reinvestigate because several pieces of

evidence have recently come to light.

A deceased daughter, Fiona Meadows, was
the only eyewitness to the crime.

She was only seven at the time and was
too traumatised to give evidence at

MacReady's trial.

Anyway, she's now come forward with a
statement about the events leading up to

the murder which support MacReady's
claim that the stabbing was an accident.

As well as this, it's been brought to
our attention that the...

Prosecution pathologist John Foster,
whose evidence played a large part in

convincing the jury of McCready's guilt,
has recently, in a very similar case,

argued a directly opposing view to the
one he gave at McCready's trial.

McCready's also managed to get MP and
barrister Robert Rylands on his side. He

wants to push the case as a gay rights
issue.

He's concerned about being buggered in
the next election.

I didn't know he could be an MP and a
barrister at the same time.

He's very light on his feet.

Right, now, the original investigation
was led by Detective Superintendent

Michael Walker, one of the Met's most
experienced detectives.

claims Meadows puts behind his back and

out of reach.

Meadows then backs towards this wall
with MacReady heading towards him until

MacReady trips on the rug.

Yeah. There we go. So MacReady trips,
making him lunge towards Meadows, who in

turn is pushed back and onto the knife.

Meadows then removes the knife from his
back, tells MacReady he has stabbed

himself.

MacReady then admits to taking the
knife, putting it into the sink, and

coming back to help Meadows into the
bedroom.

Meadows' daughter Fiona witnessed the
incident from her bedroom doorway. She

claims MacReady told her to go back to
bed, that her daddy was feeling awly.

After... Assuring her everything was
fine, she stayed.

She saw her father going into his
bedroom.

Very good lighting.

Yeah, so she goes into there.

MacReady goes into the bedroom.

And then he comes back to fetch a glass
of brandy, which he does. So he takes

the brandy into the bedroom and gets
into bed himself.

What I meant was neither Mike Walker nor
Dave Satcher would be stupid enough to

meddle with evidence and put the wrong
man away. Well, excuse me all over the
