with all this good news. What I know

about good TV is if you can sympathize
with a character or if you like them,

you'll stay around to see them.

I love just about every single
character, villains and prey, all of

But I think it's just a juicy twist and
turn, and I think there's a lot of

interest to see how this is all going to
play out. I don't really feel good

I was hooked within the first ten
minutes.

They crazy, but I love them. It was
amazing.

Season one, episode one. I got you.

Winnie Champagne. The show is amazing.
It's fabulous.

And I'm really grateful that we have
been able to be entertained for this

years. I love the Have and Have Nots
because it is the greatest ensemble of

actresses and actors I have ever seen in
my entire life.

I've been a huge Have and Have Nots fan.

I've been watching the Have and Have
Nots since May 28, 2013.

That was the very first episode to air
on home.

I love the show because it always has
some juicy stuff that goes on. That over

there? That's the one that takes bark
like a dog orders from you. I don't.

this is the bitch that's acting like a
dog. Get out!

At least I know how to control my
litter. I love it because the crazy

storylines, the crazy plotlines, the
twists, the turns.

It reminds me of the old soap opera
days.

God.

I am truly amazed with what Tyler Perry
does when he sits down and he writes.

I normally watch the show by myself, but
I have my daughter who comes in the

living room while I'm watching, and
she'll see me talking to the TV, and

be like, Mom, this show must be good.
And who are you talking to? And I'll be

like, Girl, I'm talking to my show.

And yeah, it's good.

Well, well, well, well, well. I am so
happy I got to watch the show. That was

much fun.

I've never loved this show so much in my
life. After that first episode, we were

hooked, and it was just an event every
single Tuesday night. When I first

started watching the show, I watched it
with my mom, my grandma, and my aunt,

but now I watch it with my fiance.

I love the show because it actually
tells about how the poor is getting poor

the rich is getting richer.

My favorite character would have to be
Candace. I mean, Candace is a great

actor, and she brings life to all the
shows.

My favorite scene to work on probably
was from season one, where you were

introduced to this girl who, even though
she was messy and complex and sometimes

crazy and manipulative.

I thought I was coming to see some old
man.

You guys embraced it. So my favorite
scene was disrobing for John Schneider.

You know, some people think she's evil,
but I just think her childhood was

complex. It's complicated.

It's not so cut and dry. And I love
playing somebody who has different

you know, and I think that's why people
actually like her, because she's not

perfect.

Candace, what do I have to do to end
this nightmare?

Die. Really?

It's been a rollercoaster of a ride to
work on the haves and the have -nots.

They can mess up your face so badly that
your own mother won't recognize you.

Candace, I just love to watch her. She
wasn't necessarily, like, the most

ethically great character.

However, she was always so entertaining,
so beautiful, such a great actress.

Of course. To work with Crystal Fox, who
plays my mom, there are times where I

wasn't even meant to cry, but we connect
so well.

Then you know I would do anything for

Candace is kind of like our baby.

Yeah, she does things, but she's like,
you can see the hurt and the pain. So

it's like you can get mad at her, but
you really can't be mad at her.

I loved everything about it. I loved
being crazy. I loved being vulnerable.

I love being kind of open in my heart to
this whole process and grateful for it.

Candace. Working with Tyler Perry has
been fantastic.

He knows what he wants to do and he does
it. And he also gives us room to be who

we are and he wants everyone to grow and
be great. So it's been great to work

with him and to see how his brain works
and to see this empire that he's built.

calling Candace and his mother out of

I think all the fans will agree with me
on this one. When

Hannah and Candace teamed up, that
mother and daughter duo teamed up and

put a whooping on Jim.

And I mean, it was funny and it was well
deserved.

actually find Jim Cryer. I have to give
it to the Hannah and Candace versus

Jim when Jim decided to get in front of
Hannah's face.

breath. She took her earrings off. She

made that first slap.

And the next thing you know, Candace
jumped on his back.

That was one of the first times where we
really saw Candace and Hannah working

together for a common goal.

That was Jim getting a piece of his
humble pie.

I love that because I see how they come
together as mother and daughter.

and stick together and, hey, let Jim
know that, hey, we are not to be messed

with. I was waiting on it. Somebody
needed to get Jim, and I was so glad.

I want to see that again, but I want to
see it in 3 -D.

Looking back on all my experience so far
on the haves and have -nots, I'd have

to say that my favorite scene was when I
grabbed Veronica and tried to kill her,

because some people need killing.

She's one of them.

He was great to see him play a deviant
villain. He is diabolically deviant. You

are not ready for what's coming up next.

And neither was I.

I need to talk to you.

No, I can't speak to you. Well, you're
going to. My favorite character is

Catherine. Catherine Cryer. She can be
philanthropic.

She's sweet. She's nice. She is loyal.

But if you cross her, that's not a place
you would want to be. Why in the hell

would you have pain medication in this
house?

ass.

She's had so many quotable lines of
dialogue.

This fragrance is called Out With The

Where she could just say one little
line, and that would just rip apart

who was confident that they had the
upper hand on her.

One of my most fun scenes was I got into
a bar fight with one of the Malones.

Got to break a bottle over his head, and
it just ended up from one side of the

bar to the other side of the bar. Then I
had to go back to fighting. It just was

crazy.

It was fun.

It's still fun.

Jeffrey's story, I think he's probably
my favorite because I can relate to him.

I am an openly gay black man, you know.

And I have a loving, supportive parent,
but it's not always easy to come out to

a black family as a man. So his coming
out scene was just,

All right, now what is it? I'm gay.

Honey, you are not a homosexual.

You're not.

I love you anyway.

Your mother loves you anyway.

Speak for yourself.

My favorite scene to work on in Why is
that crazy theme that

we saw with the gun battle.

I love action and being able to shoot
off guns. And we had a lot of fight

choreography that was happening and
bullets flying everywhere. It was really

exciting.

That'll

teach

you to try to kill me.

It has truly been a rollercoaster
working on the show.

I appreciate every peak, every valley of
it. And it's been a huge blessing. And

you, the fans, are just truly amazing.
And that's what makes this show the best

show that's been out.

When Candace Young and the president
-elect get together, Candace and

that is a match made in heaven.

They just had chemistry. Talk about
spicy.

The most shocking Tyler Perry plot twist
ever.

It was amazing.

It was like the best moment of my life.

I loved it.

Plus, the one theme fans just cannot
stop talking about.

To a lying, cheating bastard.

Oh, my God.

I was here for a day.

love of The Had and Had Not was when

Hannah asked Derek, did he love God and
did he want to see him one day?

And Derek's response was...

here ever again, and I promise you,

I'm going to put you on that trip to see
him sooner than you think.

I was like, okay, go ahead. I was like,
yeah.

When Catherine was in Jennifer
Dallison's office, and she looked

Jennifer into her face and said, let me
see if I can make it more clear to you.

Bitch, I will have you murdered in the
streets.

I lost it. I lost it.

It was amazing.

It was like the best moment of my life.

I loved it. You try to have a nice day.

Because it may be your last.

I'm seeing Catherine.

I'd say the most memorable line of the
entire series.

Number nine, Catherine Cryer was the one
who coined that phrase when Candace

revealed the affair between her and Jim
back in season one was just an epic

moment in the series.

Your name is nine.

She so gracefully, you know, put one
foot down than the other, put on his

slippers and just gave one of the best
monologues in the entire series.

You are just as powerless as all the
other chronologicals.

I don't really understand what you think
you're going to accomplish, but it's

closing all of this information to me.

You think I didn't know about you?

Nine, I hold the purse strings in this
hand and his balls in this one.

You are a non -factor.

My favorite character would have to be
Miss Veronica.

I will miss Veronica's sociopathic
personality.

about her.

Playing this character, bringing it to
life, bringing her to life is the most

fun because there really are no rules.

So I love playing the villain.

I've been out with Peter, who plays
David, and people will say, oh, my God,

so good to see you. I love you so much.
And then they'll look at me and say, oh,

you crazy.

Ladies and gentlemen, my husband thinks
I'm a simple bitch. And with that.

Hurricane Veronica touches down and
destroys that hotel bar.

I may as well start acting like a simple
bitch. Since you married a simple

bitch. Oh, my God.

I was here for a date. I wasn't a simple
bitch when I took care of her.

And that's it.

She goes off. She smashes the whole
place up.

Simple bitch. Simple bitch.

Simple bitch hair.

admit, I like to play that on YouTube.

My favorite character on the show is
David Harrington.

He's been a voice of reason. It's almost
as if David is as calm as Veronica

is fierce.

The most memorable line of the show is
when David says, I'll handle it. I'll

I'll handle it. Peter Farrows, the way
he does the David voice, you know, I'm a

good friend, but I'm a better enemy.

I like the arc that the character has
gone through, and sometimes it's the

sensitive stuff, but sometimes it's, you
know, the backhand scene.

It's a good one.

My all -time favorite.

A turning point scene for the character
that was prominent for a lot of people

and I think for me with David was...

When David was a practicing judge and
Hannah comes to him and she prays with

Lord God, I'm praying that all truth

And he kind of breaks down because he's
doing some shady stuff.

That was a scene that was really
powerful.

There have been too many Tyler Perry
plots with The Count.

I was not expecting that.

But this one stands alone as your all
-time favorite. We had never seen

anything.

My most shocking plot twist was
definitely when our candid son was

hotel bathroom.

Mama!

Oh, my God.

I had to see Hannah was in the bathroom
with him when he was shot and killed,

and that was like wild. I can't believe
that they kind of wrote that in there,

that the kid got killed. With Hannah, of
all people, you know, it makes me get a

little touched up now thinking about it.
I just could not believe that the

little boy passed away.

My all -time best plot twist in the
story is when Catherine gave

Hannah power of attorney over her estate
and not Jim.

You will take a look at this right here.
You'll see that I am the executor of

the estate.

You go, girl. You just kicked Jim in the
ass.

What? Yes.

Hang on. Are you telling me...

That you have been made the executor of
Catherine's estate.

Every bit of it.

Now, what were you saying to me, Jim,
about what I have or have not?

By far the most shocking plot twist in
the have and have not was when Hannah

dating Derek, who I was so happy for
her, and then it's revealed that he is

actually the man who raped her. That was
a shocker. When Hannah connected the

dots. With the tattoo.

And it's Candace's father.

I was not expecting that.

Like, how of all of the people in this
city,

how? That was a plot twist. Like, I
don't know what the hell. Like, it came

of nowhere.

When Erica's car blew up.

That really took me by surprise. I
didn't expect that at all.

The most shocking twist of the theory
was when Tyler Perry had the camera move

to show us the burnt remains of Erica
after the car explosion.

At that point in the show, we had never
seen anything like this.

I mean, Veronica took the beautiful
Erica and turned her into something from

Tales of the Crypt.

So I would say that was one of the most
shocking cliffhanger moments, the

biggest twist I had ever seen in the
haves and the have -nots.

I don't have a favorite scene, but some
of the deepest moments that I felt have

been with the character Hannah.

We really have a true, genuine love for
each other. We have such a special

relationship on set that it kind of bled
into our personal life.

And now that we're towards the end of
the road, looking back, it's really fed

some of the stuff that you guys have
watched on TV.

My favorite character is Hannah. I love
Hannah.

I love the fact that she's a God
-fearing woman. She believes in God. Her

is strong, and she loves her family.

Hannah is my favorite because she
reminds me of my mom, and then I just

faith. I love the fact that she's going
to give it to you straight.

No matter who you are, she's going to
give it to you straight. That girl is a

low -down criminal. Watch your mouth.

See, that's my child.

I don't understand how you can still
claim her. I don't care if you

or not, but I do.

How?

The same way you stood by wicked -ass
Veronica all those years.

Hannah's most unforgettable thing for me
was when Candace thought she could

scare her mom into giving the money
back. So she called up somebody she knew

go and try to scare her mom.

So when Hannah saw this man up in her
kitchen, she went to town on him.

And when Candace found out about it, she
really saw the strength of her mom.

She kind of reminds me of my
grandmother. My grandmother also worked

wealthy people.

I don't think I have a favorite.

But most of my scenes with the people
are like air because they're just so

and so honest.

And every one of my scenes with my
babies, he's leply.

Just priceless.

I went to God for you again on my knees,
calling out to him for him to watch out

for you. And I heard God say something
to me that shocked me.

He told me to stop.

Coming up. I mean, oh my God, I don't
think any of us expected that to really

happen. After eight years of jaw
-dropping episodes, fans say this scene

very best moment of them all. That's a
tough one.

My all -time favorite thing. My favorite
all -time scene. Favorite scene of the

show. Will have to be. As I'm sure you
can imagine, I've had to think long and

hard about what I'm going to say. The
season two finale, when the chickens

home, when Quincy finally finds Candace
and she's going at it with Oscar.

But all the while that's happening.

I need to let you know that I am not a
perfect man.

Not by any means.

Jen, Catherine, David, and Veronica are
at the governor's headquarters, and he's

giving his speech.

And I noticed that Tyler Perry likes to
do a lot of double scenes where two

things are going on at the same time in
totally different places.

I was like, oh, my God, is Candace going
to die? Like, it got pretty eerie. And

so Jeffrey shows up, they battle it out,
and they finally kill Quincy.

Stop acting like a local.

Do you hear me?

You're acting like an old sissy at a
funeral.

My all -time favorite scene in The Have
We Have Not is when Jeffrey Harrington

stabs his mom, Veronica Harrington.

Why do you keep looking at that bottle?

Because I want to hit you over the head
with it.

Jeffrey, no.

I thought that was cool. He finally got
out his anger that he had been holding

in for so long.

I know it sounds horrible. I should not
have been happy, but I was elated.

Can you imagine he wants to hit me in
the head with a bottle?

That's like some kind of ghetto bitch in
a club. That's not my son.

That's not who you are. Didn't I tell
you to get up?

And Veronica

is just beyond wicked.

That one little stab in the implant was
not enough.

I mean, oh my God, I don't think any of
us expected that to really happen. But I

mean, he just kind of came out of
nowhere and stabbed her. So I think the

was over.

Winner.

My all -time favorite scene of the Have
and Have Not is... You still help me up.

And you told me I was beautiful.

Candace, when she reconnected with
Hannah, with her mom.

And you actually saw the love between
the two of them. And you actually got to

see the mother -daughter relationship
that you always wanted for them. That

so dope to me. And I was just like, God,
can we just keep this going? Because,

please, can we just keep this going?
Please forgive me.

It was very tear -jerking. I know I
cried. I called my friends. They cried.

got text messages. That was just a great
thing. I think I'll never forget it.

To see millions of people tuning in to
watch it every Tuesday night, I'm

by it. I'm humbled, I'm grateful, and
I'm thankful more than anything. Thank
