You ready, Ellie?

Always.

Ellie, did that balloon just giggle?

Or maybe it was trying to.

Ellie, I think that balloon's holding something inside.

Maybe it caught a giggle and forgot how to let go.

What if someone's keeping the giggles?

Like in jars.

Or maybe someone collected them and forgot they were meant to be shared.

Ellie, did you just draw a giggle? I think it was already hiding there, like

was waiting.

Whoa, it opened a laughing doorway.

Not just a doorway, a memory.

This place, it feels like someone forgot how to laugh here.

Then we'll help them remember. This yo -yo, it feels sad.

Maybe whoever lost this lost their laughs with it. Then we'll return the

and the giggle.

Why did it stop?

Something's blocking the laughter.

It looks trapped.

Maybe it's holding on to a lap too tight.

It laughed!

You did it!

Just a little more.

It's like a memory made of joy. Let's follow it.

That book looks sad.

Maybe it remembers the boy.

Let's see what he forgot.

We're flying into a memory.

Let's find the piece he left behind.

This place remembers, but barely.

Then we'll help it laugh again.

Is that him?

Maybe this can help him remember how it felt to play.

Want to see a trick?

His joy, it's waking everything up.

I think it worked.

He's remembering, little by little.

And that giggle thief better start worrying.

He's smiling. We really did it. And we're just getting started.

Ellie, something's watching us.

We can't let it scare us. Not now.

We should move.

That thing, it's getting closer.

These are pieces of his joy, tucked away.

Then let's find the one that still makes him smile. This was his kite. It flew

higher than all the others.

Think I could beat that with my yo -yo?

It wants us to follow.

Race you, Ellie.

is where the echoes live.

Echoes of what we forget.

Every sound here is something he once loved.

Like a forgotten playlist.

These are his happiest memories, hiding from the shadows.

Then let's unhide them. This was him before the sadness.

We can still bring him back.

This is where he lost his laugh.

It's been echoing in here ever since.

Is that where it happened?

If we draw it, maybe he'll remember how it felt.

Worth a try.

It's working!

He's remembering!

I remember.

You were always there.

This was always yours.

Time to go home, huh?

Think he'll be okay now?

Sometimes, all it takes is one gentle reminder to help someone remember the

they lost.

And sometimes you don't even have to fix everything.

Just show up. Just care.

The smallest kindness.

And when you're kind, the world listens.

Even if it doesn't say anything back right away.
