what it's like to lose a parent.

And it's not something I would wish on
anybody.

To not be able to see my mom or call my
mom or hug her or just be with her.

Or spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with
her.

It's not just difficult.

Sometimes it's downright painful.

She's gone.

And all I have left of her is a few
photos and a lot of really good

Unfortunately, around the holidays, the
memories never make me feel better.

They make me miss her more.

And then I start to miss my dad and my
aunt.

But it all starts with missing my mom.

I don't know if I'll go camping or not.

Maybe I'll stay here this year.

to know that I know what it feels like

to lose a parent.
