Alerted by Nora Tobin, the Baltimore
police found pieces of her stolen

in the suspect's hotel room.

A bracelet and a ring valued at $36 ,000
were missing.

Further investigation revealed that the
suspect, calling himself Lieutenant

Wesley Garrett, had been masquerading as
an officer in the United States Navy,

and the FBI entered the investigation.

Ziegler never went back to his hotel
room.

And he left everything, including his
uniform, personal papers, and his

fingerprints. The identification
division matched the latents found in

with his fingerprint record.

Wesley W. Ziegler, also known as Walter
Garrett, William West, Chester

Willoughby. When was this taken?

Five years ago.

He served time in Atlanta for passing
bad checks.

And he's wanted on various bunco charges
in Philadelphia, Newark, Charlotte,

North Carolina, and suspicion of murder
in Virginia.

Murder? Apparently he's capable of it.

According to his victims, he gets pretty
violent when he's trapped.

I think this is relevant.

In each case, the complaint was filed by
a woman.

The emotional damage he's caused can
