I am Monroe.
Hey, I'm Aislinn. And we are from Degraffi. I play Eli, you play... I
Claire. I don't remember. That is the one. We're going to do a little tour
today. The wall of meet and greet.
Aislinn, take it away.
Hey, hey, hey, you love your strips. Hello.
Oh, oh.
Aislinn and Charlotte. No, Annie and Charlotte.
It's very tiring right now. What are you guys doing?
It's very tiring right now.
It's being Monroe. So I'm going to take over the tour right now because
apparently Monroe can't even be bothered to put together a fence. Get your words
together. He's so tired.
But this right here, the wonderful Annie, who you all know, and the
Charlotte. They just came from some rehearsals, I think, or those trips.
are. We can't show you what's in them, but it's so exciting.
All right. All right.
Continue. That blinking red light up there, that means that we are filming
now. So somewhere.
In this building, someone is filming.
Editing. It's like a magic hallway. You just walk down, it's totally normal,
then you look down there and wham!
We're not allowed in there. We can't go in there because the secrets are done in
there. Oh my god, he went in the secret hallway! Someone tell someone!
This is where lunch is.
This is where we eat lunch.
And, for those of you who have been watching this show for a really long
this used to be the cab.
And also, if you can sort of tell from the decorations in this hallway, this is
often the hospital.
Where is she? Is she okay?
They are just cleaning up in here because they just finished filming a
the Guthrie home.
Look up. There are no ceilings, but on TV it totally looks like we have
ceilings. Fiona's house.
Should we do that? Her condo, her beautiful loft.
The other area of the loft.
As you can see, it is beautiful.
a girl's night.
We move on to the foyer.
Everyone loves the foyer.
Everything happens in the foyer.
And right through there is the gym. You all know the gym.
Most of these names on this plaque right here are executives and writers and
awesome people that we actually have around on production.
We've got a sign that says to the pool, but we don't actually have a pool
anywhere on this floor.
Or in this building.
It's a secret.
So, welcome to the change room.
This is to the showers.
Let's see the showers.
The showers?
This would be a horrible place to take a shower.
I don't even see any water. What is this?
Nope, you're live.
There totally is water.
So, this is the gym.
What's great about a zoo... Hey, want to go to your house?
Yeah.
Welcome to my humble abode.
I thought you'd be many people and you'd humble above.
It's true. And every time I open the door, what are you doing here?
She says it every single time. I'm not joking.
What are you doing here?
We had tender moments over here. We did.
And look, do you want to look at pictures of me as I was a little kid?
Got one up there. I think that was grade one.
Cute. So cute.
And then, look, it's Sinead, guys.
Long -lost sister is still in Africa somewhere. We don't know. Maybe she was
eaten by a lion. We really don't, can't tell.
Graphic. As you can see, we are standing right in front of the school set.
But you move over just a few feet and look, there's the start of Queen Street.
So, let's go on a field trip, shall we?
We got the tattoo parlor where me and, where Eli and Claire, I mean.
Method acting.
Where Eli and Claire got their piercings.
Matching piercings.
Wouldn't your parents hate that?
Definitely.
Right here, this little alleyway, that's where me and Fifth, James Campbell, had
a little scuffle.
Threw down. That was a lot of fun.
Is that enough?
You punch like my grandma. Oh, really?
I think right here we might have something to talk about.
Hmm. Is this a bench?
Oh, my God.
Bench slide. I slide on benches.
Claire!
What brings us to our special bench?
Let's move on. Yeah.
Now, see, the really cool thing about this studio of Degrassi is that it goes
right from the school into Queen Street with all the stores, and then it hands
it right into the houses. That's Claire's house. And then Eli, he drives
way here. But in reality, my house is right there.
So that's the biggest three -point turn.
I've ever had to do.
Our ravine.
That abandoned church that we have a whole bunch of scenes in where Adam had
party. An ice bar. We have to throw a New York -style party.
Well, that is the end of our tour, but thank you for joining us.
It's been a pleasure. Now, before you go, I have to tell you guys something.
We're adding some cast members this year.
One of them I am very excited for. He's my best friend.
His name's Justin Kelly. I worked with him on a show.
Before I get to Degrassi, he's awesome, and his character is going to get in
between stuff. Excuse me.
Season 11 is going to be awesome, so be prepared.
