U .S. Border Patrol office at Casa
Grande.

The two missing patrol inspectors
assigned to a traffic check operations

the Arizona -Mexican border had been
found alive but in critical condition.

The FBI began an immediate
investigation.

Even as the wounded officers were being
rushed to a hospital.

A description of two of the subjects
applied by the inspectors, plus latent

fingerprints obtained from the patrol
vehicle, were forwarded to the FBI
