We have to get out of here.

We just didn't pay the bill.

As soon as they realize that, then we'll be out.

Who is that woman?

The one that stole your book?

Who was she?

I don't know.

Maria!

Hey, that's not yours!

No, wait!

Just a thief.

Elizabeth's blood and Dracula's tears created 13 rubies with special powers.

During the clan wars, most rubies were lost.

Only a few clans survived.

The Dracus, the Lycana, the Nosferus, the

Pyrrhus, the Virat, and the Vermalia.

Something has happened.

Something always does. It's called life.

Don't you hear the police downtown?

Humans being human.

I have the rubies now. We are safe.

Oh, dear.

Listen, amore.

freak out when she realises I'm not home after sundown.

I'm going to be grounded for life.

You think that's bad?

I'm going to get kicked out of my school.

Is it worse?

Yeah.

It could be in a different cell.

It could be in a cell without a window.

How's the door?

You really want to break out?

You really want to be grounded for the rest of your life?

Fair point.

What are you doing?

I taught myself how to unlock windows and doors so I could sneak out when my

left for work.

What do they think?

They found something on the way just from the restaurant.

Vampires.

You've got to be kidding me.

A waitress has been bitten.

She was stripped from her clothes.

It's a thief that stole your book.

Red masks.

The chief's not about other red masks.

They seem to follow their own rules.

He wants them arrested and brought here.

We have to get out of here. Now.

Niku? Yeah?

I think the bar's loose.

I'm not as strong as you are, but maybe if you pull them then we can get out

this way.

Looks pretty fun to me.

You're strong.

Come on, we've got to get out. Come on.

Wow, your boss.

Indagina. E' troppo.

Vi ringrazio. E lo comando.

Claudio.

150 years.

150 years.

Nothing like this happened.

The chief of police and I have a gentleman's agreement.

But this... This is the beginning of the end.

Amore, you must calm down.

Look, a vampire bite.

If it is one of our youngsters, human red will change them.

They'll become monsters.

First, we have to find the biter. We need to check everyone on the ship.

I'll go searching the city. If there is a vampire out there, I'll make sure that

no one else gets bitten.

Be careful, Amore.

The red masks are on full alert.

Get everyone on deck for a head count. We need to have everybody accounted for

on the ship. We have to know who is jeopardizing all our lives.

Veloci! Come on.

Let me go. I haven't done anything. You can't arrest me.

Tell me what I've done, huh? I'm here to protect the people of Negus.

Calvina, trust me, I'll get you out of this.

All the devil.

No.

Calvina, the most dangerous of all vampire hunters.

I'll find my way back from here.

No, wait, wait.

When will I see you again?

Tomorrow, near the library, there's a wishing well.

I'm with you there.

Please.

Okay. Why are you crying?

What?

Did I do something wrong?

No, no.

It's just an eyelash.

I'm really sorry. I just... I have to go.

I'm sorry. Wait, no. Wait.

Wait.

Everybody on deck for a head count.

What's going on?

Well, this is the new procedure which we are going to establish every night.

For now.

Finish up. Hurry. You're wanted on deck now.

Come on. You heard her.

Come on, everybody grab your coat.

What's all this fuss about?

I don't know.

If you don't know, find out.

We tend to respond.

All right.

Something bad has happened in the city.

I think a vampire did it.

One of us?

Yeah.

Damn.

You're wanted on deck. Hurry.

Joanne, come on.

Let's go, let's go.

Shano.

Hey.

Elisa's out there.

We have to help her.

No, we don't.

She left us hanging.

She is still our friend.

Yours, maybe.

Not mine.

Yeah, I know you like her.

You know, you are such a coward for a Dracus boy.

Wait.

I'll help you.

I want to see two lines.

Two big lines.

Quick, quick, quick!

There you are.

We're just about to start counting down.

What? Where are you?

What are you doing off the ship?

Waiting for you.

Why?

I was really persuasive.

Go up.

Starboard side.

They won't be looking in a few seconds.

Why? Just go.

Just go.

Come on, come on.

Everybody in line, please.

Everybody in line.

Good. Very good.

Nice night for a walk. Take him!

Take him!

Last of Drakkar, get on deck!

Hey, whoa!

Back in formation!

Hey, whoa!

Take him below, now!

Thanks.

You're welcome.

on a leash.

Lars of Drakas.

Why am I down here with the animals?

I've done nothing wrong.

You were off, Elizabetha. Trying to help find the vampire responsible.

And how did you know we are searching for someone?

Lucky guess.

What are you smiling at?

There isn't much for me to enjoy these days.

But making sure you've learned something.

Fills me still with a bit of joy.

Good.

That's good.

It's good that Drakas have the ability to learn something instead of

Is that all you got?

I'm so glad you asked.

Yes, a silver cross.

Its power is so great it'd take a Nosferat, a Tantarite master.

Did you leave the ship to help yourself to some human red? No.

I stepped in my coffin.

Ask my shadow vampire if you don't believe me. Did you see any red man?

No. Did they know you were here? I was just on the pier.

You're a Trachas.

How do I know you speak the truth?

Get that thing.

Away from me.

Conte Claudio and I want a word with this one.

Before you enjoy yourself too much.

Sorry.

Lisa.

So, what is going on with you?

Why did you go out into the city and don't... Say nothing.

It's best if you don't know.

It's too dangerous.

Is it about that vampire that bit someone?

Yeah. No, you have to tell me.

You are not protecting me by not telling me.

She's not one of us.

I've never seen such deep, dark eyes.

It's really better if you don't get mixed up in this.

Young lady, I need to work with you.

2 .5.

Show me your fangs, boy.

Show me your fangs.

Show me your fangs.

Three.

Quite impressive.

What might fangs have to do with anything?

What's going on?

I wasn't off the ship. Did you drink human red? No, I didn't. When a vampire

consumes human blood before the age of 18, the consequences are extremely

dangerous. I didn't consume him. I didn't even kiss him.

What?

I... I met a boy.

A human.

He has no idea that I'm a vampire, and he was really, really nice.

A boy.

A human boy.

This is all my fault.

They, Melina, told me keep a close eye on her, but no, I let my stupid mind

wander elsewhere.

Elsewhere?

Where did your mind wander to?

Hendrik?

I met someone as well.

The most beautiful shadow in the world.

Her name is Rafaela.

We are all fools in love.

Hendrik!

No one can find out.

You know shadow vampires are forbidden to love.

Guess we both have secrets now.

He is nice.

And?

Caught any vampires lately?

How's the new book?

Look,

the day you have children, okay, you'll understand.

Sometimes the truth, it's complicated and I don't want you to get hurt, okay?

Then stop treating me like a child.

You will always be my child.

And I will move heaven and earth to protect you.

That's one of her favourites.

What?

Heaven and Earth.

The girl I met in Hamburg, Elisa.

I thought she liked her.

I saw her again.

You did?

Yeah, she's nice.

I really like her. I think you'll like her too, Mum. She's a really... Me too.

Be careful with your heart.

Sometimes...

Life without attachment can be so much easier.

Attachment? Is that what I am?

Oh, Deacon, come on, you know what I mean.

Hey.

Why do you want to see me?

I need your help.

Elisa has seen a vampire in town.

And Elisa doesn't know who she is, but I do.

She's an upyri.

Aren't they supposed to be extinct? No, they're not.

Her name is Tonka.

Tonka? How do you know all this?

My brother and I, we've seen her before.

Where?

Dracula's castle.

What? Dracula has given our life can of ruby to Tonka to allow her to

shapeshift. And I need you to help me get it back.

So what are you saying?

Dracula's alive?

How's that possible?

Elisa, I have something to tell you.

Elisa? What is that?

What's going on?

I saw the future.

A possible future.

Elizabeth, I will free you from hell, my love.

I promise. I will never let a girl untie the knot.
