We contacted a cab driver who was later identified as Mr. Jeremy Jensen.

Mr. Jensen and I had a brief interaction.

He ended up dragging me down the road in his cab, dragged me about 120 feet.

The rear tire ran over my leg.

Got a concussion, 25 stitches.

who's booked into jail, subsequently released on bond, has not reappeared

I think I can promise you we're going to get him.

We're on our way to Jensen's last known address.

A fellow deputy being injured in the line of duty, it's just heartbreaking.

The first thing you want to do is you want to catch the guy. You want to catch

the guy in all cases, but it hits home when it's one of your own. No doubt

that.

We have a way of tracking these guys, basically using cellular technology. It

gives us a pretty decent location of where the guy is at.

There's definitely ways that he can defeat the system, at least temporarily.

So sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

We did really have to kind of expend a lot of manpower, a lot of hours, a lot

time before we finally got him, and we're happy.

We've been hunting for him for several days, so it's nice to finally have him

custody. We'll have to see what he did.

Now there's something that we're all going to enjoy doing, and that's getting

back to the office and telling Frank we got the guy. That's going to make him

very happy.
