He's there.

Hello?

What am I doing here?

The transformation has begun.

And as soon as you learn how to listen, then you will hear her.

Hear who?

The mother of all...

Elizabeth's blood and Dracula's tears created 13 rubies of special power.

During the clan wars, most rubies were lost.

Only a few clans survived.

The Dracus, the Lycana, the Nosferith, the

Pyrrhus, the Vyran, and the Vermalia.

Thank you, Uncle.

Here we go.

I'm so hungry.

Hey, wait for me.

Where are your manners?

You sound like Hendrik.

Well, Hendrik isn't here right now.

He's chilling in Norway, so I'll be the one to teach him manners.

Hendrik, I'm going with Alisa. What?

I need to find Lars.

He's the only thing I really care for.

Are you sure?

Just be careful, okay?

I know you miss him.

We all do.

Um, I heard you were turning to your coffin this morning.

What's going on?

Oh, yeah, I just... I haven't really been sleeping well lately.

You haven't been sleeping well.

You're not just tired, you've been acting strange ever since we got into

storm.

You know who's been acting strange?

Brought your breakfast.

Thanks.

We're not far.

I can see land ahead.

Try and get some sleep before we get there.

We need you fit to find the last piece of the damn puzzle.

I'm guessing it won't be a simple snatch and grab.

Nothing's been easy.

I can't say I'm looking forward to returning to Hamburg.

Why is that?

A lot of bad memories. It's the demon!

It's the vampire!

Vampire!

Vampire!

Where have you been?

Sorry. It's forbidden to call outside.

I'm sorry.

It was me.

Must have some good ones, too.

I didn't mean to scare you.

No, I'm not.

I didn't expect to see anyone up here.

Me neither.

I didn't catch your name.

Elisa. Um, Nikki.

You alright?

You're the one that got all confused.

What are you talking about?

Alicia.

Beginning she likes me and then all of a sudden she pushes me away.

Humans and vampires don't mix well. But we did.

Which one?

I like Heaven and Earth.

Do you know it?

It's also by Byron.

I only know she walks in beauty like the night.

What was it, huh?

You can stand and think I'd fall for a boy like me, so you just had to do

something about it. I didn't do anything.

She has her own mind, and she made her own choice.

She walks in beauty like the night.

What? You don't read, Byron, do you?

I'm not doing this.

The only thing you two have in common is being vampires.

You know I can hear you two.

Shut up.

Not another word until Transylvania.

Oh, hi.

Still getting used to this stuff.

Yeah. Um, I've been thinking.

Maybe when we get to Hamburg, you could, you know, you could show me where you

met, you know? Your Nico, which we... Maybe it'll jog my memory or something.

Of course.

I don't think it works like that, but...

Do you think, um...

Do you think he'll accept me as his

mother again?

You've always been his mum.

Yeah, I know it's just that, well... Well, we've lost our

past. I just... Well, I just hope he wants a future with me.

Again.

He'd be stupid not to.

I really hope they're okay, Elisa.

I promise you, as soon as we find the knot and I untie it,

we'll find them.

We will bring them home safe.

Elisa, can I have things up to date?

I saw him copying your mother's map.

What?

What the hell are you doing?

Uh, getting us to Hamburg?

No. What game are you playing?

None. I'm helping you get to the damn piece of rope.

By copying the map for yourself?

Yes. You admit you copied it? If anything happens to the original, we're

screwed.

You saw what a little water did with it.

I thought before something like that happens again, I'd be your knight in

shining armor and have an extra.

You made it for me?

Yes. Why would I need it? I just want the rubies.

I never meant to keep it for myself. Trust me.

How can we?

You've hunted our kind for so long. You're obsessed with the rubies. I've

lied about that. You knew my intentions from the beginning.

Bringing you closer to the knot will bring me closer to what I want. I know

Give me your hand.

Feel my wrist.

I have a heartbeat.

I know you have one too.

Back in Norway, in that church when I grabbed you, I felt it then.

We are the same, Alita.

We're mixed bloods. Half human, half blood -borne.

How can you be half -blood -born?

You stopped aging.

I was the son of Maximilian, leader of the Tova.

I was his... disgrace.

When my mother wanted to let the truth come to light, he turned me into one of

his shadows to spite her.

Letting me forget who I was, who my own mother was.

He used me as his servant.

His own son.

It took my mother five years, but she freed me.

Brought me home, told me what happened to me.

She had to reprogram me from scratch.

That's when you started hunting us.

I promised my mother on her deathbed that I'd avenge her.

That I'd rid the world of what my father won.

A monster.

A vampire.

Why did you stop?

Why not strike us down while we flee? You've had the chance.

I never stopped hunting. I just found out that I had to kill the root of all

this. If I really wanted to make a difference.

Dracula.

I'm on your side, Alyssa.

I really am.

Look. We've arrived in Hember.

Okay, everyone.

We're here.

Calvino and Ivy.

You're with me.

We're going to find the last piece of the puzzle.

Abraham will procure the harbour.

Inga, help him.

Malcolm, pardon.

Don't let Tamo and Joanne out of the fight.

Tamo, come with me.

I need you here.

Keep an eye on Van Helsing.

Can you do that for me?

Okay.

What did he say about the map?

He said he made it for us.

And you seriously believe that?

Not really.

And does he know that? Of course not.

We need him with us, not against us.

I have a really bad feeling about this.

Let's just get the last piece of the puzzle, okay?

You got this, right?

my story with anyone.

I don't want them to think I'm some sort of abomination.

This is where I first met Nikki.

That was your apartment.

Which one is your house?

A burnt one.

I didn't do that to you, did I?

No.

We did.

To get away from you.

Smart thinking.

Lisa, what if the last piece of the puzzle went up in smoke with the house?

We'll have to dig through the rubble and find it.

Come on, let's go.

Wait.

Are we supposed to get in there now?

I think I've got an idea.

Rasmus? The sun for all bloodsuckers.

No.

Welcome to our today's meeting.

We welcome all the new faces.

And as you read, I'm proud that we stand united in our fight

to destroy all vampires.

We will fight those monsters.

We will take them from their puppet.

We will destroy them all.

He wants me to do something.

Fuck. That's Elisa's mother.

And I think that's her father.

Oh, this will see little Elisa in time.

I'll be waiting.

She needs to go to Hamburg.

The last piece of my puzzle to the location of the knot is hidden there.

Tell her it's always been right behind her.

It's always been right behind me.

It has always been right behind you.

Paper with some holes in it.

And some numbers.

Let me see.

We need to get out of here, now.

Thank you for showing me the way.

Dracula knows we're in Hamburg, and I think he's coming this way.
