When I search, a lot of times I'm always searching in places where narcotics

could be.

It's real common for these guys to hide drugs and stuff in a kid's room, like in

their toys.

For them, they think that's probably the most clever place to hide it.

I think if people are going to be slinging drugs, it's really good if they

have kids.

What really gets me in this case is that there's kids living in this house.

Drugs, weapons, violence, they all go together, that's for sure.

I just don't understand how you can put your own people in harm's way.

The people who are dealing don't seem to think twice about any consequences.

Being a police officer is rewarding, it's fun, it's fulfilling.

The thing that makes us different from most people is that we raised our hand

and we took an oath, and the real guys will give their life for a total

at the drop of a hat if he has to.

But conversely, in looking at this beautiful baby and his mother, I also

at all my other fellow officers and myself in a sort of a new light, you

and hope and pray every day that we all get to come home at night.
