Seriously?

- Don't... - Am I so scary?

Su Fei.

Cheng Zihao, are your paintings so worthless?

You don't even lock the door?

Haven't seen you for years, you are such a heavy drinker!

How did you find me?

What's up?

So I'm not welcome here?

I really need to talk with you.

Du Haoyang is back.

Who?

Du-Hao-Yang.

What's wrong with you?

Why would I make a joke out of things like this?

Our company is planning a Halloween Carnival

with the drama club of the school, named "Singing at Midnight".

I'm the liaison.

But...

Weird things happens in the theater all the time,

which makes everyone in the drama club jittery.

You think he is the one behind the scenes?

You'll figure it out when you come back to the school with me.

You mean... to see ghosts?

Cheng Zihao.

Are you going to escape forever?

Me? Why would I escape?

It's been years.

Four years, three months and nine days.

I've been busy these days.

I'm afraid I haven't got any spare time.

Fine.

If you don't want to go, you don't need to.

Wait...

Our company gave us whatever we need for the Carnival.

We can't mess it up.

Can't you perform another play?

"Hamlet", "King Lear".

There are ghosts everywhere in Shakespeare's plays.

- Lili. - Sister Fei.

Why do you leave so many lights here?

Never mind, the door is guarded.

We'll switch the lights off once the leaders are here.

We won't get you in trouble, you have my word.

What are you doing here?

Sprinkling salt, to avoid evil spirits.

- Does it work? - Just have a try,

it doesn't cost much.

Then why didn't you buy some garlic?

I forgot!

I'll buy it soon.

Ok, I'll go sprinkle salt without borthering you.

Cheng Zihao.

He Lili,

are in charge of all the chores in the club.

She's more than capable.

Let's go.

This is when I first met you,

but you thought I was someone else.

- That's how it feels. - Ok.

Good.

You should follow his rhythm.

Danping,

You're out of reach,

you're so unique,

I always worry if...

something bad happens to you...

Who was that?

Just a shadow.

It happens over and over again during daytime.

Stop that!

Sister Fei, what's it?

Ok, it's not a big deal.

Let's go back to the office first.

Let's go.

Oh, I nearly forgot to introduce...

This is Cheng Zihao,

the former chairman of the drama club,

as well as our current consultant for this play.

Nice to meet you.

- Please take a seat. - Thanks.

So what happened just now?

Sister Su Fei.

It happens too frequently.

For the sake of safety,

shall we stop rehearsal temporarily?

The handprint has been there for ages.

Everyone, clear your mind.

Just go back home.

But...

I've heard that...

weird things happened here before.

- What weird things? - Now we...

What weird things?

Just go back home!

What weird things, director?

Just go.

Please... what weird things?

I need details.

Hello.

Cheng Zihao, he is here again.

Can you drop in now?

Su Fei.

It would be better if I stood back.

I haven't done my job properly four years ago.

How could I help you now?

I know... about HaoYang... it's been troubling us.

Nobody wants to mention that.

But what's the point of escape?

Are you going to stick to your decadent lifestyle forever?

Sorry...

Su Fei.

I heard his voice again.

Are you sure?

The voice is so familiar.

Where were you?

Who else heard the voice?

I was standing here, watching their rehearsal.

Nobody else heard that.

Why didn't anyone else hear that?

You don't believe me.

Have you thought about this...

Why didn't anyone else hear that?

You mean...

He is coming for me.

I don't know for sure.

This is Gao Hui who acts the part of Song Danping.

This is who I mentioned before,

Cheng Zihao, the former chairman of the drama club.

Hi, I'm Gao Hui.

Sorry.

We were in a hurry.

Never mind.

I need to go, you can have a talk.

They don't know anything about this, right?

No, they don't.

Du Haoyang, what's in your mind?

Hi, it's me.

What's the matter?

Du Haoyang?

Where did you get the mask?

I got it from the club's office.

I thought it's nice, so I took it out.

I think it's better than what we've got.

- Right? Here you are. - Are you ok?

Yep.

Let's me check.

Oh, that's good.

Use this later.

What's up?

(Drama club's office)

I really thought it was him just now.

Qian Jing is taller than him.

I thought that mask was gone for long time.

Are you still in touch with Shen Xue?

You help me just for her?

Here we go.

Get away.

Stay back, stay back, don't follow me!

Don't follow me. Don't!

It's not me.

What's the matter with you?

Stop...

Come here, everybody come here.

- Are you ok? - Yep.

I know what's on your mind.

I heard about that curse, too.

Whatever it's true or not,

I hope you can rehearse well.

After all, we paid so much.

Don't give up for a few rumors.

Right?

But what's happened recently is so evil.

Who has the mind to rehearse?

We can solve them.

Will we really go there?

I hear that's where they used to rehearse.

The place has been deserted since the accident.

There are guards during the day.

Then go in the evening.

In the evening?

It's haunted there.

You're going to go by yourselves. Let me first say I won't go.

Hey, I will protect you.

Well.

As of tomorrow,

Let's not have any more burdens in our hearts.

Look!

Emergency news.

Hu, a prisoner, escaped from the third prison in our city.

Citizens cautiously.

At the same time, the general public are welcome

to provide clues enthusiastically.

That, look that.

Is he here?

He can't run fast.

Here we go.

Go.

Well.

Slow down, Lili.

Well, come in.

Where should we go?

Let's do it separately.

No...

It's too dark here.

There are so many exports here.

If we don't search separately,

we won't go back till dawn.

You two take different ways with your partner, please.

Ok.

Let's keep in touch.

It's good?

- What's that? - What it is?

- Go. - Safety first.

Well, let's go.

- It's ok? Lili. - Turn off.

Give me...

- Like a miner. - Just go.

Yutong, it's me.

Gao Hui, I'm Gao Hui.

Look.

Go.

How there's a computer desk here?

How can I know?

- Lili... - What's wrong?

This is a...

It's a mop.

- We were scared to death by you. - You scared us.

I thought it was hair.

You go ahead.

Lili.

Lili, hurry up.

It's their car.

Go.

It's all grown-ups. Nothing's going to happen.

If happen, it's too late.

Gao Hui.

He Lili.

Qian Jing.

Lin Qi.

Lin Qi.

Mengxi.

Yutong.

This way.

Watch out.

Why they came here?

- Sister Fei. - Why you are in here alone?

I don't know how I got separated from them.

Why you are here?

He Lili told me.

You guys always give me trouble.

What's up?

Take a look.

- What's wrong? - There's someone upstairs.

Who were there?

What's up?

It's ok?

Yep, that's no matter.

Take care of them.

Be careful.

- Don't go. - Caution!

It's all right. You go down first.

It's us.

- What's up? - Gao Hui had an accident.

They're downstairs, hurry up.

Don't run around.

Go.

Everybody out?

Qian Jing and Lili are not here.

Did something happen?

Would they go back first?

That's impossible.

If they want to go back, they will call first.

Lin Qi, Su Fei,

let's go up and find them.

Others stand here and don't move.

Well.

- He Lili. - Qian Jing.

- He Lili. - Qian Jing.

Qian Jing.

Lili.

Qian Jing.

Lili.

Qian Jing.

Lili.

- Call them. - Well.

Qian Jing.

Qian Jing.

Lili.

He Lili.

Here, hurry up.

Lili.

- Qian Jing. - Lili.

- Qian Jing. - Lili.

- Qian Jing. - Lili.

What's going on?

Why are you lying here?

I don't know.

- Lili. - Lili, what's up?

Lili.

- Hurry up. Get out here. - Well.

Lili.

They came out.

Watch out.

- Watch out. - Feel good?

Lili, Lili...

Watch out, what's up?

- What happened? - Slow down.

Slow down.

Slow down.

Lili.

- What happened? - He Lili.

- Is she alright? - He Lili , Lili.

Lili...

Lili...

What's up?

Do you remember what happened just now?

It must be the escaped prisoner.

Anyway.

Let's get out of here first.

Let's go now.

Go.

Slow down.

Watch your feet.

- Watch out, take care. - Slow down.

Watch out.

Let's dress the wound.

Don't worry.

What if the wound is inflamed?

- Come on. - It's ok.

You needn't go to hospital?

Just a minor injury. That's no matter.

Then go back and have a rest.

Well.

You too.

What happened to you?

Nothing.

How Gao Hui is going on?

He is ok.

I called the police the next day.

The police said the information of the escaped prisoner was false.

They are looking for information sources.

It must be him.

Our drama club resume rehearsing today.

Come with me to take a look.

You're not in the mood to draw.

Go with me.

Go.

Yunyan.

Danping, you make me nervous.

Yunyan, you're like the moon in the sky.

It's Yutong.

What's up?

- Yutong, alright? - What's up? What happened?

Look.

This one...

- What happened? - I don't know.

Don't worry.

Nothig. It's just a prank.

- Who did this? - It's ok.

Who would have done such a silly prank?

It shouldn't be true.

Look, Sister Fei.

Four years ago,

when a college drama club performs "Singing at Midnight",

mysterious curse fulfilled.

Du Haoyang, the hero,

committed suicide in public on stage.

It is known that the incident has a significant connection

with the director of the play, Cheng Zihao.

Sister Fei, is that all true?

Of course not.

Bullshit!

Does Du Haoyang really die?

It's true.

Suicide on stage?

Did you like the heroine at that time?

Did you ask her boyfriend

to play a cursed role?

I don't know the curse.

Was everything before true?

These rumors are true.

All are true.

Enough.

What you want?

Four years ago, the police had decided.

When you receive an anonymous letter,

you think yourself as Conan.

But Sister Fei, look at the anonymous letter...

Don't say anymore.

This man is sincere. Why is he anonymous?

Seniors, I believe you.

Well.

How do you explain that so many things have happened recently?

We quit.

Mengxi, we quit.

- What's the hell? - What's wrong?

We paid so much.

We can't scrap it because of you.

Can we finish the play at least ?

Then tell me what it is.

I don't want to rehearse.

- I didn't want to rehearse too. - What happened four years ago

- has already been decided. - Clam down.

Cheng Zihao.

Why don't you go to persuade them?

I have already done it.

I can't work as consultant any more.

We can't let an anonymous letter bind us.

Cheng Zihao.

Let me take you to meet a person.

Who?

Open the door.

I promise I won't let you down.

Give you.

Thank you.

How did you come?

I bring you a person.

Come here.

Well.

Otherwise you two will have a chat.

Well.

- Bye. - Bye.

See you later.

You didn't expect that, did you?

I didn't expect you were here.

You looked for me?

Why Su Fei has your necklace?

That's our love token.

Actually, I was in a very bad state during that time.

So I didn't keep contact with anyone

except Su Fei.

You've been here for years?

I've been away for several times.

But after a few days, I came back.

I'm fragile now.

How do you do?

Why are you with Su Fei?

Oh no.

Their company cooperate with the drama club.

Invite me to be a consultant.

"Singing at midnight"?

You know that?

Yep.

What's wrong with your coming this time?

Nothing.

We just came to see you.

Nothing?

Nothing really.

You are the same as before.

If you look elsewhere when you talk,

it must be lie.

Do I have this habit?

Tell me. What happened?

Nothing really.

You can go now.

Don't ever come here again.

I'm so angry. You still keep silent.

Cheng Zihao.

Tell me.

They met some strange things in rehearsal.

They thought it might be Du Haoyang.

I still don't think I should tell you that.

Do you think it's him?

I have no idea.

I want to go back to school.

I have to face it myself.

I can't stay here all my life.

Think twice.

Don't worry.

If I can't do that, I will come back.

At two o'clock tomorrow afternoon,

we will meet at the entrance of the theatre.

It's deal.

See you tomorrow.

How are you? Do you feel good?

I said I would not let you down.

How many couples are there in our drama club now?

Li Mengxi and Han Yajie are a couple.

Gao Hui and Zhao Yutong are temporarily a couple.

That's it.

Temporarily a couple?

Gao Hui changed his girlfriend as quickly as he changed clothes.

All his girlfriends are temporary.

Has Gao Hui ever been with Li Mengxi?

I don't think so.

But I'm not sure.

I think Gao Hui is quite interesting.

If I had met him four years ago,

may fall in love with him, too.

Hello.

Hello.

I'd like to ask

if the deleted data in the hard disk can be recovered.

Yes, sir.

But there is no guarantee that it will be fully restored.

How long will it take?

I'm not sure. Maybe two or three days.

I see. I'm going to see you this afternoon.

I'm coming.

My lover.

Death sucked up your sweet breath,

but he didn't destroy your beauty.

Is that thin and hateful devil

also sentimental?

Hide you in this...

Sister Fei.

Seniors.

Seniors, you are here.

This is Du Yunyan, who sang in "Singing at Midnight".

Hello, everyone. My name is Shen Xue.

Hello.

Something has happened recently.

So I failed to give you a reasonable explanation yesterday.

Sorry.

But I will give you a satisfactory answer.

Stop fantasizing.

If anything goes wrong, I'll handle it.

But...

Well.

I think the rehearsals are almost ready these days.

So I want to have a full dress rehearsal

after three days.

Do you have any comments?

- Ok. - Well.

Gao Hui, we are looking forward to your performance.

Come on.

- Let me show you to the backstage. - Come on, everybody.

Let me show you some things you need to prepare.

These are costumes.

This is music.

This way.

Go.

Slow down.

I need to go out. I will come back in the evening.

Have a late snack?

Ok. Let's get hammered.

Let's go.

I didn't come back for four years. It seems that nothing had changed.

Yep.

I also haven't been back for four years.

And I don't know many places.

If I come out from the sanatorium and go back to school,

would it be possible not to go back again?

Aren't you afraid to think about those unpleasant things?

Wouldn't you remember it if you didn't come back?

Yep.

I've had nightmares for four years.

I didn't want to come back when Su Fei first found me.

I scared.

I haven't contacted anyone in these four years.

I want to isolate it completely from my life.

But I'm afraid it's of no use.

What's the usage?

I know.

Something once happens,

it will follow you forever.

Well, they're about to start rehearsing.

Let's go.

Go.

Come on.

Go.

Yunyan.

Song Danping.

Why are you so late?

- Yunyan... - Yunyan.

You can go.

Let me be with her forever.

Well, go on.

Yunyan.

Yunyan.

What's that noise?

Gao Hui, Mengxi, Come on down.

- Hurry up. - Hurry up.

Watch out.

Why are you standing there, Lili?

Come on down.

Hurry up. Come on down.

Are you ok?

Su Fei, look for someone to repair it as soon as possible.

Alright.

It's ok?

Director, I want to take a break today.

Ok. Take a break.

Then I go with her.

Well.

Safety first. We should cancel the rehersal today.

Yep, safety first.

Well. Let's go back first.

- Let's go. - I couldn't get through.

I'm going to have it repaired first.

- You're waiting for me here. - Ok.

Go.

It has been four years.

I didn't expect that we would return to this stage.

Yunyan.

My lover.

My darling.

My only concern in the world.

Go away.

You can go.

Go away.

I will stay with her forever.

Get out.

Shen Xue.

Shen Xue.

Shen Xue...

Shen Xue.

It's fine.

Shen Xue...

Shen Xue.

Shen Xue.

Doctor.

Hurry up!

How's going on?

Is Shen Xue's family there?

We are her friends.

Now the patient was overfrightened.

It causes schizophrenia.

It also triggers indirect shock symptoms.

She's in serious condition.

How did she get scared like this?

Doctor.

Shen Xue has been through serious trauma before.

Is it related to this?

Will she have any sequelae in the future?

Sorry.

It's all my fault.

I shouldn't have let her back.

If she don't come back...

Do you know why

Du Haoyang committed suicide?

The day before the performance,

he had a quarrel with Shen Xue.

Tell me who he is?

Haoyang.

Don't do that. You scared me.

Tell me who he is?

It's between us.

Tell me who he is?

I told you we are done.

What do you like about him?

What does it matter to you?

This has something to do with me.

You are my girlfriend.

Not anymore.

You really want to do that?

Think well?

Yep.

Haoyang, I hope we can part as friends.

Shen Xue.

What have I done wrong? Can't I correct it?

You didn't do anything wrong.

It's my fault.

I'm sorry.

How far has your relationship progressed?

He don't know my feeling.

Do you think I'm a three-year-old?

I haven't deceived you. I haven't told him yet.

If he doesn't like you, how do you do?

Let's forget it.

You are a nice guy. ou will be happy.

If I'm nice, why you wanna break up with me?

Well.

You want to break up?

Tell me who is he?

Then I'll break up with you.

Are you serious?

Shen Xue.

As long as you don't break up with me,

I can do anything you want.

Go to hell.

You'll know all about it later.

You mean,

Du Haoyang did these for...

You...

Do you know why

Shen Xue and Du Haoyang broke up?

She didn't tell me.

I guess...

It's because of you.

Director Cheng.

Just right.

Look how it looks.

Director Cheng, it's impressive.

Amazing.

Talent is talent.

What props are we short of?

Nothing.

Nothing?

Well, I'll refinish it up.

Shen Xue.

I'm hungry. Let's go to take dinner.

I'm hungry too. Here we go.

Director Cheng, we together?

I don't wanna take, you go.

- Well - Here we go.

Bye!

Don't forget memorize lines.

I want him to disappear every day.

But after his disappear,

it turned out that I can't stand it.

I think...

I think I'm a devil.

Don't let your mind wander any more.

Right?

I wish I could have stopped him.

An actor like me who is down and out.

Here is the best stage I can get on.

Haoyang, it's your turn to play.

Stay back, just stay back.

Yunyan...

- Yunyan. - Stay back.

Yunyan...

Haoyang, be careful.

Stay back.

Stay back.

You...

- You hypocrite. - Stay back.

I want you to go to hell.

Don't kill me.

Stay back.

Yunyan.

My lover.

My darling.

My only concern in the world.

You can go.

I will stay with her forever.

Haoyang.

Cheng Zihao, you package.

Put it at the door.

(Gao Hui)

Hello.

Why don't you come to see us for rehearsal these two days?

I'm not going.

There is a thing I need to tell you.

When we went to the old building last time,

the man who hit me looked familiar.

Why didn't you say earlier?

I don't know how to say.

And that mask is missing today.

Got it.

(Su Fei)

Su Fei, where are you?

What's up?

I'm on my way to school now.

To watch their dress rehearsal.

Well, you wait for me at the entrance of the theatre.

Let's go together later.

You come also?

Waiting me.

Director.

I can't find the mask Gao Hui used before.

Shall we use the previous one?

Ok.

Well.

Lili, do you need to rest for a few more days?

I needn't.

Well.

Director, I was busy.

Ok.

Do they begin?

That should be about time.

Well. Let's sneak in through the side door.

Side door?

Don't ask. Just go.

Quiet.

What do you want to do?

Don't talk. Don't let them hear us.

Ok. Let's start.

My lover.

Death sucked up your sweet breath.

But he didn't destroy your beauty.

Is that thin and hateful devil

also sentimental?

He will bury you in this dark cave

to be his mistress.

What's the noise?

What's up?

My lover.

What voice is this?

My darling.

What's up?

My only concern in the world.

You can go.

I will stay with her forever.

Mengxi.

Who?

Is Du Haoyang coming?

Don't talk nonsense.

Where did the sound come from?

What's that?

Who are you?

Who are you?

Go away.

- Stay back. - Yutong, it's me.

Yutong, it's me.

He's looking for you. Stay back.

Stay back...

Qian Jing.

Qian Jing, it's me.

I am not Song Danping. He is Song Danping.

He is Song Danping.

Qian Jing.

I quit.

Gao Hui.

Clam down.

- Du Haoyang... - Gao Hui.

It's me.

I'm Cheng Zihao.

- Seniors. - Clam down. It's ok.

- Seniors. - It's ok.

Clam down.

- Seniors. - It's ok.

Who can help me turn on the light?

I will.

Alright.

You are all college students.

How can you be scared by something like this?

What's going on?

Let me show you who's behind the scenes.

Everything is done by Lili and Sister Fei.

He Lili.

Do you have anything to explain?

What should I explain?

I play a recording now.

My only concern in the world.

You can go.

I will stay with her forever.

Familiar?

You went to delete the file just now, right?

Didn't you notice someone used the computer?

What are you talking about?

What you heared is the file you deleted.

I restored it.

Do you remember that bloody handprint?

When I passed by you,

I smell the paint.

I don't know what you said?

Alright.

Then...

Please give me your remote control.

Remote control?

Hey, what are you doing?

Everyone gets the idea now.

He Lili.

If I'm not mistaken,

it's you who hurt Gao Hui

in the old building that day.

What do you want?

What do I want?

I want to destory you.

I want you have no friends,

no dignity, no confidence.

(Warmly welcome freshman)

Let me help you.

I wish you a happy university life.

Nice shot.

- Amazing. - Try again.

One more.

Come on.

Take the rebound.

Nice shot.

Take a break.

Drink some water.

I'll go over there.

You like playing basketball?

Yep.

Can you play?

No.

Can you teach me?

Of course.

I'm He Lili.

Gao Hui.

But you were good when we broke up.

That doesn't mean I don't hate you.

I swear.

I must destroy you!

So I joined the Drama Club.

What happened in the old building?

- Lin Qi. - Lin Qi.

Lin Qi.

Lili, will something happen to Lin Qi?

- Don't scare me. - Come on.

Lin Qi.

Hey! Lili, look!

Qian Jing, Lili.

- Here! - Hurry up!

What did Shen Xue do wrong?

You weren't in my plans.

But you're here.

I could just make use of that.

So you wrote the anonymous mail.

But why you make so many people get involved?

I don't care. I just want to destroy him.

I never want to see you again.

Gao Hui.

- Here we go. - Ok.

Everything is clear now.

What are you thinking?

He Lili is just a young lady.

How can she do all of these.

It's horrible.

Sometime,

The power of hatred is stronger than loving.

Su Fei.

Cheng Zihao.

- Save me! - What's wrong?

- I'm in... - Su Fei, where are you?

I'm in... The old building we went last time.

What's up? Su Fei.

Su Fei...

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Su Fei.

Who are you?

Say something.

Su Fei.

Cheng Zihao, you come out!

Why did you do that?

You know that.

What?

Four years ago.

When Haoyang committed suicide,

you could have saved him.

But you didnt.

You did all these for Du Haoyang?

Of course.

Did you think

I would like to perform dramas?

So He Lili is abetted by you?

Right.

I was there when she broke up with Gao Hui.

Hatred in her mind is stronger than I had imagined.

Unexpectedly,

I must do it by myself.

What did Shen Xue do wrong?

She deserves it.

You too!

You never cared about Haoyang.

But you are the best friend for her.

Best friend?

I made friends with her just for Haoyang.

You crazy!

Crazy?

Yes, I am.

But better than you hypocritical people!

Director Cheng.

Come out.

Are you always ridden by nightmare?

Are you feel guilty?

Just go to hell to stay with Haoyang.

Don't move!

Cheng Zihao, I'll take you with me when I die.

Shut up!

Director Cheng.

Will anybody watch our drama?

Look at you!

What's the problem?
