Deputy Bailey radioed 433 seeing smoke
in the Santa Carlita Pass

area. That's right.

Jay Crawford, he's the ranger from the
tower, said he kept his glasses trained

on the suspect area for about 20 minutes
and drew a blank.

I'd still like to talk to him.

I'm afraid you can't get him for about
an hour now. He's... Out of the tower

every day about this time, checking a
new stand of seedlings.
