BAT, V/O: In 1899, William "Bronco Bill" Walters
was sentenced to life in the New Mexico Penitentiary.
He was paroled in 1917.
Evidence of buried loot was never found.
Red Pipkin was captured two years after Bronco Bill.
He served seven years in Yuma Territorial Prison.
In 1924, at the age of sixty-two,
Jeff Milton was appointed America's first Border Patrol officer.
- They called old Red a coward.
Well, here I am.
