I'm deep inside a mountain cavern

in a place far, far from the city.

A beautiful name, really. [chuckles]

It's called Lagarto Island.

[Spidey] You mean the Lagarto Island?

The one with a volcano in the middle of it?

Now, now. There's nothing to be alarmed by.

The volcano hasn't erupted in a while.

All I need to do is find the fossil and--

- [rumbling] - Oh, no!

Team Spidey, I think I've made a mistake.

The cavern is collapsing.

- At least it's not erupting. - Not yet.

Mr. Von Carnegie said, "Look for an eagle-shaped rock

"halfway up the volcano." I'll take a closer look.

Huh. Not seeing anything.

That rock looks like an eagle's head.

- [rumbling] - Earthquake!

With the ground shaking like that,

I don't think we have a whole lot of time

- before the volcano erupts. - [Ghost-Spider] We better move fast.

[Spidey] We're coming for you, Mr. Von Carnegie!

[all grunting]

[Spin] That rock really does look like an eagle's head.

[Spidey] And look, a cave entrance,

just like Mr. Von Carnegie said.

- [rumbling] - [Spin winces]

Whoa. We better find him fast.

[Spin] Whoa. Look at all this lava.

[Spidey] Yeah. I think this volcano

is definitely getting ready to erupt.

Mr. Von Carnegie, can you hear us?

Well, he's not in this part of the cave.

There's even more lava in here.

[Spin] It looks like it's shooting up from that hole over there.

Can we swing past it?

What if we used this stalactite

The lava couldn't come out anymore.

[Ghost-Spider] Let's try it.

Okay. That thing's even heavier than I thought.

Too heavy for spiders maybe, but not for a dinosaur.

Oh, that's right. We've got our Dino-Web suits.

[laughs] Dino power all the way.

Go-Ghostosaurus-go!

[grunting]

This is really heavy.

[grunting]

One lava stopper coming right up!

[grunting]

- [Spidey] Yeah! Perfect! - [Spin] Good job, Ghosty.

I don't think it's gonna hold, though. We better hurry.

- [Spin] Mr. Von Carnegie! - [Ghost-Spider] Hello?

- [crashing] - Oh, no! Look out!

A cave-in.

[Ghost-Spider] Mr. Von Carnegie did say the cavern was collapsing.

Well, if he's not on this side,

- he must be on the other side. - We're going to have to

clear out all these boulders to find him.

[grunting]

These boulders are way too big.

I can't pull them out of the way.

Well, you used your dino power on that heavy stalactite.

Maybe I can use mine on these boulders.

[roaring]

The lava is coming in behind us.

Hold on, team. The cave is shaking again.

- [crashing] - [all screaming]

[all grunting]

[Ghost-Spider] Is everyone okay?

- Yeah. - Yep.

[panting] Oh, my. [gasps]

[all] Mr. Von Carnegie!

[laughs] Team Spidey?

[Spidey] I'm so glad we found you.

As I found the dinosaur fossil I was looking for.

explaining all about the dinosaur fossil,

well, little did I know

it would lead us to this predicament.

about this dinosaur fossil from a journal?

The journal of famous explorer Phineas Spinnaker.

Look, he made a drawing of the cave and everything.

Oh, wow. May I see that drawing?

- [Mr. Carnegie] Certainly. - A-ha!

We came in this side of the volcano.

And now we're at the bottom of the volcano.

[Mr. Carnegie] That's right.

Which means the crater is right above us.

[Ghost-Spider] And the crater is open to the outside.

[Spin] So if we break through those rocks, we can get out.

[gasps] Can you do that? Break through all that rock?

[sighs] Sadly, though,

the fossil wasn't so fortunate.

We're not done yet, Mr. Von Carnegie.

[explodes]

- [Spin] Oh, yeah. - [Spidey] All right! We got it!

- [Spin] Just in time. - [Mr. Carnegie] Truly amazing.

I can't believe you saved the fossil.

[Ghost-Spider] After all you went through to find it and dig it out.

[Spin] You didn't think we'd leave it behind, did you?

As you can see, the duck-billed dinosaur fossil

looks right at home here on display.

It sure does, Mr. Von Carnegie.

To think, if you hadn't gone after it,

this fossil would have been lost

in that volcanic eruption.

You were very brave, Mr. Von Carnegie.

I mean, we gotta check them out, right?

The spider's crawling right to it.

Yeah, because spiders can feel movements on their webs.

That's right. Spiders don't have ears,

so they can't hear when something lands on their webs.

But they can feel the movement.

Like all bugs, spiders are really amazing.

[crowd applauding]

Everyone thinks all these itty-bitty bugs

are so amazing.

Just wait until they see what I, Lizard,

can do to these bugs, with science!

[laughs] A little of this chemical,

a bit of that chemical, dash of salt,

My big buggy potion is complete.

Now, who's gonna be my first volunteer?

I have made this boring little cricket

into a fascinating gigantic cricket.

Thanks to my big buggy potion,

I shall now make all of the insects gigantic.

Drat! Team Spidey, you have ruined my fun yet again.

- [beeps] - Spidey, Ghosty.

I've lost Lizard in the sewers.

[Spidey] We're having trouble catching the cricket, too. He hopped out into the city.

[Spin] On my way to help.

- [cricket chirping] - [screaming]

[man] A giant cricket!

[horns honking]

- [Spidey] This is bad. - [Ghost-Spider] Yeah.

How do you get a giant cricket out of traffic anyway?

[kid] Hola, Team Spidey.

[grunting]

I was on my way to the bug fair,

and I sensed there was some trouble.

Oh, there's trouble, all right.

[Spidey] Yeah. Lizard used a potion

- to supersize that cricket. - [chirping]

Ay. He really did, didn't he?

Wait a minute. You can talk to animals.

Can you talk to bugs too?

Sure, I can. I'll use my amulet.

[amulet warbling]

It's just tired and confused.

after Team Spidey ruined my plans once again.

Now what? I can't go back to the bug fair.

Come to think of it,

I can find bugs all over the city.

[laughs] I'll make 'em all gigantic.

We can use apples to get him down.

It's for the giant caterpillar.

Looks like you're going to need a whole bucket of apples.
