My name's Trevor Nelson, and I'll be guiding you through the alphabet from A

Z, showing you just some of the fantastic magical moments Dynamo has

over the last four seasons of Magician Impossible.

And Dynamo himself is also going to be on hand to tell us about some of his

amazing magic and share his thoughts on his magical career so far.

I think I've got the best job in the world, really.

I do magic, which is my passion, and I get to put smiles on people's faces for

living. It doesn't get better than that.

And what better place to start our alphabetical journey than the letter A?

A is for amazing.

So let's take a look at the amazing dynamo in action.

The reason I continue to perform magic and just can't get enough of it is

because everywhere I go and perform, every person's reaction is different.

I took the guy's key and put it onto his friend's headphones, they went crazy.

You can see in their faces, although they don't speak English, they don't

express it in a way that we might understand.

Just the expression on their faces says it all.

B is for beans.

Magic beans.

When Dynamo visited New York at Halloween time, he stopped by a sweet

But there were some customers that weren't expecting to see Mr. Magician

Impossible.

He asked Anna to choose one color.

And I think you choose blue.

And then he took the cup with all the different jelly beans, put it on the

ground.

And one swift move, it turned all blue.

And then he poured them out, and they were all blue.

And the cup was empty.

I couldn't believe it.

And we could eat them, too, so, like, you know, they're real. They're, like,

raw or anything.

Yeah!

C is for card.

Card trick.

A Dynamo Speciality.

So if it's these four cards, then I've got to show you this.

When I see a pack of playing cards, I see 52 Potter bullets.

If you actually take a look at the construction of the deck, it's quite

interesting. There's 52 cards in a deck, and there's 52 weeks in a year.

There's four suits, and there's four seasons in a year.

If you add up all of the pips on every single one of the cards, it adds up to

365.

So just that fact alone kind of makes cards in themselves quite interesting.

When I was performing for those guys on Portobello

Road, they were watching so closely. They didn't take their eyes off my

Z is for none other than, yes you've guessed it, Dynamo.

The name Dynamo was given to me when I was performing Magic in

2001 in New York at the Hilton Hotel.

Half way through one of my shows, a guy stood up and shouted, this kid's a

dynamo. And for the rest of the week whilst I was out there, Everyone was

referring to me as the Dynamo Kid, so I guess the name kind of stuck.

Having Dynamo as my stage name I think works out perfectly.

The meaning of the Dynamo is a small generator that produces electrifying

results, which I think is quite fitting to the type of magic that I do.

And also, when I perform, I want to make sure that my performances are

memorable, and not only are my performances memorable,

and the magic that I do. But I also want people to remember me.

I just hope when people think of the word magic, Dynamo comes to mind.

E is for Euro and the European Championships.

Back in 2012, two weeks before the final, Dynamo predicted the outcome of

European Championship.

He then placed a £1 bet and delivered that betting slip to the ITV studios

sealed in a red envelope.

The letter's correct. I'll give it to Philip for you.

How you doing, mate? Doing all right, then. I'm good, man. So, basically, I've

got... Package for Philip Schofield.

It's important that he gets it.

It's delivered on today's date, 22nd of June, 2012.

It's sealed.

I want to make sure that it stays sealed until I see him next.

So if you can keep it safe and give it to him and tell him to keep it safe,

would be perfect.

When I went on to this morning, I'm not going to lie, I was feeling pretty

confident because I knew what bet I'd placed. I knew what was in that

I also knew, but I placed a good bet.

So apparently a couple of weeks ago, I'm going to ask, Dynamo took a trip to our

studio to deliver a mysterious package to... Brett.

Brett. Brett knew about this. And you sealed it, right? You sealed it inside a

case. Absolutely. And that was... I had to move from my desk upstairs. The 22nd

of June.

Yeah, so almost two weeks ago, right? Two weeks ago. A week ago last Friday.

Yeah. Now, inside there is actually a gift for a charity that I've done a lot

work with over the years called the Teenage Cancer Trust.

So whatever is in here is a present for them.

Yeah, it's a present for them, but it's live TV, so, you know, what I've got

planned could potentially go wrong. I'm so excited. Can we open it? Go for it.

I feel this. I've got an envelope.

The betting flip.

Phil, look.

It says you. You didn't win.

So, fill it. Mm -hmm.

And it's signed.

There's the date on the back.

There's a betting slip right there.

Okay.

And if you want to look down at the winner at the bottom, obviously the

was yesterday.

Spain by two or more goals.

And everyone who watched knows that it was 4 -0 for Spain.

What are your odds?

The odds are actually 10 ,000 to 1. Now, to get it to be that, I had to do an

accumulator bet.

Because not only did I bet on the winner, but I also bet on the outcome of

match in the quarter -finals. You can see there, Portugal, Germany, Spain,

all through. Italy on penalties.

The semi -final, Spain to win on penalties against Italy. Final winner,

Two or more goals.

Can I just point out, though, that that does say to Phil on this.

Contractually, I think... I think everyone at home will agree that Phil

give it to the... I think you're absolutely right.

That is just the incredible round of applause, because that's just

Unbelievable. For me, magic's all about the element of surprise.

So when I went on to see Phil and Holly, on this morning to unveil my

prediction. They had no clue.

So you could see the surprise on their faces when they opened up and saw my

betting slip and my prediction for the Euros was spot on. I was a little bit

confident because I already knew what I'd placed, but I didn't want to be too

smug about it. You know, I wanted to let Phil and Holly have their moment.

But the best part of all was being able to go and donate the wings to Teenage

Cancer Trust.

I do a lot of shows all over the world and get to meet a lot of amazing people,

but the people at the ward of Teenage Cancer Trust...

Just blow me away.

The amount of hard work they put in to give the patients better lives and just

try and improve the quality for people living in those circumstances.

I've done a lot of amazing things in my time, but just handing over that money

was one of the most emotional times that I've ever experienced in my career.

Wow!

Thank you so much. This is going to help us support so many more young people

with cancer. So it's absolutely amazing. Thank you very much. Thank you very,

very much. It's absolutely amazing.

The idea that one pound could result in 10 ,000 pounds is kind of just beyond my

imagination. I can't imagine what we might be able to do in the future.

And the moment when Dynamo met up with his good friend Ian Brown.

One of my all -time favourite pieces of magic from the Magician Impossible

is for jump And the moment Dynamo leaped through the crowd.

Nowadays,

when I go out to clubs and stuff like that, I do get mobbed quite a bit, which

is kind of awkward fun. The only thing is, when you want to leave, nobody wants

to let you go home.

And when I was at that club, I decided that the only way out was to jump over

everybody.

Well, we were just on a night out, and all of a sudden, we saw Dynamo on the

stage. I thought he just, like, knew the DJ and he was getting on with him. I

was like, what's he doing? He flies over everybody. I was like, oh, my God.

Just dived over his head like Batman. It was weird.

I do say you've always got to think of a cool exit.

I think that was a pretty good way to go.

heartwarming is seeing their reaction to his magic

in the uk we have ice cream vans all over the place but in rio they just have

popcorn stands everywhere and the kids love it

The best thing about doing magic for the kids is that they've got no cynicism

and no scepticism.

They're so young and kind of open -minded that they believe that anything

possible. that when they watch, they watch for pure entertainment.

L is for legacy.

Dynamo is the master of memorable moments.

Magic that will indeed be his legacy.

Creating unforgettable memories for all that see it. And here's why.

When I was younger, I nearly died.

And whilst I was in hospital, I was thinking, if I had died then, what would

people remember me for?

And at that point, I didn't really have anything.

But I knew I was passionate about magic. So when I got out of hospital, I made

it my mission, my ambition, to create a legacy through magic, so that hopefully,

in 100 years from now, when I'm long gone, when people think of the word

they'll think of the word dynamo, and that will be my legacy.

Over the last few years, I've had the luxury of travelling the world in many

different ways.

I've been on the odd private jet, to the back of a motorbike, on a horse, but

the best way I've ever travelled had to be floating at the side of a London bus.

M is for mime reading, and a very strange prediction Dynamo performed at a

bookstore in Paris.

So whilst I was in New York, I was driving around an area called Five

and I came across this crew doing the double dutch and the skipping.

And I decided I wanted to show them something, because they were doing some

crazy stuff. They were, like, doing, like, backflips whilst they were

which was incredible.

So I decided, I'm going to show these guys something, but it's going to have

be incredible and amazing.

When I first started doing magic, I decided that I wanted to use everyday

objects in my performances.

I wanted to borrow people's coins, watches, keys, whatever they've got in

pockets.

And nowadays, everyone always has a mobile phone.

So it makes sense to try and do some magic incorporating a phone.

And anyway, I'm going to have to go because I've got a phone call coming

through.

In this day and age, we've got everything available to us on the touch

button. So people's attention spans, I think, are a lot smaller than they may

have used to have been. So it's really important that when I approach some

people to show them some magic, that I hit them with something quick first.

R is for Rio.

So when he was chatting to me, I was looking at my watch thinking, I love

party and I'd love to stay and hang out, but I've really got to get back up

north. So I had to make a hasty exit, and I figured magic was the best way to

get out of there.

It's for surprise.

Here we see Dynamo in India performing a very surprising piece of magic on the

streets of Mumbai.

When we filmed in India, it was so different from anywhere else I've ever

before. And it was so hot out there, the temperatures, compared to the UK. We're

not used to it being super hot, so in the blazing heat, like filming out there

and trying to interact with people who didn't speak your language, you know,

trying to get them to... take notice and pay attention to what I wanted to show

them and the magic.

It was quite a difficult task.

But having been out there now and come back and, you know, for want of a better

expression, survive the magic of India, watching the show back now is just so

gratifying. And I think the India episode is going to be one of my

the Empire of Medicine Impossible series or serieses.

Getting from one place to another has never been easier for Dynamo.

Thanks to his patented teleport system, he can literally disappear from one

place and reappear somewhere else, as he demonstrated here in Miami, Florida.

You is for unexplained. So here's Dynamo to take us through some of the weird

and wonderful theories behind his magic.

Over the years, I've had people give me some crazy explanations for what I do.

When I walked across the River Thames, I had people saying that I was walking on

tortoises that were swimming across the Thames.

They were trained tortoises that would take me from one side to the other.

I don't think I've ever tried to train a tortoise.

I haven't, but I reckon it's pretty hard.

One of the funniest explanations for my magic was when I walked down the side of

the L .A. Times building and some guy explained that I had giant suction cups

on the bottom of my shoes that would allow me to stick to the walls and walk

down it, which is an interesting idea.

I don't think it would work.

So, what the heck?

I found there's two ways that people can react to magic.

One type of person will watch it and just love it and appreciate it for what

is, for the art form. But then the other type of people, they watch it and they

want to know how it's possible.

And both types of people are great, because at the end of the day, they're

talking about the magic.

In fact, I find that the people who go to the length to really try and come up

with possible explanations, even more flattering, because it means that this

person cares so much about what I've done, that they will take the time and

effort to try and make a video explanation about it. Some people say

for magic, but for me, it keeps the magic alive in a way,

me to keep creating new stuff to keep people thinking.

W. W is for weight.

Weighing in at only eight stone, Dynamo is no bodybuilder, but he shocked a few

weightlifters down at the Hendon Police Academy gym in North London when he

showed up to show them all up.

You can bench press me, right? Do you reckon?

Ready?

When I was younger, I always found being quite small and slender was a

disadvantage.

It got me in a lot of trouble in the sense that I was an easy target for the

bullies. They would pick me up, put me inside wheelie bins, push me down hills,

pretty much kind of throw me about and do whatever they wanted to me. So as I

got older,

and kind of honed my magical skills, I've taken that disadvantage and make it

into an advantage.

So when I can stop a boxer from lifting me or push an incredibly heavy weight,

to be able to harness that through my magic, it's given me loads of confidence

and hopefully it will inspire others.

So, someone of my stature, pretty impossible for me to lift this sort of

People always ask me what it was like lifting that weight.

And the simple answer is, it was bloody heavy.

I was watching very carefully as that weight was pressing down on his arms

to see if I could see what he's doing, but...

I was amazed. I was amazed. He was straining there, but he was actually

that weight. Amazing. Amazing.

Absolutely incredible.

Wayne was struggling, and he did it. It's incredible.

X is for double XL.

Dynamo loves the big illusion.

From walking across the River Thames in London to walking down a building in LA

and levitating in Rio de Janeiro.

Every show ends with a big, big finale.

When I first started performing street magic, I always had... ambitions to take

it to the next level and to, you know, make it bigger and better.

And with Magician Impossible, I've had the opportunity to really, I guess,

double excel the magic that I do.

It also allows me to give people a whole new perspective.

on the world, on different landmarks of the world, on how you might perceive

things. Because at the end of the day, when I perform magic, I want to try and

open up people's minds, get them to think about things differently.

Why?

Why is for Yorkshire.

West Yorkshire, to be exact, and Dynamo's hometown of Bradford.

No matter where I go in the world, there's no place I feel more at home

back in Yorkshire, in Bradford. The best part about it is, you know, my grandma

cooks me food, and she makes the best food ever.

Yorkshire puddings, here, with corned beef hash in the middle, it's perfect.

My favourite meal there is. I'm a Yorkshire boy through and through.

Dynamo has been performing magic since he was a young boy.

His series Magician Impossible started back in 2011, and since then he's been

travelling the world performing magic for thousands of people.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for the boy from Bradford, but now the Magician

Impossible journey has come to an end.

Dynamo can now look forward to what's next on the horizon because there's one

thing for sure. He isn't going to hang up his magic hat any time soon.

Who'd have thought that all those years ago, an 11 -year -old kid in Bradford

who had a passion for magic that was introduced to him by his grandpa could

sitting here today talking to you guys about all these crazy things that I've

done over the last few years.

It's just been such an incredible journey.

I've got to live my wildest dreams, and I've got to share the experiences with

you guys. And to be honest, without you guys, that wouldn't be a success.

So this isn't the end of the show.

It's the end of Edition Impossible, but our magical journey is definitely going

to continue.

I need to get a few Zs and a bit of rest for a little while, but I'll definitely

be back.

You've got to be kidding me, man.

But right now, I think the only thing left to do is what I do at the end of

every piece of magic on the show, and that's sleep.
