It's almost like it's trying to, you know, make us all angry at each other. I

get flashes in my head of like, I want to punch somebody or something like

Ooh, bad thought, bad thought.

When and how does this guy get whacked? Gets in his El Camino and boom.

A man's voice said, I'm going to kill you.

His main goal was to turn you guys against each other.

I don't feel safe in this area.

They want the person dead.

My name is Amy Allen.

I see dead people. I saw Halloween creatures.

I speak to dead people, and they speak to me.

This person feels like a monster.

But there's only one way to know if my findings are real.

They're sucking the life out of these people.

I rely on my partner.

I'm Steve DeShop. I'm a retired New York City homicide detective.

So how many bodies are we talking?

And I know every person, every house has secrets.

It's my job to reveal them. But Steve and I never speak. We never communicate

during an investigation.

Or time to get out. It wants inside the house. Because it wants to kill you.

I'm out here in Shelby Township. It's a suburb about an

hour outside of Detroit.

I got a call from a desperate couple, Holly and Randy.

who sound like they're going through hell.

They tell me whatever's in the house is destroying their health and their

marriage. It's just been downward spiral.

Unbelievable things happen to me. We would love some help.

We don't know where to turn.

It sounds like things are really bad, and I'm hoping we can help them out.

Oh, boy.

I don't feel good. I don't feel safe in this area.

And I got scared.

I'm feeling sick. I'm feeling sick.

It's really bad.

I need to get out.

So, Holly, I got to tell you, driving through this beautiful neighborhood and

this gorgeous home, hard to believe that there's a problem here. But when you

and I spoke, you sounded pretty frightened.

What's going on here?

My family is being attacked, and I'm very worried about both my daughter's

safety. Okay, so let's start with the basics. Who actually lives here?

My daughter, Heather, she's 19.

My daughter, Audrey, she's 16.

Myself and my husband, Randy.

Okay. How long have you guys lived here?

21 years.

That's a long time. So why are you calling us now?

Things change?

Three years ago, things started happening.

So what do you think is the cause of the activity to spike like this?

I think it's tied to my youngest daughter, Audrey.

How so?

In 2018, she had a head injury, a concussion, severe concussion. What

She was practicing for track at school, and she fell.

Then activities started happening where she started seeing dead people.

How is she dealing with this? I mean, is she upset about it? Yes.

She cannot fall asleep. She feels like she has to protect us. Too much

responsibility for 16 -year -old number one. Absolutely.

Too much stress for her.

It's not a good situation.

Not at all.

Okay, Holly, if you can, do me a favor and give me a list of what kind of stuff

you guys are going through.

We're hearing voices.

We are experiencing sudden mood changes, unbelievable health issues, and now

it's getting physically violent.

So who has the most health issues?

At this point, me.

What's going on with you?

I've had 20 surgeries in 15 and a half years.

Are you in pain all the time?

Chronic pain.

What makes you think it's paranormal?

I've tried every procedure to relieve the pain, and it never works.

Now, you mentioned mood changes. What are we talking about?

I just, I get depressed and sad and don't want to do anything.

And Randy has fits of rage and anger and yells, and it's not like him. Is it

affecting your marriage at all?

It is.

It's almost like it's trying to, you know, make us all angry at each other.

What about Heather?

We have noticed changes in her behavior. You'll ask her a question, and she will

just start screaming at you.

She doesn't know where this anger is coming from, and she has become

My family has told me we all want to leave, but we're afraid whatever's here

So I'm hearing a woman crying a lot.

This is a living woman and a dead woman.

They're both crying and all depressed.

There's a link there.

So what kind of link is it they have?

She wants help.

The dead woman's trying to hold the living woman's hand and like putting all

that emotion on her.

So I think this living woman, she's having a lot of wicked depression.

So what's going on in here?

Okay.

Look down the hallway, something caught my eye, and probably a seven -foot -tall

shadow figure glided from Audrey's room to straight into Heather's room.

Any shape?

The top was more like a little bit of a round, maybe a hood.

Okay. But it came around like this. And bowed out? And bowed out. What do you

think is here?

This isn't human.

This isn't like a spirit. This is something, I think it's something evil

trying to hurt.

I'm afraid it's going to eventually, it will either destroy our family as a unit

or hurt one of my girls.

This male came in and he was extremely tall,

rail thin. He was wearing a black suit.

And he had a huge head, but it was a skull, like a

decomposing skull.

He is absolutely the problem here. The living here,

they're hearing a male voice.

I'd be very surprised if they can understand it.

So there's this dude that I was talking about, and he's spread out

like spread eagle on the ceiling above someone

here.

Very solid, I think, shadow person that they're seeing, and this person

is seeing this and freaking out.

And he's laughing.

So, Randy was talking to Holly earlier, and she was telling me about what you

guys got going on in this house, and it sounds like paranormal activity is off

the charts here. Do you agree with that?

Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's like it just keeps ramping up more and more.

So, what kind of experiences have you had?

I'll be down here in the basement. I'll feel like a presence is watching me.

Are you alone or is there somebody down here with you?

No, I'm down here by myself because I'm usually working on something.

Okay, what else?

I saw a shadow figure looking at me from the basement stairs.

So your wife mentioned the shadow figure she saw.

Was yours solid looking?

It was solid jet black.

I just froze there. Okay. I was just screaming, what is that?

So Randy, I got to tell you, I spoke to Holly and she's really concerned about

your marriage. I mean, you have concerns about that? Yeah, we've been fighting a

lot because...

My anger.

All right, is that your personality, and you've just been holding it back? No,

usually I'm easygoing. Nothing bothers me. But everything she says or something

will set me off, and I feel upset about it, and, you know, I just short.

You know, I get flashes in my head of, like, I want to punch somebody or

Got a lot on your plate.

Mm -hmm.

The dead male coming in.

The tall man.

Yeah, up, crawling around on a ceiling, reaching down.

And I feel a living male energy experiencing this.

And now I'm feeling the living female.

I'm seeing the tall dead man putting his hands inside their head.

What exactly is he doing when he puts his hands in heads? He's manipulating

them, controlling them.

Probably turning them against each other.

They're feeling hate.

Lots of anger here.

And it doesn't go away just because the dead dude went away, you see? Lots of

fighting going on.

He's with them pretty bad.

Okay, so Heather, I spoke with Mom and Dad today and they explained to me

going on here. It seems pretty intense.

Yeah, just like an overwhelming feeling of like dark sadness, anger, and then it

just fills you. The whole house feels dark.

So home's not a happy place like it should be? No, it's not. It's a sad,

place. Talking to Mom, she said you're having some anger issues.

Yeah. Definitely whatever is in this house is affecting me.

Okay, Heather, so tell me about your experiences.

I'm constantly having the feeling of being watched around the entire house.

You get a sense that you're being watched in a curious way or like a

It just feels like a negative energy that's always following you around

everywhere, especially the basement, which I no longer go down there anymore.

I've heard a man's voice at night, was about to go to sleep. I think it was

1230 at night.

I closed my eyes and I heard, what the hell?

It was right in my ear as if someone had, like, leaned over and whispered

in my ear. Right. So I had gotten up, turned on my light, opened my blinds. No

one was outside.

Was this voice threatening?

It almost seemed as if, like, the voice was implying that we were invading its

space. Okay. I wasn't happy in any way.

And it was a male's voice? Yeah, it was a male's voice, an older male.

Anything else?

Last night I saw a tall shadow figure standing over me.

My room. You worried about that?

Yeah. I don't really know what it's capable of, what it is, how far it'll

It's just an unsettling feeling.

Okay.

That tall dead guy likes to come in here.

So I think the living are seeing him.

Are they seeing what you described earlier?

Something very similar.

I'm not seeing him putting his hands in anybody's head, but he probably is.

So, Audrey, I was talking to Mom and Dad about stuff going on in this house, and

they're pretty concerned about you. Are you experiencing stuff every day?

Yeah, a lot of stuff happens in my bedroom back here.

Let's talk about some experiences.

I got whispered in my ear when I was in bed that I'm going to kill you.

Okay, so male, female?

Male.

Can you tell what kind of an age he might have been?

Kind of like your voice.

Okay. Like that around that age.

Not too old, not too young. Okay, so not a kid.

Yeah, not a kid. All right, anything else? I saw an apparition of an old lady

white. Okay, where do you see her? By the coat rack.

In the front hall here? Yeah.

Okay, did she ever say anything?

No. She just stares. She'll be there, and then she'll go away.

I've got to ask you a question. You're a teenager, right?

Yeah. Are you smoking anything while you're home?

So nothing's going on where you're maybe hallucinating? No.

Okay.

What else you got going on? I was paralyzed in my bed with fear.

I woke up, and then there was a shadow figure to the left of me.

Can you describe him? Just a tall man. He was all black.

Mom thinks you have abilities and you may be attracting some of the dead here.

Yeah. How do you feel about having these abilities?

I'm not a fan. I don't like having to steal his stuff, especially at 16.

It's a lot to take on.

What the f*** is happening?

I feel like blocked.

What kind of blocked do you mean? I think it's the living person, like

I don't feel safe in this area.

This tall dead guy keeps moving back and forth between all of the bedrooms.

There's physical interaction.

I did see one of his hands coming down and choking a living woman. So this

person's like hyperventilating.

And can't move.

Can't scream.

Nothing. Eyes wide open.

Oh, my God.

And he's laughing. He's laughing.

And then he puts the hand in the head.

And then it's, ooh,

bad thoughts, bad thoughts.

Wouldn't mind, you know, if she killed herself, though.

Because he would try to keep her here, you know.

He would.

So I made all my usual calls when I got to town, and I just heard back from a

genealogist who found something big.

Turns out the son of a previous owner of my client's land hung himself right on

the property.

I'm heading over to meet with her now to find out exactly what happened.

All right, so before we get to the suicide, what do we know about this

Well, the Pierce family was the first family to own your client's property.

Okay.

They purchased the property in 1837.

Alpheus Pierce is 27 years old. He's from upstate New York area, moved here,

married his wife, Adeline, who was also a New Yorker.

Why did he come here?

For farming. This area had just opened up. A lot of people were purchasing

property at the time. It pretty much looked a lot like what we see here.

Okay, so when they were on my client's land, did they come with children or did

they have kids once they get here? What's the story?

They definitely tried to have children, but were unable.

Okay, so the two of them are working this farm by themselves. I guess they've

got to hire people to help out?

They have servants. They have other people that we see show up on the census

records over time.

Okay. On the 1850 census, however, we actually see a child. He's 11 years old,

so he just kind of shows up. He just shows up?

His name was William Franklin Kelly.

They did call him Frank.

Okay, so he wasn't a Pierce.

He wasn't a peer. It's not biologically.

Did they ever wind up adopting him?

They did. We found records when he was 20 that they did legally adopt him.

All right, so when do things start to go downhill?

In January of 1879, Altheus dies of a long and painful illness in the family

home at the age of 66.

Okay, so what happens next?

Frank becomes overwhelmed with the responsibilities of the farm. He took

some loans, got in some financial trouble.

So I can see where this is going.

The pressure was too much.

Ultimately, one day, February 11th, 1895, he tells his wife that he's going

go out and get some firewood and that she won't see him again.

He hung himself with his horse reins from a tree on his property.

He was 56 when he died.

Here's an article about that.

So now we got poor Adeline who lost her adopted son to suicide. Her husband's

dead. She's stuck with the property and this guy's bills.

With all of the debt that he incurred, Adeline ultimately became responsible

that. And she's got to be elderly at this point, right? She is.

And she dies, actually, two years after Frank's suicide at the age of 86 of

pneumonia. So listening to this whole story from you, it kind of says to me

Adeline had a tough life.

I would say she did, yeah.

I'm in a kitchen.

And I'm watching a woman and she's cooking.

I think she was at the house where she lived here, yeah.

It's the same dead woman I saw earlier who was crying and depressed.

And I heard suicide.

They're showing me somebody hanging.

My neck hurts.

My old friend journalist Lou Hebert just called.

He did some digging and says there was a ruthless mafia boss who lived in the

area. And it turns out one of his likely victims lived right near Holly and

Randy's house.

Well, Lou, thanks for helping me out yet again on another case.

All right, so first off, who's this mafia boss?

Well, his name is Anthony Thomas.

Now, he's a career criminal.

And he first made headlines back in 1935.

That's when he was arrested for murder.

Okay, so now he's charged with one murder. He's only like 20 years old at

time. There's a picture of him right there.

All right, so he's already an animal at 20. Yeah, and so the judge gives him

life, but unfortunately, life meant only 18 years for him. And by 1954,

he's back out on the streets. He's released.

Is he reformed at this point, or is he back to what he's doing?

He picks up where he left off. He's running prostitutes, and he's into debt

collection. In fact, he gets the nickname Shrieky, and this is because of

sounds that were issued from the people that were on his collections list. Okay,

so this kid was no joke. No.

That tall dead guy is here.

There have been deaths, and then he pointed to himself, and he said,

Me, himself, and two others that he was not

specific about.

I just kept feeling like this guy might have caused more death

when he was alive.

He goes, I bet you would like to know who I am.

And then he just started laughing.

You mentioned on the phone that he killed someone near my client's house.

this guy?

The guy's name is Joseph Bozid. He's 47 years old. He runs a truck parts shop in

Shelby Township. Okay. Now, in the late 1960s, Anthony Shrieky Thomas starts

paying regular visits to Bozid. All right, so this guy Bozid's in bed with

mafia at this point.

When and how does this guy Bozid get back?

On the morning of December 6th, 1971,

Bozid is going to go to work just like normal.

Goes outside, gets in his El Camino, and boom.

It explodes when he turns on the ignition, and he dies right there in his

driveway. The wreckage was scattered for hundreds of feet.

The blast was reportedly heard as far as two miles away.

How far was this blast from my client's property?

Less than a mile.

And this was not some amateur job.

It had all the earmarks and characteristics of a professional hit.

So much so that the FBI gets involved in the case. They start, of course, honing

in on Shrieky Thomas, but they never can really quite develop the evidence they

need, so the case goes cold and is still cold to this day.

Now, whatever happened with Shrieky? He died here in Detroit at the age of 64.

I've heard a lot of wise guy nicknames growing up.

Shrieky is a really interesting nickname.

But people must have their pants when they saw this guy coming.

With a name like that, right? Yeah.

There's, like, a guy.

He's, like, on the ground.

Like, I don't know what the fuck happened to him, but he's, like, messed

something.

Maybe Italian -looking.

I'm getting pain, some pain. I'm getting some pain.

Is he dead?

Yeah. It was quick.

This guy knows who is attacking him, which now makes me suspect Tall, real

thin dude, of being the murderer.

Like, he's like, oh, God, help me get up. Oh, God, help me get up. Oh, help

help me, help me get up. Oh, God, oh, God.

Both Barb got a woman who's afraid her children and marriage are in danger on a

property where a man committed suicide.

But I want to see if there's anything else.

Searching through the archives, I find a deadly plane crash that happened close

to Randy and Holly's house.

So I reached out to a local historian who knows all about this story.

She says the reason the plane went down is a case of good intentions gone bad.

So, Karen, thanks for helping me out with this case.

I mean, it's a strange and a sad story at the same time.

Let's talk about the pilot. Who was he? So the victim was a young 22 -year -old

guy by the name of David Opie.

He lived with his parents here in Shelby Township, about 2 ,000 feet from the

house that you're looking into.

What else do we know about him? We have a mail carrier for the post office, and

he had a passion for flying. In fact, he just completed 27 hours of flight

school, and he was now allowed to fly solo.

All right, 27 hours. This kid's still a rookie. I mean, what happened?

So it was December 9, 1974, when David set off on his second solo flight, and

circled over the neighborhood.

He told his dad he was going to fly over the house and wave to him. And

unfortunately, this very special moment between these two turned out to be very

tragic. Do we know what went wrong?

David's father was standing in the yard watching the plane approach, and

witnesses said that the engine sputtered and died, and that's when the plane

started plummeting toward the earth.

Do we know what caused the accident?

David was just a novice pilot, and he was flying too low and too slow for

and he wasn't able to recover.

What a shame.

I couldn't imagine what this poor man must have went through. Someone had to

the nice thing for him, and then he had to watch him die.

Shame.

There's definitely a male down here.

The living would see him.

To me, he looks young, very dead looking.

What does that mean?

He's just like a blue -green.

He can't close his mouth anymore.

His eyes are like really sunken.

He doesn't have any eyeballs.

Looks like the 1970s or 1980s. Do you know how he died?

I think maybe he killed himself.

I saw several disturbing things on my walk, but the tall dead man tormenting

living in their bedroom concerns me the most.

What I saw was a male on the left side of the bed, and on the ceiling

you can see this cylinder with like a black... jacket on it, okay?

The legs. They're really thin, very dark black and round.

The head is gigantic.

It's a skull.

It was just staring down at this man.

Uh, so the torso's a little bit shorter than that.

Amy, is this what you saw?

Yes, that's what I thought.

Now that Amy and I have completed our investigations, we're ready to reveal

findings to each other.

And our clients for the first time.

So guys, I'd like you to meet Amy.

She'll be doing the reveal from one of your bedrooms so she can focus on your

case and the dead without any distractions.

Amy, meet Holly and her husband Randy.

They live here with their two daughters.

This is Audrey.

She's 16.

And next to her is Heather, who's 19.

They believe that whatever's here is ripping their family apart.

And if we can't find them a solution tonight, they're not sure they're going

make it.

Amy may have some questions for you. If not, she'll tell us about her walk.

The first thing I saw was a deceased woman.

She indicated that she was a housewife.

Then I heard her crying.

I could feel her depression.

I heard the word suicide around her.

And then she did show me someone hanging.

The thing that really worries me about her is that she has connected.

with a female in this house.

The way she's doing this is she's holding that female's hand and linking

her.

Because of that, this female could be suffering from severe depression and

suicidal thoughts.

Amy, you should know everyone in the house is feeling depressed.

Okay. Yeah, I'm usually a very energetic person, but when I'm here, very sad.

Anything with Heather, she gets bouts of depression where I'm fearful.

She's who I saw holding hands with this dead woman.

She's a psychic empath, so she's going to feel everything.

And I think that's why this dead woman kind of went on to her because she wants

to purge that pain from her soul.

So that's a big problem.

And worried about her.

Yeah.

I'm worried about somebody taking control of her.

You said a depressed housewife, right? Suicide and somebody hanging.

So I think I know who you might be talking about. Now, a woman named

Pierce used to live here.

Her husband, Alpheus, bought this property for farming back in 1837.

During her time on the property, Adeline experienced a lot of tragedy.

For starters, she and Alpheus weren't able to have children of their own.

Now the two of them eventually ended up adopting a son, a kid who went by the

name of Frank.

Things went pretty well until Alpheus died in 1879.

Frank took over running the farm, but unfortunately he wasn't up to the job.

in 1895, he was so deep in debt and got so depressed about it, he found the tree

on the property and he hung himself.

So now Adeline must have been devastated, but it got worse.

Two years later, she died brokenhearted on the property.

At the age of 86.

Oh, interesting.

Okay, what else?

When I went into the first bedroom on the left.

And that's Audrey's room. Okay. What I found in there was that it was

energetically locked.

And I do believe this is coming from the living person, unintentionally.

Probably for protection's sake, they've just put out this...

impenetrable bubble in their room so nothing can get in. I couldn't get a

These guys think Audrey has abilities and might be attracting a lot of the

paranormal activity in the house.

She has told me she can see them all day long.

You think she has abilities though, Audrey? Yeah.

She's a physical medium.

The reason why you think Audrey all of a sudden started really having abilities.

Tell Amy what happened.

Audrey was at track, and she was running. She fell, and she hit her head

became unconscious.

After that, she would come to me on a regular basis, and she said, I see dead

people. Do you think that injury had something to do with her abilities

out? It's a big possibility. Trauma can do sudden awakenings, yeah.

She has visions that I will not be alive when she graduates next year.

And with two thick surgeries this year, I'm sure it would scare her.

She's been sick a lot in 21 surgeries.

What? It's just not normal what happens to me.

There's a reason for your health problems, and it's that you have

You're a psychic empath, healer.

So healers very much take on everybody's emotions, can experience pain and

pleasure from others, you know, all of these kind of things on an energetic

level. It scares me.

What else, Amy?

The biggest issue here is this male that I encountered.

To me, he was very threatening. You guys would hear this guy because he does

talk a lot.

So can you tell Amy what Heather heard in her ear?

It's the man screamed in her ear, what the hell.

And the same thing happened to Audrey, but something else was said, right?

Yes, there was something in her room and a man's voice said, I'm going to kill

you.

All right, so do you get any sense of who this dead tall guy was when he was

alive? I think this guy was violent.

he kept telling me he had never killed anyone uh personally i don't believe him

i saw a male who was lying out on the ground in the garage

he died a pretty dang painful death he had like kind of crazy

dark hair pretty thick kind of looked italian i'd put him maybe in his 40s

Might be a long shot, but something came up in my research.

Naval's a mafia hitman by the name of Anthony Creaky Thomas.

Now, when he was 20 years old in 1935, he got convicted of murder.

Now, for some reason, he only wound up doing 18 years.

But he gets out and picks up right where he left off. He got back into loan

sharking, prostitution.

Now, it's possible one of his victims was a 47 -year -old guy by the name of

Joseph Bozide, a local mechanic.

Now, he had a successful truck parts business here in Shelby Township.

Shrieky made regular visits there. I'm guessing Bozide had a chop shop.

Ah. Somehow the relationship turned sour.

On December 6, 1971, Bozide got into his car, turned on the switch to

turn the car on, and boom, he gets blown up. Oh, wow. Okay.

This happened less than a mile from here.

Now, the detectives did zero in on Shrieky, but there wasn't enough

charge him. The case remains cold to this day.

Now, I managed to track down a picture of the victim, Joe Bozide.

This is the victim.

This part is very similar to me.

Do you think that the tall guy that's here was the one that killed him?

Highly likely, it might be him.

So, how would the living see this tall killer?

The living here would see him as a shadow -type figure up on their

Now, everybody in the house has seen shadow figures. When I spoke to Audrey,

saw a couple of them.

Holly, you saw them too.

Yeah. Yeah, tell Amy.

I saw something come out from Audrey's room, and I looked. It was probably

seven or eight feet tall, and it glided into Heather's room.

Now, you saw something by the staircase here. Yeah, it came out of the bedroom,

and there was a head and shoulders.

When I saw it, it shot back down the stairs, and I just stood there froze.

I saw him putting his hand into the living's head.

He's manipulating them, controlling them, probably turning them against each

other. They're feeling hate.

Lots of anger here.

So I saw him doing that to the male.

And I actually did have a sketch done of what I saw.

That might explain some things.

Yeah.

It's not easy to look at, is it?

I get angry a lot.

I can't even talk to him anymore.

He gets angry at everything.

It's not him.

He's still the man that I married.

But somebody's taking over him.

You guys feel like your marriage is going to pop because of all this?

So, Amy, Randy's not the only one suffering from mood swings.

Tell her about Heather. It's like she's possessed.

She just...

Turns into rage.

She will yell and just whatever she can do to just hurt me to the core.

How do you say those things to your mom if you love her?

That's hard for a mother to hear.

Of course it is.

Don't know how to protect them from the pain that they're feeling.

So now, Amy, is all the fighting in the house from that guy?

I think that's him.

Yeah.

His main goal was to turn you guys against each other.

I can't fight him because I can't see him and I can't do anything to him.

I don't know how to deal with this.

Listen, you guys are a great family.

It pisses me off that this Paul killer guy is trying to rip you guys apart.

Now we're going to find out if we can fix things. And if so, what's it going

take to do that?

For that answer, I'm going to turn it over to Amy.

There's going to be a few things that obviously need to be done.

First, there will be a female sensitive and a male medium who will come.

The female sensitive will sit down and talk to each of the girls individually.

Then she will cut cords on them or any attachments that they may

have with any of the dead.

And while she's doing that, the male medium will begin to move on the
