Georgie?

How you holding up?

Good, but I gotta admit, I can't wait for this to be over.

Yeah, you've been undercover for a long time, 14 months.

By next week, we'll have everything we need to put Sonny Tantero away for good.

What do you got for us?

Tantero Crime Syndicate has begun shipping drugs across the border,

classic cars with cocaine and heroin, driving them straight to Dallas.

Classic cars?

They've got a big shipment coming in this afternoon to a warehouse in Deep

Ellum. You got an address?

4247 Commerce Street.

Nobody move!

Then you've got a tale to tell.

Just take a walk down the road.

You'll be so lonely, baby.

You'll be so lonely.

You'll be so lonely.

I could die.

An Elvis Presley convention right here in the Metroplex. Yep. First annual Lone

Star tribute to the king.

First prize is $10 ,000 and an appearance contract at the new Elvis

and Casino in Las Vegas.

Elvis World Hotel and Casino right there in Vegas. My goodness.

Yep. At the Elvis World, you don't hit the jackpot, you hit the king.

You must be so excited. Yeah, I sure am, Alex. I really am, but it's going to be

tough, though.

I mean, some of the best Elvis's in the country are going to be competing. No,

you don't have to worry about that. You do what you did here tonight.

Shine up your blue suede shoes. Those fellows won't have a chance in hell.

That's right. That's a fact.

I'll do my very best.

Hound Dog.

Hands down.

No, no, no.

Come on. Blue suede shoes walks all over Hound Dog. Gage.

What?

You're so disappointing.

Well, ask Sidney. Fine.

Ask Sidney what? What is the best Elvis song ever?

Elvis? That's easy.

In the ghetto.

In the ghetto? What? Sidney, sometimes I worry about you.

Whatever.

Whatever?

Wow.

Very good.

Where'd you learn sign?

Oh, Alex, I could do that.

I'm not very good at it.

Oh, you're doing fine.

Besides, just the fact that you're trying to talk to Melissa in her

means so much. Oh, thanks.

Whoa!

What's the sign for a ringer?

Looks like we have a problem, gentlemen.

Security on that drug delivery was top shelf.

There's no way the Rangers could have known about it.

Not unless they had inside information.

What?

You mean we got it right?

In the eyes of a ranger, the unsuspecting stranger had better know

of wrong from right.

Cause the eyes of the ranger are upon you.

Any home you do, he's gonna see.

When you're in Texas, look behind you.

Cause that's where the ranger's gonna be.

I'll tell you, Ellen, your Elvis friends are going to love this. And here they

are, the official unabridged version of the C .D. Parker tour of the Metroplex.

Well, you know, C .D., Ellen is one of my oldest friends, and this is their

first trip to the Metroplex, so I was... Kind of looking for some more

traditional ideas.

Traditional? You can't get more traditional than these cards.

Guaranteed to please any Elvis fan.

All you've got to do is take them to the place and read the card.

Okay, let's see.

The Fort Worth Stockyards.

Okay, this is a good start. There's a lot of history in the stockyards.

On this spot in March of 1993... That could have been 83.

Texas Ranger C .D. Parker single -handedly took down the notorious Larson

Not wanting to use his gun for fear of harming a group of nearby school

children, Ranger Parker relied on his cowboy ways to lasso the Larson boys and

hogtie the bunch of varmints until help arrived.

C .D., this is, uh... Gold.

Pure gold.

Elvis. Elvis Presley. You're related to Elvis Presley. That's right. Oh, yeah.

You are not.

Okay, then I'm not.

How are you related to Elvis Presley?

Well, Elvis's great -great -grandmother was Cherokee, and her name was...

Morning White Dove. Everybody knows that.

Well, Morning White Dove was the half -sister of Gray Wolf Firewalker.

Your great -great -great -grandfather.

Right.

Well, how come you never told me that before?

Because you never asked me.

How was I supposed to know?

Well, I was going to tell you, but I didn't want to brag.

Oh.

Georgie?

Sonny's getting pretty hot.

Bust at the warehouse really threw him. He knew the information had to come from

inside his operation.

How's your cover? I'm okay.

Sonny knows there's a snake in the woodpile, but he doesn't know who.

Maybe it's time you pulled out.

Ranger Walker, normally Sonny's real smart about not getting his own hands

dirty. But next week, there's a face -to -face meeting with some representatives

of the Ventana drug cartel out of Columbia. If we bust Sonny at the

can not only put him away for a good long time, we get a chance to shut down

of the major pipelines of illegal drugs coming into the States.

Just let me wait till then.

All right, I guess my better judgment.

Thanks.

So what do you got? Big guns for cash deal going down on a factory on the edge

of town.

Maybe we should pass on this one, wait for Sonny's meeting with the cartel.

Walker, I'm in tight with Sonny. There's no way he'd suspect me.

And if we don't make that bust, those guns are going to wind up on the street.

All right, watch your stuff. Great.

Deal's going to take place near downtown on the west side of 35.

Well,

I thought we'd start right here in Fort Worth, and then maybe we'll head over to

Dallas for lunch.

That sounds great.

Well, you sure can, little darling.

Here, let me.

Okay, say one, two, three. Elvis!

Thank you.

Thank you.

You're very welcome.

Let's see. She wants to know if we're going to see any real cowboys later. You

bet we will.

Come on.

Okay.

On this spot in August of 1978, Texas Ranger C .D. Parker single -handedly

stopped a stampede of angry cattle with nothing more than a handful of hay and a

charming smile.

That C .D. sure is a character.

Oh, yeah.

We got $3 .50 per three large for a case, and with the holidays coming up,

babies make a wonderful Christmas present.

Yeah, every boy's dream.

What do you say $7 ,500 for the three cases?

How about $10? $15 in the state pen.

Hey!

Going the wrong direction.

Yeah.

Johnny boy, you gotta wake up.

We got you, all right?

Illegal weapons, intent to sell, resisting arrest.

There's something else.

Attempted murder on a peace officer.

Attempted murder? Are you guys nuts?

No, Javier pulled the trigger, but the act was committed during the commission

of a felony. A felony involving you.

So in the eyes of the law, pal, you're just as guilty.

All right, what do you want?

Sonny Tintero. Sonny Tintero?

I don't do business with that whack job. I got these guns from Big Joe

MacArthur.

Oh, my God.

This is set up.

Georgie.

Georgie's a rat?

Yeah.

You sure?

Yeah, I'm sure.

I planted a different story with two of the top guys.

The range has only been on one of them.

Georgie's.

Yeah. Trusted him like a brother.

So what do we do?

If you ever meet you at the construction site, you know what to do.

Remember, he's a cop.

I don't want their body turning up.

Understand?

Dealey Plaza.

This is where JFK was shot.

And it also happens to be where C .D. Parker single -handedly took out the

Melrose Park jewel thieves using only a shoelace and some bubble gum.

No, we'll be right here.

Nothing on his cell phone. I paged him twice.

Surveillance said Tantaros hasn't seen him since yesterday afternoon.

What do we do?

Put out an APB. Officer in trouble. I want everyone out there looking for him.

Got it.

Okay, I'll go with you.

I know you're a big girl.

Helen.

Do you know where it is?

Okay. Don't forget to wash your hands.

It must be really hard.

Yeah, I get a little worried.

Terrified.

But we are trying to let her be a little more independent.

That's why this convention is so important.

With the prize money, we can enroll Melissa in a special school.

They're making such amazing progress these days.

Well, I had no idea that Elvis mania was still so big. Are you kidding? It is

huge. There are performers and conventions all across the country. I

of it goes back to a much more innocent time. I mean, when Elvis was first on

TV, they could only shoot him from the waist up. Now you've got Dennis Fran

showing his whole naked rear end. But it's also about the music.

Elvis sang about love.

Today's music is about lust.

And I just sounded like my mother.

Yes, he did.

Hey, Georgie.

Hey, guys.

So what's the big news that couldn't wait?

You know that rat son he's been looking for?

Yeah.

Looks like he found him.

She's not there.

She's not there. Where did she go? I don't know.

No, we all just have to stay calm. She probably just wandered off.

You guys are making a big mistake.

No, you're the one that made a mistake.

Sonny trusted you.

He thought of you like a brother.

Until he found out you were a lousy cop.

Let's go get her.

We'll throw her in the hole with the cop.

Let's get out of here.

Okay. Calm down. Calm down.

A man was shot?

It's okay. It's okay.

It's all right.

Hey.

Since we know that Sonny Tintero had George killed, why don't we pull him in

squeeze him until it hurts?

There's nothing I like better, but...

His lawyers will have him out in 20 minutes.

How's Melissa?

Pretty shaken up.

Thank you.

You can't catch a kid. What is that, hard?

We went after her, but she ran across the lodge. She was rescued by Elvis.

Elvis? What are you talking about, Elvis? You know, Elvis Presley. I mean,

the Elvis Presley. One of those impenetrators. You mean impersonate. Is

what you mean?

What'd I say?

Like, boss, you got nothing to worry about. I got nothing to worry about? You

left a witness, moron. She was just a kid, and she was slow or something.

What do you mean, slow? Slow.

Well, the way she was just standing there and staring, there was definitely

something off about her. I mean, trust me on this. She ain't gonna be no help

nobody.

Better be right.

I mean, we know it's Donnie Tintero, right?

Yeah, we know it. Now we gotta prove it.

She says that's him. That's the man who pulled the trigger.

Is she sure?

Melissa, are you sure?

What's she saying?

She said she's deaf, not blind.

Okay, thanks.

Melissa, good work.

Rico Castillo. Ah, you'd have known.

You know this guy?

Yeah, George has said that he's done his number two man.

Assault and battery assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder,

arson.

Full service criminal nightmare, folks.

Can you get us the nurse warrant?

With those priors and a positive ID?

Absolutely.

Cartel can ship in about 150 keys a week.

Yeah, what is it? Yeah, Mr.

Dantero, we got two rangers out here at the front door. They say they're looking

for Rico.

All right, tell him he's not here.

Nothing to worry about. Is that what you said?

Yeah, I'm going to take care of this. No, forget it.

You forget it.

Use the service exit.

You go to the safe house. You wait for instructions. I'll take care of it. It's

all right, go on.

It's okay. It's all right, go on.

Yeah, it's me.

Rico's on his way now.

When he gets there, you kill him.

Better go run back.

Rico, it's Theo.

Pick the train. Do you want to step over here?

Come on.

You're not hurt. Let's go.

Come on.

Let's get in closer.

All right, gentlemen, hold it down to the end. Step up.

Let's go.

Keep moving.

All right, you're right there.

All right, step forward.

Who it is?

Four?

Are we sure?

I want you two to stay with her.

Okay. You guys ready?

Everything's set.

You killed a cop, Rico, and you're going to pay for it. Oh, geez, you're scaring

me. Look, Counselor, I don't... We've got you dead to right. You've got

We've got an eyewitness, and you're going down.

The only question now is whether it's going to be life without or lethal

injection. The choice is completely up to you. All right, this meeting... Shut

up.

What are you talking about?

I'm talking about giving up Sonny Tantaro, and you'll live.

You'll spend the rest of your life behind bars, but at least you'll have a

to spend.

On the other hand, if you don't give up Sonny... I ain't giving you nothing.

No deals, Counselor. See you in court.

You know something?

I was kind of hoping you'd say that.

Maybe she's got a point.

Rico, you keep your mouth shut. We'll work something out. Work something out?

Like what? You heard her. She's willing to talk. Deal?

You give up, Sonny Tantaro. You're a dead man.

Hey, Harv, wake up. I'm already a dead man. I keep my mouth shut. I go down for

capital murder. That's a needle, Harv. And I ain't talking novocaine.

All right.

Their whole case is that little girl.

Without her, they got nothing.

Time goes by so

slowly and time can do so

much. Are you still?

I knew your

love.

I think that these conventions are just about the performers, but there's really

a lot more to them.

For example, at 3 o 'clock, this guest speaker, the waitress who actually

Elvis breakfast in a diner near Waco. And at 4 o 'clock, there's an Elvis

martial arts class in the West Ballroom. Now that I'd like to see.

And tomorrow they're judging the best Priscilla Buffon.

And what is it here at 4?

The king is out there?

There's a group of people that believe that Elvis didn't really die.

Uh -huh.

What do they think happened to him?

They... They think that Elvis was abducted by aliens.

Now, I respect the way anyone chooses to relate to the king, but to me that's a

little much.

Sure.

Y 'all ready for lunch?

Oh, yeah, yeah.

The last time we met with Georgie, he said that Sonny was having a face -to

-face meeting with the Ventana cartel.

He said they were coming in this week.

Yeah. Also, contact the FAA. Have them notify us of any private aircraft coming

in from Central or South America as well for the next three days.

We're going to need some search warrants.

I'll get the paperwork started.

As soon as you have addresses, we'll be ready to go.

Well, Victor, I'm not going to lie to you. There has been, as you say, some

difficulties here and there, but there's really nothing to worry about.

Well, I'm glad to hear that.

I would hate to have anything jeopardize our long and profitable relationship.

So would I, so there's nothing to worry about.

Well, the difficulties that you talk about, they're being taken care of, even

we speak.

Hey, get down!

Everybody okay?

Yeah, everybody's okay.

Yes, we're all right. We're okay.

The FAA is laying down a radar blanket over the entire southern border.

That's Tijuana to Florida.

So as so much as an unaccounted for hummingbird has its direction, we're

to know about it.

Walker, where are you?

Okay, stay at the safe house.

Sonny Tintero made an attempt on Melissa's life.

Is she all right?

Yeah, Gage and Sidney took out the shooters.

The Rangers just took out Danny and Chico.

Took out? What do you mean? They're dead? Yeah.

What do we do now?

I got an idea.

We are concerned about Melissa's face. And whether or not I should compete

tomorrow? I understand your concerns, but we're going to be with you the whole

time. Yeah, but still, if my competing in the contest is going to put Melissa's

safety in jeopardy, this contest is important to your entire family, right?

Yes, it is.

Well, don't let Sonny Tintero take that away from you.

We promise we will not let anything happen to Melissa.

She'll be fine.

You get $50 ,000 now, and another $50 ,000 when you take her out.

It's all there, you can count it.

I made the final cut.

There's only three of us left.

I'm so proud of you.

It's all going to come down to the final number.

You know, I still think that you should sing in the ghetto.

What are you talking about?

Yeah, okay.

Okay, we got a private jet recruited to belong to the Ventana drug cartel just

passed into American airspace 15 minutes ago.

Can you get a flight plan?

Yeah, I left Bogota this morning. Stopped in Mexico to refuel.

Due to a touchdown at Addison Airfield, 2 o 'clock this afternoon.

Let's go.

Since my baby left me, I found a new place to dwell.

It's down the city and along the street.

I've been pretending so.

Now it's only been better.

I get so lonely, I get so lonely that I could die.

Although it's always crowded, you still can find some room where broken -hearted

lovers do cry away their gloom.

You make me so lonely, baby, I get so lonely, I get so lonely

that I could die.

I get so lonely.

I get so lonely. I could die.

You make me so lonely.

You make me so lonely.

We'll be right back.

Thank you.

I'm going to call Alex, give her a location for the warrants.

Okay.

He's gonna love this.

Like I said, everything in Dallas is fine, huh, Victor?

Hope you guys are having fun.

It'll be your last party for a long time, guys.

Get him!

This is for Georgia.

I just got the word.

Not only did you guys take down Sonny Tantero, but the Colombians are

cooperating with the federal officials both here and in Bogota.

That is good news.

Good news about Tony, too. Yeah.

Tony won the competition.

He sure did.

The judges said it was a little close where the singing was concerned, but

he took the flying sidekick off the stage, it pretty much put him over the

Yeah, I did look pretty good in that Elvis suit, too. I think maybe next year

I'm going to compete.

In the Elvis competition?

Yeah, why not?

Well, because you can't sing?

Can't sing, please.

I don't know.

I think he can sing. Yeah, thank you for that. I appreciate that.

CD, is the karaoke still working?

Oh, yeah. And it's queued up to an Elvis song, too.

Here we go, Gage.

Come on. If this is your opportunity, show us what you got.

All right. All right.

Fine.

Don't hurt yourself.

Come on, son, sing.

Why don't we start one more time?

Okay, maybe just one more.

Since my baby left me, I found a new place to dwell.

It's down at the end of Lonely Street.

Heartbreak Hotel, you make me so, I get so lonely, baby.

I get so lonely.

I get so lonely, I could die.

Although it's always crowded, you still can find some room where broken -hearted

lovers do cry away their gloom.

You make me so, you make me so lonely, baby. I get so lonely.

I get so lonely, I could die.

Well, the bell -hopped tears keep flowing, and the desk clerk's dressed in

black. Well, they've been so long, so long, so long, let's see what they've

done.

I get so lonely, baby.

I get so lonely.

I get so lonely, I could die.

Yeah, right.

How do you say goodbye?

Goodbye.

Cause behind those rangers are upon you.

Ain't home you do, he's gonna see.

When you're in Texas, look behind you.

Cause that's where the rangers gonna be.
