang Ya.

Bai Cao.

This is what really happened--

This is a book that my father sent over. He wants me to give it to your mother.

He said, thanks for Ying Hua Liu's invitation,

he will definitely schedule a time to go and visit.

-Thank you very much. -No problem, no problem. You're welcome.

So that's the real story.

Sorry for misunderstanding you, Guang Ya.

Sorry.

Then if it isn't Guang Ya, who would it be?

Anyways, it isn't Guang Ya.

Okay. Guang Ya, sorry.

I shouldn't have suspected you.

Guang Ya, Yi Feng isn't here, so I'm the most senior student.

Then, I will lead the apology, please forgive us.

No, no.

It was normal to misunderstand given the circumstances.

Let's go practice!

Xiao Ying!

Guang Ya, are you planning not to tell Bai Cao about you and Ting Hao?

What about you? Why didn't you tell her?

I felt sorry for Ting Hao.

He liked Bai Cao so much, but...

You are pretty good.

Then why don't you chose a different person to like-

If it were that easy... that would be good.

I felt jealous when you immediately took Guang Ya's side when I was arguing with her earlier.

Between Guang Ya and me, who do you consider your best friend?

You, of course.

But you grew up together with Guang Ya, so she should be more important. Isn't that right?

Xiao Ying.

Xiao Ying, look.

I have been wearing this since I was little.

It's the only memento from my childhood.

I want you to have this as a token of our friendship.

No, I can't take it.

This is important to you, so keep it.

But you are a very important person to me.

No, I can't take it.

-What about me? -Guang Ya.

I'll take it.

– Bai Cao, here. – Thank you.

But I know this thing is very important to you. I will give it back in a month!

- I'll gift it to you. - For one month~

-Big awkward...-Hmm?

-Do you want me to let you borrow this for two days? -Hmm...

No need.

The relationship between Bai Cao and I doesn't need anything to prove it.

-Cheers! -Then you should bring a scale and see who's importance weighs more in Bai Cao's heart.

I don't want to weigh with you! Of course, you'll weigh more!

Hey! I'm talking about importance, not weight!

For weight, you're heavy; but for feelings, I'm heavier. [zhong is homophone for importance/depth and heavy]

-I'm not going to fight on common sense with you. -It's me that's not going to fight on common sense!

But back to the point, no matter who told the secret of the Whirlwind Triple Kick, how should you fight in the future?

Even if the best skill has been used multiple times, it will still be solved by others.

Only if you continuously think of ways to improve yourself, will you defeat those never ending strong opponents.

He's right.

Senior Ting Hao, you think that way, too?

Those people that are stuck in what they believe will only end up with nothing.

Situations can change and every problem has a solution.

Bai Cao, your Whirlwind Triple Kick has been broken down by someone,

then the one who broke down your Whirlwind Triple Kick, will also have someone else break down their move.

What? What is Senior Ting Hao saying?

Why does it feels like a tongue twister?

Senior Ting Hao's meaning is that he has a way to help Little Grass (Bai Cao) defeat Jia Teng.

Senior Ting Hao, what method?

The method is easy. Only two words:

Speed.

Speed? -Mm

Speed.

-Line up according to to the team's formation! -Yes!

This is the training method I have especially planned just for you.

In a while I will turn on some music. They will shoot arrows according to the music's beat.

And your goal is to kick every single arrow.

-However! My music, will spontaneously change. -Mm.

What are you doing just standing there? Start!

Pay attention to the rhythm!

Bai Cao!

Bai Cao.

The purpose of training is to increase your speed.

As long as your speed is faster than Jia Teng Ying Bai He,

then she can't break past your Whirlwind Triple Kick.

I will work hard to make myself faster.

Continue!

The spinning speed has increased from 420 degrees per second to 480 degrees per second.

Compared to Jia Teng Ying Bai He, you only need 1/6 of a circle!

Fighting!

Senior Ruo Bai,

my Whirlwind Triple Kick... has been solved by my new opponent.

The opponent seems to be really powerful.

When I first found out that the move was solved, I felt lost and sad.

Because... the one who guided and trained me for the Whirlwind Triple Kick was you.

♫ My tears are more honest than me ♫

♫ More frightening than separationMissing you is like severe floods and vicious beasts ♫

-But I still have so many friends. ♫ They engulf me, ♫

-They are by my side, ♫ but keep me company ♫

-helping me together. ♫ They lick my wounds gently ♫

Just like...

♫ There is a heart that relies heavily on you ♫

Just like how you used to be by my side.

So I believe...

the difficulty this time...

I can definitely overcome.

Every point-scoring race's champion title,

I must get it. That way,

I can see you again, right?

Subtitles brought to you by The Gone with the Shirt Team @ Viki

This- after you've spun you wouldn't die from dizziness, right?

Probably not,

you will directly puke to death.

Yang Rei, look at these girls, what even?

It's a small case!

So easy...

Your turn.

Yes!

Coach Chang An, a toy as cute as this, is there really the need to handle it so seriously?

Fellow audience,

SHOWTIME!

Don't puke.

Hold on tightly with both hands, never let go. Understand?

Okay, don't worry.

AHHHH!

-Save me! -Sheng Nan are you okay?-No, I'm not! I'm not!

-Sheng Nan! -Quiet!

-Save me! Coach stop this! -Didn't you say

this is only a toy.

No need to worry.

-But Coach- -Coach stop it, help!

Sheng Nan!

Look, how many fingers?

So smelly.

Coach Chang, what kind of training is this?

So intimidating and scary.

This is called rolling wheel training.

It can raise your spinning ability. But it requires a lot of endurance.

You guys all saw, anyone else want to try?

Is there really no one that wants to try?

Coach!

I want to try it.

-No, you can't Bai Cao. -Bai Cao.

Have you really thought it through, Bai Cao?

Since I have to become the champion of An Yang's Tournament, I still need to beat Jia Teng Xiao Bai He.

No matter what kind of training, I must try it.

- Bai Cao! - Bai Cao.

If you turn back now, it's not too late to stop.

This is my own decision.

Start it.

Bai Cao.

It's too dangerous Bai Cao. Come down.

That's right.

Are you ready?

Bai Cao!

Bai Cao!

Quiet!

Stop!

[75 more days until the National Youth Competition]

[Bai Cao ranks number 51]

[Distance from being the top 10 still lacks by 106 points]
