So far they've linked thieves to two of them.

They hope that by investigating calls made on the other three SIM cards

they'll find the remaining suspects.'

So they think they've been really clever by using burner phones.

So the fact is they bought all the SIM cards in one transaction.

So that means that it's much easier for us to track who they're calling,

who's been helping them, and then potentially that will lead us back

to the villains themselves.

The 630 burner phone, we have new phone number that it called at

ten-past nine on the day of the heist.

So the suspect is calling for a lift.

Yeah, and I've just searched for that phone number, Open-source,

and it brings it back to Connor Weightman Plumbing & Heating.

So what people don't realise with phone data

is there's two ways to actually trace people.

So there's the SIM card number,

but each handset has an IMEI number that's unique to the handset.

When we've run the checks on the SIM card,

that's come back as unregistered.

However, when we've run the checks on the handset's number,

that handset has previously been registered to Garry Jeffries.

Garry Jeffries was in the news a little while back

for pranking his brother-in-law by blocking his front door

with a giant snowman.

This guy's a professional pranker.
