Tang Yijie was actually Jiang's connection to the government.

He helped Jiang get the entire project of the old town renovation.

People are saying Jiang did it, it doesn't make sense.

Hmm.

I checked Tang's background.

Tang Yijie grew up with his father in official circles.

Later. he met a woman named Lin Hui.

married her and they have a daughter.

He climbed the ladder pretty quick after China's reform.

Lin Hui studied in University of Chinese Medicine in her early years:

well known as a campus belle with lots of affairs

She met Jiang and Tang there.

She broke up with Jiang

after knowing he was already married.

Lin Hui.

See you. Bye bye.

Ms. Lin.

It's quite busy in the restaurant.

Tang had a very active social life

He barely talked to me about his work

Not to mention who he had met.

I heard you used to run a clothes shop, is that true?

sold it two years ago.

It was quite a happy time when I look back now.

Slept in till noon every day. Went to the shop.

Traded in. traded out.

Sometimes I'd go to the tea house

to have a morning tea with my partners,

or go to yoga

with some friends

Was Ah Yun there?

There was a time we'd always meet at the yoga studio

Later I heard something happened to her

People say she went missing

Some say she went back to Taipei

What do you think?

I think she is still here.

After what happened to Tang.

I did feel like I saw her once

She is very kind and beautiful.

Actually. I'd been a victim of domestic abuse.

It is a relief for me that Tang is gone.

Thought you lived at Xiang She Villa.

This is our old place.

It'll be demolished soon.

I just like to live here for a while and pack up.

I'm sorry. I've got no one to fix the light.

What's wrong?

You have a tattoo.

Haven't you seen a tattoo before?

Never seen one like yours

Actually... I did it for covering the scars

Nuo, go back to your room

What are you doing?

Hello.

You're no longer a part of my world.

It was nothing but a shadow play

Don't leave a broken love here

You shouldn't be here in this world of two

Why shall we say goodbye?

Why shall we be together?

Even though you're not on my side today. I'm still who am

You said love will never change, you said you love me

You're now no longer on my side, I'm stil who I am.
