Get ready for a night of jaw -dropping illusions and unbelievable feats. Our

magicians have honed their skills to perfection, and they are ready to leave

you... Hey, Dean. And Alonzo, ladies and gentlemen. Hello.

I was just opening up the show. I see that, but I wanted to be one of the

to congratulate you on another season of Masters of Illusion. Outstanding.

Thank you, thank you. Well, I brought some champagne and a couple glasses.

The big one's mine.

So, all you have to do is to focus all of your superpowers on

that champagne bottle.

Anytime. I have to focus? Please.

Okay.

I'm focusing really hard.

Are you ready for the

Well, these two performers will take you on a wild and dangerous journey that

you won't soon forget.

Now, we don't pick favorites around here, but if there was one magician that

could grab a drink with, of course it would have to be the always enchanting

Lucy Darling.

Stupid.

Stupid.

You know what? People are always asking me how a lady such as myself could have

ever gotten tangled up in magic.

Every time they ask.

Well, since you're so interested, I will tell you. You see, I was just a very

small child when magic first found me.

I remember I was running about and I had encountered this wise old wizard.

And he said to me, he would grant me anything my heart desired.

And on that beautiful summer day, all I could think about was dessert. So I

asked for anything.

Ice cream? An ice cream? Yes, that's exactly right. Good guess. Whoa.

I ran home that very night to begin my life of conjuring. Although, you see...

We had very little in the way of wands and rabbits lying about my house, so I

had to improvise.

And there were always two things you could guarantee would be sitting at my

dining room table as a child, and they were whiskey bottles and empty glasses.

Now, another drink, and I'll be under the table, so we shall pretend this iced

tea is whiskey, okay? Just like when I was a child and I pretended the whiskey

was iced tea.

Eventually, I discovered my actual power was in the area of time travel and time

management.

But there is a small problem, you see.

How can you observe time travel? How could you see it?

How could you convince even the skeptics?

I have it sorted. All you have to do is memorize the location of two objects.

Bottom glass.

Then we switch their positions, making them opposite to where they were just

moments ago. Now, should we step back in time even 30 seconds? You could see it.

They return to their right places.

Do you believe me?

All right, about 12 % of the audience.

Well, I did say this was for the sceptics.

Of course, we cannot leave them that way. No, we must return them to their

place and time, here with us, in the room.

And you will be even more amazed to find that both the tubes have remained

completely and utterly empty.

That was not supposed to happen.

Although I suppose I'd always rather have an extra bottle in front of me

of a frontal lobotomy.

Oh, look, it's finished.

Whoa.

No, you're right.

The truth is, I'm a lady, and a real lady's never really lost, is she? She

um, changes where it is she wants to go.

So this time, you shall see the bar in the glass. We're back in time.

30 seconds.

And be even more amazed to find that although one tube is completely and

empty, the other tube now contains... yet another bottle.

With a little dedication and

a lot of practice, one can separate the two moments. So, for one second, I

believe you'll see both the bottle in the future and the bottle in the past.

I'll do it again. Oh, my goodness, this is bananas over here. This is the monkey

business that's going on.

Now

I know

what you're thinking at this point. You're thinking it's the whiskey

But whiskey can't talk, mister.

And you know what my grandmother always used to say to me?

Bottles on the table can be cracked.

So tonight, let's just use the glass.

Now, if nothing less is due, two more bottles of Malibu. And if that drink is

not your taste, well, I brought absinthe just in case. And of course, when it's

up to me, it's always whiskey and never tea.

You remember when I had a bottle glass?

And I covered them up.

And I turned them into ice cream.

Ooh.

I mean, come on. If I could really make ice cream appear on this table right

now, I'd be a full -fledged wizard like that old man of many years ago.

Tatiana, everybody in this theater, everybody watching at home, what I need

to do is think of a playing card. You can think of any playing card you want,

not a joker, but any other card.

Everybody got a card? Good.

Now, Tatiana, I want you to see that these cards are really shuffled, right?

values, the suits, all mixed up.

Yes. But you're being very polite. Mixed up by me.

I need you to mix them up so that you know that they are mixed. Go ahead, give

them a shuffle.

Oh, total pro.

I didn't realize.

And give them a cut.

Great. Now, this is a blindfold.

I'm going to find everybody's card blindfolded. So I need you to hold this

your eyes. Make sure you can't see it in the light. Make sure that you can't see

the cards, that that blindfold is totally legit.

Look okay?

Yes. Good.

And hold them up to the card.

Look good?

Great. Now, If I were to find everybody's card with a different trick,

would take all day. If I were to do it for everybody at home, it would take all

year. So instead, I'm going to find every card in the deck. That's every

card in this deck of cards that you just shuffled.

Now, Tatiana, are these cards face up or face down?

Face down. Face down. Okay, so here's the idea.

I'm going to find every card that you could possibly have thought of. If you

thought of the Ace of Hearts, for example, this is your card.

And of course, what makes this hard is that I'm doing it by feel. So I go to

32nd card down. I hope that that's the Two of Hearts.

Now, I'm going by feel here, and I'm trying to feel for the three and the

of hearts at the same time. Should be something like this. That's the three,

that's the four of hearts.

The five and the six of hearts should be the 16, 18, 22.

That's the five. That's the six of hearts.

I'll try and find the 7. That's 13, 8, 9, 6, and 2. That is the 7.

I'm getting the wrong color. Is that the problem?

That's a little better.

The 7 of hearts.

That's the 8 of hearts. If you thought of the 8 of hearts, that one's for you.

If you thought of the 9 or the 10 or the jack.

These should be three cuts, the nine, the ten, the jack of hearts, the nine,

ten, the jack of hearts.

If you thought of the queen of hearts, that's a popular card that's 18th down

from the top of the deck. That should be the queen of hearts.

And if you thought of the king of hearts, your king of hearts is right

your king of hearts.

But of course...

This whole time you shuffled the deck and I shuffled the deck, I wasn't just

finding the heart, because many of you thought of a different card than the

heart. That's why I found the ace of spades, then the two, then the three,

five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, queen, king, the eight, two,

four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, queen, king of diamonds, all

the clubs. That really is every card in the deck.
