Oh, Hover Spice is really good. It's a
spice made for sauces and cocktails.

I'll give you a little sample of it if
you want to taste it.

Okay. So I'm just going to use regular
water here.

Let you taste a little bit of that
without the spice in it so you know how

tastes. Okay.

Okay. And now Hover Spice comes from
India, and they found it along the

edge. They were finding by the Ganges
that leaves were falling and they

landing in the water. They were kind of
hovering above them because of the

evaporation of the water. So you kind of
hover the spice over the water. You

don't touch it. Just hover over it. And
once it gets a little bit of buoyancy,

the evaporation of the water meets the
surface humidity of the leaf and it will

hover right above it.

And you let it sit there.

And it's, you know, a cyclical humidity.

So it's evaporating at the same level
that it's touching. So the intensity of

that spice is unlike anything you could
get from putting it in a crock pot or

anything with a dry spice. Taste that
water now.

Very minty, right?

It's an intense sweet mint flavor.

Wow. Isn't that wonderful?

Wow. Yeah, and it won't do it, you know,
unless it's over water.

Can you reuse the leaves?

drink of water like that, you could use

And you use these little food bulbs.

And you can let them sit on the sink and
they create their own kind of like

little ecosystem inside.

So that it will grow. And it grows
quickly, too.

And it's grown in beans, believe it or
not. Yeah, you pour about a third of the

jar full of beans.

And then you drop your little bulbs in
there. Now, the last ones they sent over

was doing sage and basil.

Let's see.

They changed the label, so I'm not sure
what these are.

But these little bulbs, you know, do
like, here, I'll do three.

You put them.

about a third of the way down like that.

Then you fill the rest with beans. And
beans actually works better than soil

because it's a lot cleaner, obviously,
because it's not dirt, right?

You know, after a little bit of water,
it'll start to sprout in about four to

five days.

Or you can use an accelerator lamp like
this one here, and you leave the lid

open, okay?

And we'll turn that guy on.

There we go. You aim the accelerator
lamp on it like that.

And you let it sit for just a few
seconds there.

Usually it kind of knows when it's done,
when it stops.

And when it stops, you just go on in
there with tongs and just see if you dig

in there and see if you can grab hold of
any sprouts.

Oh, you see that little green sprouted
right there? Look at that.

Oh, my goodness.

That quickly.

So that might be sage. I'm not sure

Because, you know, when it's packed in
soil, it takes longer for the water to

get into the bulb and for the light to
get through. But because of the spaces

and the surface area in the beans...
