His real boss was high -ranking party
member Louise Freed, accompanying him as

his administrative assistant.

His assignment?

To replace a major F .L. Harburg.

who had been critically wounded while

Ramsey's Berlin flight had landed.

As soon as he regained consciousness, he
asked to speak to agents of the FBI.
