But I'm loving all the controversy and
all the talk about magic.

Hi everybody, welcome to Even Brilliant
World of Magic.

Now what you're about to witness is the
most amazing piece of magic ever.

Magic has allowed me to travel all over
the world.

From the streets of Miami to the peaks
of the Austrian Alps.

The townships of South Africa to the
favelas of Rio de Janeiro.

From Vegas to LA.

Venice to Singapore.

Paris to Varanasi.

But as my journey came to a close, I
wanted to head back to where it all

The North.

I was on a road trip back to Bradford.

But along the way, I wanted to visit a
couple of my favourite northern cities.

First stop, Manchester.

I was in Manchester and had headed down
to the Parklife Festival in Heaton Park,

which attracts tens of thousands of
festival -goers, no matter the weather.

Later that afternoon, I met up with
British soul sensation Sam Smith after

performance on the main stage.

Yeah, let's try this.

I want to try and get inside your mind a
little bit. Okay.

I'm scared. I want you to think of any
artist that's performing over the

weekend. Okay.

Actually, it's really odd, because
normally you can figure out a way in

head that it's not real, but that
actually genuinely looks like magic.

Among the other acts playing at Parklife
was Grammy award -winning British

singer -songwriter Foxy, who I met up
with in her dressing room. How are you

Yes. How was it up there? It was insane
seeing everyone sing all of my songs

back to me.

And you were going a bit mad for it as

Yes, I was, yeah.

When you're performing, have you ever

I haven't actually, no. I haven't ever
injured myself, luckily. Have you done a

stage dive yet?

Yep, I have stage dived. I've nearly
done it, but I'm quite good at flicking

back up and saving it.

As much as I love the comfort of

I didn't want to miss the real festival.

So as dust started to close in, I
decided to venture out into the field.

I love meeting fans, and I guess it's
ironic that despite all the years trying

to get backstage, This is where I feel
the most alive.

It changed. He said Dynamo, and then he
said Emmett, and felt my way as well. He

Later that evening, I headed into
Manchester City Centre to meet up with

legend and former world champion, Ricky
Hatton.

Under normal circumstances, I'd be like,
yeah, yeah, yeah.

city's best -known entrepreneurs,
Anthony and Chris Donnelly.

international fame as the brains behind

Later that afternoon, I hit the road
again, heading west towards the port

of Liverpool.

As the day came to a close, I decided to
take in some of Liverpool's pubs and

bars.

I headed into town to a local skateboard

While I was there, I had a surprise for

After dropping my nan off home, I headed
to Centenary Square in Bradford's city

centre, which was buzzing with people as
the sun came out.

Everyone's seen it?

I've never seen that in my life.

Although the quality of life in Bradford
has greatly improved since I was a kid,

it still remains in the top 10 % of most
deprived areas in the UK, with over 40

,000 children living below the poverty
line.

Fortunately, charities such as One in a
Million have helped set up numerous

community projects for the local kids.

It was almost time for me to leave
Bradford and head back down to London.

But before I left, I wanted to drop in
to see my best mate Johnny, who works at

a youth enterprise for kids who've been
expelled from school.

After

meeting

the kids, I decided to drop in on one of
their lessons to see if I'd be able to

hold their attention.

How's everyone doing?

Good. You good? You alright?

Teachers alright at the back?

Yeah, all good.

It's better with teachers at the back,
isn't it?

Is it okay if I use some of this stuff?

He went and started moving and writing
in the paper. It's dead weird.

I come to work and then I see a bloke
floating in the air.

Maybe magic does exist.

I was back down in London, and I'd
headed to a youth centre in Tower

meet Harold Tillman, the patron of
Variety Children's Charity.

Harold had asked me to become an
ambassador for the charity, in order to

raise some much -needed funds.

But I thought it would be a good idea to
come down and meet the kid.

Good morning.

Hey, good morning.

Welcome to Manchester.

Oh, no, this is exciting.

All the kids in here, yeah? All the kids
in here, come and meet everybody.

You know, Variety, a 65 -year -old
charity, has been the most amazing

for children over that period of time.

This mud shoot is one of the venues that
kids come in, play, meet each other.

You're working with me to help build
this. I think it's incredible. Thank you

much. Shall we go and meet the kids?

Yeah, come and meet the kids.

Can you make an Eiffel Tower out of
cards? Yeah!

I don't know, I mean I can do some
pretty cool things with cards, like I

make some cool sculptures like this, you
know.

In London, there's loads of big
sculptures in there. You've got the...

We've got the Walkie Talkie building.

Big Ben as well, yeah.

There's the Gherkin as well. There's
some really, like, funny names for all

different buildings in London, right?

Eve? Eve? If you were to give a name for
one of the London buildings, what would

you call it?

Um, carrot.

Obviously, you know, these are just
cards and I can't make a big... carrot

sculpture out of these but imagine right
here you're looking out over London

So we've got the gherkin.

He told me to choose the name of the
building.

I chose carrot.

And then he was, like, placing cards
onto the window, and then a

carrot showed up.

I don't know, I feel like there's got to
be something behind it all, but then

seeing it in real life, it's just
amazing.

The following week, I had a surprise for
the kids I'd met at Mud Shoe.

I'd arranged a special visit to the view
of the Shard.

which sits on the 72nd floor of Europe's
highest building and has the most

spectacular viewpoint of London.

How you doing? You alright?

Good to see you.

I know, I know. It's a scary view, isn't
it? Look it out.

You can see everything from here. It's
the highest building in Europe. Do you

know that?

Is this the first time you've been to
the Shard? Yeah.

It's quite a crazy building, right?

We're actually outside now.

I've been lucky enough to see some
incredible things in my short lifetime.

And I truly believe that in order to
inspire the next generation, we have to

show them the possibilities that lie all
around us.

Real magic isn't about tricking people.

It's not about deception or fakery.

It's about doing something that nobody
thought possible.

Taking an idea and bringing it to life
no matter the odds.

It's about inspiring those around us and
showing that we are only limited by our

imagination.

Many people say they don't believe in
magic.

but for me it is totally, inexplicably,
real.

As the kids left, I took a moment to
look out across this vast city, and it

suddenly felt like a huge part of my
life was coming to an end.

When I started out on this adventure,
armed only with my camcorder and a

I never would have imagined how far it
would have taken me.

Magic has literally changed my life and
hopefully I've been able to share some

of my experiences with all of you.
