I just want to welcome you guys to the Optimum Fitness Obstacle Course Challenge part of a

Tough Enough Million Dollar Challenge.

I take what I do very serious.

My job was to cut down people.

So I was going to push until they did drop.

The course didn't look that difficult.

Most people just looking at the course would go, sure, I can do it.

The reason why it's so tough, the sand is one of the main ingredients to what we do out

there.

Running in that sand, the resistance is like doubled or tripled.

At 24 years old, I just got accepted into the only family

I've ever wanted to be in.

He came to me, told me that after spending the first night

in a bathtub full of ice water trying to soak,

and then barely getting out of bed the next morning,

that he realized that this just wasn't for him.

I feel like I'm in great physical shape, endurance-wise,

strength-wise, but it's another thing to go in and put your body

through the pressures of learning how to wrestle.

And I was like, you know what?

This just isn't for me right now in my life.

I grew up in the Woodlands, Texas.

It's right outside of Houston with my mom.

My mom's been a single parent,

and I've learned a lot of responsibility.

She's a sensation for me.

I ain't gonna sit here and tell a story

about when I was five years old.

I weighed 40 pounds.

I started working out.

Right now, I'm living in Beaumont

because I moved there to play arena football.

I'm living with my girlfriend, Destiny.

She's awesome.

I was always the kid, always getting in trouble.

Most people think I'm gonna be a heart.

But I'm not like that.

I just like to have fun.

The four years that I played at the University of South Florida,

I can honestly say they were probably the four best years of my life.

I always had to get put in my place very often,

but most of the time I'd talk my way out of the trouble

that I got myself into.

I grew up in Cupertino, California.

Cupertino is in Northern California, north of San Jose.

I had a great family.

As a kid, I wasn't too good of a student.

I had ADD.

Back then I had problems reading.

That was kind of hard to struggle through, but I've gotten past that.

I go to Menlo College in Atherton, California.

It's studying business.

This was going to be my last year in college, but it's going to be pushed back a little bit.

I have a non-profit strength training program for youth that I've tried to help youth out around my city.

I've always loved athletics and gotten to wrestling.

After sixth grade, moved on to high school wrestling.

I was top in the state of California my senior year.

I wrestled one year in college.

I hurt my arm, so I've been doing ultimate fighting.

A little razzing I like because when my coaches push me, I keep going for them.

I was a little nervous.

I cut a horrible promo first promo.

Thing is, Rock, I'm a forgiving man, and I want to forgive you.

That's how they got into the business, just setting up the ring and taking it down.

I think anybody who's worth their salt at one time or another has set up the ring and

taken it down.

It's time for the Tough Enough competition.

But before we begin the Tough Enough competition, one of you have been eliminated.

Obviously, we know it's not going to be me.

I think Ryan really wants Pewter to go home.

We all kind of knew he was getting voted off that week, and we all turned out to be right.

The eliminated contestant is Chris Narocki.

It was very sad to see him go.

Everybody's just crossing their fingers it's not them the next week.

There's not one thing in particular I'm going to miss.

I mean, it's like the whole thing together, you know, between the training, coming here

and traveling, camaraderie between, you know, all the different contestants, you know, spending

time with Bill and Al, learning from their expertise, you know, that was just like, it's

like a dream come true, it's like a wrestling fan and somebody that's wanted to get into

wrestling their whole life.

So, you know, leaving that behind, it's disappointing and it's upsetting, but I can't go out there

right now because I'm out.

One of them will be a millionaire and best of luck to the guy that wins a million dollars

because it's not going to get easier.

Now, the five finalists remain, led to the ring by Al Snow.

Earlier today, we gave each of the contestants 30 seconds to say who they would vote on and exactly why.

I thought it was hilarious and knew that they were just all scared of me at that point.

Now, don't get me wrong.

Daniel is a great athlete.

He's been strong throughout this whole competition.

But the fact of the matter is, he has his head so far up Bill and Al's butts that he's turning his blonde hair brown.

He doesn't have anything else on me.

I mean, none of them do.

And so they have to make up some goofy-ass reasons that my hair is turning brown because my head's so far up Bill and Al's ass.

Knowing how to work or charm people can come across as being a bit of a suck-ass.

And there were times that I thought that if I stopped too fast that Daniel's head would be so far up my rectum,

I'd need a glass stomach so that he could see where he was going.

It's always about Pewter.

And so I think a lot of people don't like that about him.

Every day we hear it every day about how good I am and how, you know, how bad we are.

Every single day, Justice has a reason why he can't do something.

Then he sits on the ground and Bill and Al get on him and start hitting him.

And he gets pissed off at me because they never beat up on me.

Confidence should not be verbalized.

My confidence level is not arrogant.

I'm not cocky at all.

I go out there and I get the job done.

Fortune favored Dan in almost every single competition.

And so that started to bring about a little bit of animosity.

I mean, this is a competition.

I'd vote off Justice.

The reason is, is he's the biggest guy here.

He has a lot of charisma coming out.

But he hasn't proven himself as being the biggest guy.

So-called, he's been a tough guy on another show and he used to be doing the Battle Dome.

But when he came out here against the Bastion Brothers, he was on the ground squirming, not doing anything.

Well, now that we've found out who the competitors would eliminate, let's find out who the worldwide audience has eliminated this week.

Ryan Reeves, I'm sorry.

You've been eliminated.

Wow.

Ryan Reeves, a pack of his bags.

We're down to three.

Justice Smith, Mike Mazan, and Daniel Pewter survive yet another week.

I can tell you without a doubt that out of the, you know, the remaining contestants, I probably wanted this more than any single one of them.

I've dreamed of doing this my whole life and I don't think any of them could say the same thing.

Tonight's competition, we're going to find out who's tough enough to be in touch with your feminine side.

I was looking forward to dressing like a woman because I knew I was going to win the competition.

Oh, my God.

Oh, this is a little weird.

I almost fell like five times walking out there.

Oh, my.

Hey, I thought it was justice.

Dressing up as a woman was fun.

I enjoyed it.

Oh, my.

That is really Dan, right?

I did the best I could.

I got the biggest boobs I could find.

I got the smallest little mini skirt I could find.

I was blowing some bubbles out there.

But Miz started catching them, which was funny.

Up until, like, that day, Al thought he was going in.

So we were all messing with him.

You can see Al just getting creeped out by the whole situation.

I just stood there like, oh, my God.

And then they're like, all right, Mike.

When I handed him the bear, I didn't know if he was going to take it

or if he was going to go along with the whole thing

because that's not his style usually.

or martial arts take on Daniel Pewter who might just kill him.

I really respect those who voted for me, supported me, you know, cared for me.

I definitely want a contract.

I definitely want to pursue this as a career.

It's just been a high honor just to be here.

Not to say it's over.

This is just the beginning.

Once you take a walk down this road and you get in the ring, you know it's for real.

I'm sitting there thinking, like, I've done this before on one of my challenges, and so

I was like, all right, well, I can do this good.

It's a two out of three falls competition.

The first contestant who knocks his opponent off the pedestal twice will be declared the

winner.

All I've got to do is feel him and what he's doing and just let him do whatever he's got

to do, and he'll get off balance and he'll fall.

Gentlemen, are you ready?

When we were up there, he started pushing on me.

I was going to try to push him, because I figure if you go side to side, it leaves you

open.

This is all balance.

That's what the deal is.

That's what you're testing with the joust.

And the defense is eliminated.

So Peter is up one fall.

And then the next time, I kind of tried to do the same thing, but I tried to push back

more, but as I pushed back more, he pushed me back.

And so I tried to get into his joust, but that didn't work.

I was already off balance and just went down.

Ball number two, Mizanin must win this ball here.

He's going again.

They knocked Miz off a couple times pretty quick.

It was not hard.

The two remaining finalists will compete at the Armageddon pay-per-view in a regulation

boxing match called a Dixie Dog fight.

Pewter's an ultimate fighter.

He's boxed before.

I mean, I've boxed here and there, but it's been about six years since I've been in the

ring and actually took a punch.

I've trained in ultimate fighting for six years.

I've done boxing.

I've done kickboxing.

I'm going to give them a show.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, I will introduce to you first, from Cleveland, Ohio, at 210 pounds,

Mike Mizanin.

This past week, I've been hearing people say, Mike, this guy's bigger than you.

He's boxed before.

He's an ultimate fighter.

You're an underdog.

So the fact of the matter is, the underdog is going to have some bite.

Eat it, Pewter.

And here's the opponent from Carpentino, California, at 230 pounds, Daniel Pewter.

Mike, there are two pains in life.

My right and my left.

Tonight, you're going to feel both of them.

And I create referee stoppage, so watch out.

I'm definitely the underdog.

I think the audience wants me to win, but in the same sense, I think they feel that I'm

going to lose.

There's a lot of pressure.

I mean, everyone was like, oh, you have to kick the Miz's ass.

You have to beat him up.

Both athletes look to be in pretty good condition.

I'll tell you, they've got to have a lot of nerves.

Before a fight or something like that, I get a little nervous.

You know, it's always good to have those nerves keeping you on your toes.

I'm nervous.

I'm scared.

Anytime you get in a fight, you're always going to be scared.

But the thing is, that's what being Miz is all about.

Like, when I say the Miz, you know, people are like, oh, what's that, da, da, da.

It's like a state of being.

It's, I turn that fear, I turn all that nervous energy into adrenaline.

And it just builds up, builds up until it explodes.

And that's what I plan on doing in the ring.

I plan on exploding and just being pure Miz.

And here we go with the Dixie dogfight.

And it ended up being almost like a barroom brawl.

No, he's got a ton of heart.

I'm used to three or five-minute rounds just based on, you know, ultimate fighting.

Most of my ultimate fighting experience was on the ground or just kicking.

My hands are the weakest, but I love to do it.

Oh, I'm thinking Miz might be going for a little trip.

He's a little overly aggressive.

Absolutely.

And he's going to blow himself up.

He's going to punch himself out.

I got winded really quick.

I got gassed out.

Second round, I was dead.

Miz was absolutely gassed out.

You could see in his face.

He was just staying there.

So I started pushing him.

I saw it.

I started going after him.

There's no knockout.

It's going to be up to the great fans to decide this match.

Well, it seems to me that we have a winner here tonight.

But that does not mean Daniel Pewter wins Tough Enough.

Next Thursday night, Nashville, Tennessee, we will crown the $1 million Tough Enough winner.

We started this $1 million Tough Enough with thousands of entrants.

We took those thousands of entrants down to eight contestants.

And you, the audience, have taken it down to two finalists.

But there can only be one winner of the $1 million Tough Enough Challenge.

Feels pretty damn good that I made it to the end.

It's quite an honor to sit there and have these guys that are 6'9", 385, and then come

in and being the smallest guy, the underdog, and taking it all the way to the top.

It's just an honor.

It's probably the only night in my whole life that I haven't slept too long.

And I was like, whoa.

This is what my final goal was to do.

I'm very happy.

I've worked hard and I've done what I want to do.

How do you feel?

I mean, obviously, this sucks.

But, Pewter, you did an amazing job.

You did a great job in all the competitions.

And I've been doing this for two and a half years, trying to wrestle, trying to get into WWE.

This past eight weeks, I've learned that this is where I want to be.

Mike, I knew from the very beginning, was probably my hardest competition.

If I had to do anything over it, I really wouldn't do anything.

I think everything is what it was.

And it was the best of my ability.

I think I could have promoted myself, like Pewter, a little bit more.

But that's not the way I wanted to play this game.

You know, in the contest, I wasn't always the strongest guy.

I wasn't always the biggest guy.

But I always put all my energy and all my heart and all my passion for this business into everything I did.

Just because I lost this battle doesn't mean I lost the war.

I'm going to keep on trying and trying and trying until I get that WWE contract that I want so bad.

How would you like to have the chance to main event WrestleMania 21?

I would love it.

I would.

Well, you have an opportunity because before I came out here, I spoke to Theodore Long, and you've been officially entered in the 30-man, over-the-top rope Royal Rumble.

It's crazy.

I can't believe they're going to have me do that.

But that's awesome.

I want to do it.

The biggest challenge in coaching and mentoring the Tough Enough contestants is really finding out who they really are and letting them find out who they really are.

And if this is something that they really, truly want to do, if they truly have a passion for it.

I've learned a lot from the WWE.

I figured out what I want to become and what I'm willing to do to get there.

I couldn't be happier for him.

He's a great kid, and I really expect big things from him.

I think that he's going to be in this business for a very long time and make me very proud.

I've always had enough money to do what I wanted to do.

Not a million dollars.

But, you know, this feels awesome.

I can't believe that I'm here.

I barely made the top eight just because I didn't show too much personality in those two days until I went and picked up the chick on the beach.

Now I'm here, number one.

I beat everybody out.
