for Cal Gilman.

to the Gilmans.

And she lived there when Diane and her
brother were growing up.

from a tool shed that was on the

there, and it was Ron, and he was about

years old at the time, sobbing his eyes
out.

The thing that was so strange about this
is that it's 2 in the morning.

they thought Gilman would just punish
the kid.

adult, sometimes they become jaded, and

their hearts close down, and they just
don't think that they'll ever be able to

abuse while he was actually with his

the guilt.

you might find that he too is a victim.

until the moment

you do.

Gus expected the sexual abuse?

Yeah, for years.

Even before Diane came forward with it.
He said it was only a matter of time

before someone in the family decided to
do something about it.

Are you saying that Gus killed Billman
to stop his wife and one of his other

kids from doing it first?

I'm just saying the man didn't see any
choice.

And no excuse for murder.

Family's behind Gus 100%. Yeah, Diane's
on a mission to keep her stepfather out

Well, I don't think even the Supreme
Court can save old Gus.

even give a man like Cal Gilman the

punishment that he deserves?

That we're human.

We make mistakes.

That's why we have laws and courts in
the first place. And cops.
