The end of the age.

Some men fear it as a time of destruction, while others welcome it as

ushering in of grace.

For ages, they tried to warn us of its coming.

They told us both to beware and to rejoice.

Over time, this revelation has been rejected, diluted, ignored

by all but a few.

And the voices of righteous men have been drowned and silenced beneath a tide

wickedness. Years passed.

War beget war.

Greed beget greed. And men laughed, secure in their

dominion over the earth.

Even as the signs began.

Great floods, fire, famine, pestilence. They laughed.

Lost in their Eucharist.

When the end came, it came as it was prophesied.

Like a thief.

You're the worthless creature they sent to take me down.

Man, what happened to this world?

I remember when outlaws used to be afraid of you feds.

Is there no one worthy?

Unpack the hammer.

If you tell me I should go tonight

Then I'll do my

But as fate has so decided now, I

simply cannot find the way.

Am I doomed to travel endless roads

and spend my days and nights with broken things?

Or is it I?

I still feel that we were meant to be.

Now I stand.

When are you coming home?

I'll miss you too.

Maddie wants to say something to you.

Say hi, Papa.

Hi,

Popkin. I love you.

Hello?

Babe?

You there?

Yep. When are you coming home?

I'll be home tomorrow.

Promise.

Okay, good.

It seems like you've been on the road for weeks this time.

I know, honey.

You've got to keep plugging away from what I put in for that promotion, right?

Yeah.

I know.

It's the only way I'm going to get off the road. Every sale counts.

Yeah, I'm here. I just... I just wish you were home today.

Something feels wrong.

Oh, boy, that's what you said when you were pregnant.

No.

I panicked about it.

I've just... I've been having these really bad dreams lately, and... Same

every night. I get yanked far away from you, and... I know that I'll never see

you again, and... It freaks me out.

I'll be home soon.

Everything's going to be okay.

Look, I know it's not your thing, but... Will you pray with me?

Yeah.

No, babe, it's not my thing.

Yeah.

Oh.

Josh?

Josh, what's going on? Is everything okay?

Just a second.

Josh, what was that?

Baby?

Josh, what's going on? Is everything okay?

Just a second.

Hold on a second, babe.

What are you, crazy?

Man, look what you did to my truck.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you hit me.

What's that?

I didn't hear you too good.

I think he just called me a liar. Say it right to your face.

You gonna let him do you like that?

Okay, look, guys, I don't want any trouble. Why don't we just exchange

information and we can call the police?

You ain't calling nobody.

Flash?

That was unnecessary.

Look, I'm sorry about your truck.

Sorry ain't gonna fix nothing.

How much money you got on you?

How much?

Check this out.

Ultra -high molecular weight polyethylene. That's state -of -the -art

animalistic shield. Level 3A protection.

Best you can get above the standards of most police departments.

Wow.

And if that's not enough protection, look.

Boom.

Pocket for steel metal plates.

It's not to stop a high -caliber sniper round. It's perfect if your hunting

buddy mistakes you for a buck, right?

Did I mention the wholesale discount package?

30 % price reduction on off -season when you buy in bulk. Stop now, stop.

Mister, you're a fine salesman. There's no denying that.

So here's what we're going to do.

I'm going to ask you three questions, and if I like the answers, I'll buy the

vest.

Okay. All right, first question.

Are you a family man?

Um... Sure.

Yeah, I have a family. Now, that ain't what I asked you. Are you a family man?

Sure. Of course I'm a family man. All right, second question.

You believe in God?

Well,

it's been a little bit since I've been at church, but yeah, I believe in God.

All right, final question.

Okay.

Why would you put your trust in to save your family? This vest or God?

Don't answer yet.

I got to go hit the head.

Just think about it here.

Had some jerky.

I made it myself.

Good.

Oh, where did you come from?

You got Grandpa three questions, didn't you?

Practically see the smoke coming out of your ears.

Hmm, funny.

You, uh, couldn't give me a hint, could you?

Sure.

What's in it for me?

What is this, a shakedown?

You betcha.

Hmm.

Okay, Miss Corleone. What would the sheriff say if he knew a minor was

here?

Grandpa and the sheriff are best friends.

You ain't got nothing.

20 bucks for a hint?

And another 20 for your wallet back.

Unbelievable.

Where are your parents?

L .A.

I'm just here for the summer.

I thought I was hanging around with the wrong sort, so... It was either here or

Bible camp.

More or less the same thing.

Yeah, we're such a burden, I know.

Uh -oh, too late.

Give the man back his property, young lady.

Stealing's not right. You know that.

Selling guns is?

See what I put up with?

Adorable.

Hey, you have an answer for me?

Don't move, old man! I'll waste you!

Hands up!

Come on, come on, come on.

You fill this bag up with automatics and cash now. Okay, anything you want,

anything you want. Just don't hurt her. I'm giving you orders, old man. Do it.

Okay, okay.

Come on.

Uh -huh.

Hey, I know you.

There's a pretty one.

We're in, boss.

Three minutes tops.

How many?

There. That's it? Yeah.

Anybody else here? No, go on. Is there anyone else? No, no.

Hey, you got what you wanted.

She's the three of them.

The owner and two others.

No witnesses.

You heard the boss.

Adios, amigo.

You three, you're in.

No.

You're too important.

I'm going to.

Everybody else back to camp.

You, go where I tell you.

You alright, honey?

How did you... Who are you?

Who did this?

We killed our brothers. Was it the old man?

No.

It was the other guy.

We... We didn't pay him no mind.

And I, I tried.

You did good.

But I tried.

You did real good.

I'm gonna send you home.

So let me get this straight.

You took down these three guys, all of them armed, in what was that, less than

20 seconds?

Um, I guess.

I told you. He was like... Lieutenant,

you've got to see this tape. Yeah.

Where'd you train, son?

I've never seen anything like this.

Look, those guys were going to kill us. I had to do something.

I just... I got lucky, really.

Lucky?

You expect any of us to believe that?

However you did it, it's a miracle we're still alive.

Bless you, son.

Bless you.

All right, look.

Let's head on down to the station. We've got a lot of paperwork to fill out.

Can I come, too?

No, young lady. You need to rest.

I'm taking you home. Come on. And Josh...

I expect to see you at noon for lunch at my place, so I can thank you properly.

What is going on?

The whole world's falling apart.

Yeah.

I don't know.

Thanks, Frank. I appreciate that, but I gotta get home to my family.

That's not gonna happen.

Look, you need to stay around town for a couple days until we straighten this

mess out.

Then it's settled.

Noon, we eat and give thanks.

Was it worth it?

Take him up back.

Burn him.

Make sure you do it right.

Get to the truck.

Boss.

What are we going to do now?

We're going to find him.

Other guy.

And the owner.

And his family, too.

Let me go.

Why? So you can fix your mistake?

I can do this.

Go with her. You got it, Bo.

I don't need him.

Get the information and get home. I'm on it.

I said I don't need him.

Did I stutter?

I want this done right.

No more mistakes.

Let me go then.

Everybody get away from me!

Are you worthy?

Sorry about all this, but I'm going to need to keep you in town the next four

five days, give or take.

Just procedure.

Ah, my wife's not going to like that.

Not at all.

Well, consider it a vacation.

I'm going to look around you.

You couldn't wish for a final destination. You can visit our strip

yard.

Well, Geddy Bunce has got a new cow.

There you go.

The Independent Zoo.

I'll just go to the nearest motel.

That'd be the Pear Blossom Motel. Straight shot about ten miles south.

Thanks.

Are you sure you're okay?

I'm fine. Why?

Yeah, one of our deputies had to kill a man a while back.

He ain't been riding ahead since.

Messed him up pretty bad.

It's quite a thing to take a life.

You know, I still get the jitters about a man I pulled a gun on, and that was

some 20 years ago.

Well, I've had experience.

Is that a fact?

You've been in combat.

Can't really talk about it. Yeah, I bet.

I've seen your records.

They're completely blank before five years ago.

You didn't even exist.

Is that right?

Some kind of CIA G -man?

Yeah, yeah, you can't talk about it.

Well, I'm just glad you're on our side.

Say what?

You need a darn good thing a day, McManus.

Say some good people.

Thank you.

So, uh, you gonna catch these guys?

Well, those barbarians are a rough crew from up north.

We got the call out. Don't you worry, we'll catch them. You heard them bad

today. Bet they're running home with their tails between their legs.

Bet on it.

How much money you got? Do I have her?

Adios, amigo. No witnesses.

Hey, honey.

I'm sorry I didn't call you back. I got mixed up in this mess and I gotta stick

around for a few days.

I'm sorry I haven't been there for you lately, honey.

I just... I've been going through a rough time lately.

There's some things about me that I... haven't told you. Things that I...

Thought I could contain.

Josh?

Mr. Ellis.

I'm sorry. I thought that you were... It's been a rough day.

Week. Month.

It's been a rough couple of years.

I don't think now is such a good time.

John, I know what you're going through.

I do. I've been there.

The last thing you want to be right now is alone.

Thank you, Sheriff.

You're too good to us.

God bless.

Well, you're going to have deputies watch the store in case they come back.

Oh, wonderful.

Josh, is there anything else I can get for you?

No, I'm fine, thank you.

That is a first. You make quite an impression on her. She's got herself a

hero, and she's not the only one. No, I'm no hero.

Believe me. We don't tolerate that foolishness in this house.

Now shut your mouth and take your praise.

Yes, ma 'am.

Josh, you are our hero.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for my husband and for my

granddaughter.

I'm more protected.

That better not be my good horse one.

Brother, you are cold -blooded.

You killed those three boys today, and your hands aren't even shaking.

You're standing here in my lawn, easy as you please, drinking my wife's

raspberry lemonade.

What service were you in, son?

What did they do to you?

I don't know what you're talking about.

I know sometimes there are things a man just doesn't want to talk about.

I know.

I know where you're coming from. I've been there.

Yeah, I've been there.

The blood, the bullets, the bodies, lying face down in the mud.

Praying that you'll live the next three seconds.

Then you come home.

Back here, and everybody's acting like it never happened.

People pass you by, living their lives, complaining about their mortgages and

leaky septic tanks and talking about when dinner's going to be, and

you just can't plug in any of that.

After what you've seen, none of it seems real.

Now, coming home is the one thing they never train you for.

You need help.

You need a bridge.

A bridge. You mean God?

I'm talking about putting your faith and trust in God's only son, Jesus Christ.

He said, come unto me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

And that's the truth, Josh.

Jesus is a bridge.

A bridge that can take you home.

Frank, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I choose the best.

What's that?

Your three questions.

What would I put my faith in to save my family?

My wife and my daughter give me strength.

They're the ones that saved me, not God.

Not God. All right. Well, maybe.

But I still think you're running, trying to escape from the things you've done.

I bet you keep your family at a distance, too, right?

You do.

I know.

But you don't have to, you know.

It doesn't matter what you've done in the past. You can wipe it all away and

start a whole new life.

Frank, I respect you.

And I appreciate what you're trying to do for me.

And I'm glad this whole God thing worked out for you.

But I don't think it's going to work for me.

All right, baby.

Think about it, though, all right?

Because it's all out there for you.

The freedom, the peace, your family.

It's all over there on the other side. You're trying to reach it.

Jesus is the bridge.

Jesus can help bring you home.

Washington against striking Iran.

Russia's chief of staff revealed on Wednesday.

Russia is not afraid of a possible U .S. attack on Iran.

We're just trying to predict the consequences of such a move.

This is an important issue for us.

Can you put it on my room? I'll be here for a few days.

Yeah, yeah.

Can you believe that?

They're insane.

They don't even know what they're fighting about anymore.

Is that normal?

Nothing about this day is normal.

I'll be glad when it's over Have a good night Ciao

I'm never gonna let her go

That's enough!

You're already enough of an embarrassment.

Don't push me.

I'm your flesh and blood.

What do I have to do to make you feel anything?

I keep you here because of her.

Be content for what you have.

What you are.

And what am I?

My champion.

Listen.

Listen, my brothers.

Three of our own died today.

Those who did it are still out there.

But I now know who they are.

I know where they are.

Tonight, we exact our vengeance.

Blood for blood!

You go ahead.

I want you to lead him.

We do the old man and his family first.

Don't kill him until I get there.

Where are you going?

Just wait for my call.

Arbarians, mount up!

Iran is striking America all conventional and unconventional

How stupid are you?

not my business.

It's not my business.

Hey, uh... Miss, I'm... I'm Josh.

I'm staying next door.

Are you okay?

Do you need help?

Why do you mind your own business?

I, um... I... Maybe it's not a good thing if you're here when he gets back.

You want me to call the sheriff?

Just go away.

All right, I just... I just don't. Whoa.

You're gonna be my Prince Charming. You're gonna save me.

But my boyfriend's coming back any minute, and he's a pro fighter, so if I

you, I wouldn't be staying here with you. Look, I'm just... Maybe you

be here when he gets back.

I don't know. You got this whole thing really figured out, don't you?

Look, I'm just...

You don't understand anything.

So do yourself a favor and take your charity somewhere else.

I'll be next door if you need any help.

Thank you, Lord, for your mercies.

You saved me again today.

You've saved my life so many times.

Thank you for Beth and Josh.

And I pray you open their hearts. Grandpa, Grandma said you're letting the

in.

I pray

that they know your love.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Mr.

Sorry about before.

If you can help me out.

Do you want me to call the sheriff?

No.

I could really use money.

You think you can help me?

It's not that kind of help you need.

Wait.

Wait.

Look, I can't just hand you the money.

Oh, I get it.

I'm scum of the earth.

Real leeching junkie to you.

I didn't say that. Of course you didn't say that.

You're so righteous.

Let me tell you something. You're fake.

And just like me, everybody cheats.

Everybody steals everybody's lives.

You're no different.

Look, I'm not saying that I'm better than anyone.

I was a different person once.

I did a lot of terrible things.

But I changed.

Changed everything.

It is possible.

Let me guess.

You found Jesus.

I found Rachel, my wife.

You really are fooling yourself.

People don't change.

People, they pretend to change, and then they act like hypocrites.

I'm telling you, there's no force on Earth that's gonna change who you are on

the inside.

Are you still here?

If you don't got any money, get out.

Yo, what's up?

What are you doing in my room?

We were just talking. Yeah?

What are you talking about?

I was just trying to help.

Help? Who are you helping?

Trying to help yourself to my girl?

Richie, don't.

Don't do this.

Don't do what?

Tough guy.

Richie, you're on parole.

Shut up!

You want to get out of here without your arms broken?

Seize some cash.

I'm not going to give you any money.

Ricky, don't!

Richie, don't!

Richie, no!

Richie?

I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Well, now you do.

The baby hasn't eaten in two days.

You beat up her daddy. We don't need your kind of help.

Come here.

Mommy, why were you fighting?

We don't need your charity.

It's not charity, okay?

It's payment.

You're teaching me something.

I thought I'd change, but I haven't changed.

You said no force on earth can change a person.

I'm beginning to think that's true.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

Mommy, I'm hungry.

We're leaving, baby.

I wanna go home.

Oh,

come

on.

Seems like we're always searching for more.

Go ahead.

You sure?

That's what good neighbors do, right? They take care of each other.

Thanks.

You look like you're having one of those days.

You have no idea.

the tough all over.

Feels like the whole world's falling apart if you ask me.

Where'd all the heroes go?

What happened to the Titans?

They may not have the power to change the world.

When I look around now, all I see are children crying for their mamas.

No, they're still out there.

On the front lines.

I've known some good men alongside of them.

So you're a warrior?

You don't look like much.

Makes me sick when I see warriors taking orders from little men with little

ties.

You know, someday soon there'll be a reckoning.

It's when the Titans will stand up, they'll take back this world from the

lawyers and the politicians.

What do you think about that?

I think what you call Titan.

I call it tyrant.

Men without compassion.

Men who murder.

Deal.

Call it their right.

God willing, there will always be men like me to put the tyrants in their

Thanks for the change.

I could take care of you.

Finally.

Somebody worth fighting.

Do I need to leave the room?

Frank, what is it? Shh, quiet.

You don't have to go like that.

Nothing.

Some day soon there'll be a reckoning.

What did they do to you?

People don't change.

Some kind of CIA genius?

It didn't even exist.

There's no force on Earth that's going to change who you are on the other side.

He said, come unto me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Jesus is a bridge.

Freedom, peace, your family. You're trying to reach it.

Jesus is the bridge. Jesus can help bring you home.

Will you pray with me?

Hi.

I'm Rachel.

Yes. Yes, I will.

I do.

Josh, come here. The baby's singing.

Josh.

Meet your baby, Natalie.

Hello? Josh?

Thank goodness.

I've been worried sick. Something's happening.

Strange lights and earthquakes. The power's going on and off.

Yeah, same thing's happening here.

Look, I, um... I need to talk to you about something.

Something happened today.

On my world, all.

Turned upside down Josh. What is it? What happened?

There was this robbery

Drop the gun.

Do it!

You. Get out of here!

Do as she says, girl.

Run!

Run!

Go! Now!

Grandma, I can't. Go.

I shot him I killed them all

And you know what?

It was easy

The only thing I've ever really been good at.

I don't know what to say.

I know it's worth.

I don't feel bad about it.

I don't regret it.

I don't feel.

Where's Beth?

Beth is fine. She got away.

You did that for us?

Thank you.

Thank you.

God bless you.

Just go.

Both of you.

Go. Before they get you.

This way.

They were going to kill you, okay?

You did the right thing.

You're not a bad person.

You don't know me, Rach.

You don't know me.

Never told anybody about this before.

I thought you said there were three.

Cat found these, too.

We haven't seen the other one.

Josh, I don't care about the man that you are. I love the man that you are.

God loves you, too.

God can't help me, Rach.

Josh, listen to me.

I know you don't believe.

But Jesus does love you.

And he can forgive you if you want to.

God can't help me, Rach.

You see this?

I made this to vanquish my enemies.

I call it vengeance.

I pray, Lord, forgive them.

Forgive them.

really believe your God can hear your prayers, old man?

Look, I wanted to tell you, I wanted to talk to you for so long, but it never

seemed like the right time.

It's like I got this weight inside me pulling me

down for all the things that I've done.

then you came into my life.

You lifted me up.

Daddy came.

Gave me a whole new purpose.

By the way, he keeps coming back.

I can't run from it.

Sometimes it's so bad I can barely stand.

I love you both so much.

I'm done running on it.

I just... I just want to come home.

this time.

I don't know how.

Great.

Great, you there?

are they?

The Northern Lights?

I don't think so.

It's him.

It has to be.

Who?

Jesus.

Didn't you just see what happened?

I said find them.

All of them!

Now!

Mine's dead.

Where's Nero's phone?

Pull it in town?

But...

Wait. Wait.

Wait.

Nobody leave without paying their bill.

If you got cash, you can pay me now and go.

No cash?

Get back to your rooms.

We'll wait for the power to come back on.

Do not test me.

There's no need for that. These people are scared. That goes for you, too.

You got cash?

Then get back to your room.

Everybody, get back to your room!

Nobody leave!

Do not test me!

Nobody leave!

Please, please, please, you have to help me.

What's the matter?

These bikers are crazy. They tried to kill me and my grandparents. Look, I

have time to explain. We have to get out of here.

You'll be safe here.

What? Are you crazy?

Just forget it.

Elizabeth.

Come.

Stand behind me.

I'll protect you.

We've got to run.

Have faith Elizabeth.

Sometimes it's very hard for ones who are lost to see the light.

Boss, why are you stopping here?

We're not going to find anything out here.

I think you're making a mistake.

Listen.

You want to quit?

I'm not gonna let our brothers die for nothing but the lights in the sky.

They're vanishing.

People don't vanish.

They're here.

I can feel them.

I will find you.

And don't ever question me again.

That's impossible.

Tell me, do you know your way back to town?

Um, yeah, sure.

Good. Go there.

Stay off the road.

And I promise you, you meet no misfortune.

Are you... I mean, are you him?

As you walk, Elizabeth, think on what you've seen today.

I don't know what I saw.

Grandma and Grandpa, what happened to them?

What do you think happened?

The light came down.

It took them.

And what is the light?

I don't know, God.

Why didn't he take me too?

Did you ever ask him to?

Why are you telling me all this?

Why are you trying to help me? I have nothing special.

That's where you're wrong, Elizabeth.

Each person has their part in God's plan.

A billion drops of water streaming down the river of time.

But there are some people whom God chooses to shift the current

in a new direction.

You, Elizabeth, you have a very important part in God's plan.

Never actually asked.

In a dream, you lose yourself.

Bite in your lip as you call for help.

Chasing the darkness upon your cheek. And then you feel it waves just beyond

your belief.

Fall to the non, there's no such love. She gets you bad.

Mary.

I wish that the night would swallow this day and

the clouds wouldn't steal the moon from me

but the rain

Where is the moon hanging low?

Is that wonderful orange glow

smiling at me straight?
