Oh, see that there?
This is a load car full of dope. It's everywhere.
Oh, man, you could get high by just walking in here. Damn.
Me. That team just got ripped off.
Go down the stairs! Do it now!
I make a living with the movies.
But for the past 20 years, I've also been a cop.
I swore an oath to uphold the law, and my new beat is Arizona.
When my team and I tangle with some of the roughest bad guys in America, it's
dangerous out here.
That's what we do.
Amen.
We're going out to do some SWAT training. We're setting up different
to drill together so that in real life, when we've got an inner home that's
dangerous, we don't get shot. And if the bad guys try to shoot us, we're the
ones who shoot them.
Ready?
Sheriff's office.
These days I live in Arizona, and this is my new team.
Suspect's down.
Give me a shot.
I got you. You got shot in the leg, man. You'll recover from that.
They'll put a steel rod in your leg.
In our SWAT division and what we do, in my opinion, we're more cutthroat than
Hollywood.
What?
We're going into some of the most dangerous situations, but not backing
My man. Personally, I consider Steven, you know, one of the boys right now.
We had a nice little training here, and we're going to go out and get some bad
guys.
You back there, boy?
Who had garlic, man?
Is that you, man? You had the garlic?
Italian restaurant.
That is disgusting.
You know what? I don't care what the smell is. If it's inside a small car
ten smelly dudes in there, any of the smells are terrible.
In Maricopa County, Arizona, the cops are busy fighting a lot of very, very
challenging crime.
Narco -traffickers are trapping narcotics every day.
Every day.
Our guys in the feds, we're all out together patrolling, looking for
vehicles.
All units be advised, there is a car speeding down, 85.
He's running cars off the road.
Very reckless. He needs to get stopped.
He's probably doing over 100.
We got a car flying out of the border area, desert area, where there's all the
narco -trafficking.
I'll bet you a lot of money that car has drugs in it. He's going over 100 miles
an hour. That car's going to be full of drugs, boy.
He's going to get somebody killed.
Oh!
Just hit a piano.
No one's having nothing.
He looks tall, huh?
Still a lot.
Yeah, we called the paramedic.
Dope.
You see this?
See that there?
All dope.
Look.
Look, there's even bales in the street.
It's everywhere.
What ended up happening is at one point he went head -on into opposing traffic,
clipped a car.
The driver got flipped from the car.
You could still smell the dust in the air, tires spinning.
It's a miracle he's still alive.
The car that he hit was very, very lucky. It was a minor impact, and the
individual was able to drive off.
You see the bail? Yeah.
This is, you know, a load car.
As you can see, full.
As full as it could get of dope.
My guess on that load is a thousand pounds.
Well over a million dollars worth of drugs on the street.
These hurt pretty bad.
The drug cartel, the lords are telling them, hey, you better get my dope across
or I'm going to kill you.
It's as simple as it gets.
So they don't want to get caught by a... I mean, you know, the long and the
short is we got a thousand pounds of drugs off the street today and this
into custody. So it's not a bad night.
All right, everybody, let's load it up.
This case may be closed, but these narcotics, they're going to keep working
us.
When we see drugs, they're brought back into a property storage.
Holy moly.
Oh, man, you could get high by just walking in here.
We're going to have to take a piss test.
Detective John Graham, a good friend of mine, is one of our best investigators.
And one of his specialties is narcotic.
Basically, we just keep a small quantity here.
Just for personal use. Just for personal use, yeah. This is just a weekend,
basically.
Okay, all joking aside.
As you know, Chief, we have 5 ,000 pounds available to us. We keep this
we can do our narcotic things when we need to. All right. Take a big slice of
crust there, Chief.
Tomorrow we have a very, very important narcos thing, and this narcotic here is
going to be the bait.
You can smell it. It's very, very pungent, very, very high quality.
Oh, yeah. That's fresh stuff, that's for sure.
We got pretty good stuff here.
Hopefully it'll help us get the bad guys.
Tomorrow we're going to put it into a truck, drive it over to the bad guys and
see what they think.
John, what you got, brother?
All right.
Today we've got a couple of guys that have come into town, and they're looking
to basically purchase some marijuana from us.
So we will facilitate that.
What we're going to do is take a couple hundred pounds of dope to the bad guys
using our white Tahoe as an undercover vehicle.
And when they see the dope, they bring the money out.
When they see the money, it's time for us to take care of things. Yes, sir. We
know what to do then. We'll take them into custody.
Here's the bad guys.
Alexander Matarino and Jermaine Kledger.
Nice guy.
All right, let's load up, guys.
Right now what we're going to do is just sort of hang around the area,
lay back, wait until we get word that Dubai has gone down, then we'll run in
and...
Move up the buyer.
Be advised, the undercovers have just met the suspect.
Get ready to move.
Hey, he's got a gun and he just pointed it at us.
He's got a gun, but he just pointed it at us.
Looks like our teams got ripped off.
We're in pursuit.
What happened was there was a meet
between the undercover detectives and a vehicle.
At the time of the exchange, the bad guys pulled guns and actually took the
marijuana from the undercover detectives.
They got ripped off by a rip crew, which means they come in, they're wearing
vests, they're heavily armed, they're trying to rip off other drug dealers.
So we've got to be very, very careful and really on our guard.
What are we looking for? What's the vehicle?
It's a white Dodge truck, a single car. It's a white pickup truck.
They're going to be coming from south to north.
They're coming this way.
Two of the three suspects are in a white Dodge pickup. We got a direction of
flight. I don't think they could have gotten far.
Right towards it. Is that a Dodge? Dodge.
We advise we're approaching a suspect pickup.
They found it. They just picked it up.
I'm turning lights on you.
Come on, man. Move.
Clear on the right. Clear on the right.
Right there, right there.
Yeah, I see him up there.
There's a white pickup truck.
Goodness, we just caught two of the armed suspects.
Bad news is there's one armed suspect still out there.
These guys ain't talking, so we got to go find them.
What kind of vehicle are we looking for? Okay, white Tahoe.
Arizona 10 -10.
There's one vehicle that's still standing, which is a white Tahoe.
All right, buddy, we've got the units watching the freeway.
Let's head on back to the area where the rip took place. All right, they're
going to head back into that area somewhere, probably.
The rabbit sometimes comes back to the hole.
This is general vicinity where the rip took place, and sometimes what they'll
is they'll have two houses.
They'll rip from a certain place and then make it to another house, which is
close by, to lower their chances of being spotted.
And so we're just kind of looking around here to see if there's anything
peculiar or anybody fits a description that we're looking for.
There's a way you can tell if a car has a big load of drugs in it that sits
very, very heavy on its back axle.
Is that a tile?
No, no drugs in that car.
Nope.
This is where the rip took place, guys.
This is where they came out of right here.
They were hiding in that garage and came out and ripped it.
Wow.
You can see they took off right over that curb, so it looks like they went to
the right.
They took that path, you see.
Did you hear that?
How many minutes do you think we are? About ten?
Yeah. Let's go.
We just got intel that the remaining suspect has been spotted in an apartment
complex near here.
We know that the suspect has a firearm of some kind.
I just got intel that the remaining suspect has been spotted in an apartment
complex near here.
We know that the suspect has threatened two people with a firearm.
There's too many civilians in that apartment complex, so we're going to
deploy SWAT.
I'm looking to see if we can get a map of the layout of the inside of this bar.
Where's the front entrance of that?
Right here.
We've got to be really careful.
Just in case he wants to come out blazing, you know what I mean?
All right, let's do this.
You ready, buddy?
Punching out.
Plate it up and kit it up, and what we're trying to do is get our guys into
position. Right now, the police department has eyes on our suspect's
Now that us and our attack team is moving in, we replace them.
So in the event the subject does come out of the apartment, we're in position
take him down.
Get these kids out of here. Now.
Kids, hey!
Hey! Go back to your apartment right now. Go that way. Go that way.
You know this guy has a gun.
His friend has already pulled a gun on deputies.
We have no idea what he's going to do.
He could try to shoot his way out.
Come outside.
Hey, come to me. Come to me. Do it now.
Come to me. Do it now.
Put your hands on top of your head. Back up.
Hands behind your back.
So we had SWAT rollout, and as you saw, we got up there, used a DD, a little
flashbang. The gentleman came out, and it looks like we found the dope in there
and the gun that we used in the caper.
We caught two suspects earlier.
Now we have the third one.
It's been a long, busy day and night.
Do you want to take it to the car or do it here? We'll take it to the car. We'll
load it up.
We're able to locate our marijuana that was ripped on the initial deal.
The marijuana that we had was worth well over $100 ,000.
So you have an understanding of how big these drug deals can be. We have guns
and 200 pounds of marijuana.
So all in all, it was a good deal.
I'll do a little.
It's good we got these drugs off the street.
In the grand scheme, it's just a drop in the bucket. I know there's a lot more
out there, but, you know, we'd have to do our job and keep on keeping on.
