Hello everyone, I'm Dean Cain and welcome to Masters of Illusion. Now you

think that after hosting this show for several years that I've picked up some

magic. Well, I'm happy to tell you, I have not.

I have no idea. I'm as baffled as anyone.

That's why they are the masters, and I'm just the host. Literally, that's why

they're the... Hey, dude, hey, dude, hey, dude. Hi.

Anna de Guzman, ladies and gentlemen. Hi.

I actually need something very magical, because we are on Masters of Illusion,

so I need a magical device. Do you have your magical device, your phone?

I have my phone. Yeah, can I borrow it?

Yes. Yes. Are you nervous? Yes. Is there anything in here I can't show everybody

right now? Yes.

Okay, don't worry. I won't do anything like that. I'll show you a very simple

magic trick. Do you all see the light?

Perfect. Watch this.

And that's still your phone, right? It's still my phone. It is. Okay, I got to

I'm going to show you a life hack. If I can borrow a phone charger cord, if

anyone has a charger, that would be awesome.

I don't know if anyone carries those.

Oh, do you have one? Cool. Can I borrow it? What is your name?

Awesome. I'm going to show you a little life hack using a phone cord.

Now, a lot of people don't know, but these get moisture in them, and they

working as fast.

And I'm going to show you how to get that moisture out.

All you do is you cut it like so, and the moisture actually leaves the cord.

Okay,

I don't see it leaving. Okay, hold on.

Cut it down like so. So more moisture will leave. Okay. I don't see any

moisture.

Okay. Well, let's say that the moisture left. I think it did. And after the

moisture leaves the cord, then you just use the heat from your fingers to seal

it back into one cord. And it is good as new.

Now, Gabby, I'm going to deal off the cards one by one. Whenever you want, say

stop.

Are you happy with this card or do you want to go one more?

Let's go one more. Let's go one more. Sure. So this one. Yes. This is our

card. So, Gabby, take a look at it, remember it, and show everyone else.

Okay. Cool. In a moment, I'm going to use... a magic wand to help me find the

card, okay? So Gabby, let me give these cards a couple extra mixes just to be

safe. So Gabby, my magic wand looks a little different than what you're used

seeing.

And it has also come to mean the third eye, how we access our intuition.

Kayla. So I'm going to have you write down a goal that you want for your life,

something that you want to manifest. I'm going to turn away.

Now this can be something very abstract, like a promotion, or it can be

something very tangible, like a new car.

Kayla, do you have it written down?

Yes. Okay, you can set the pen down.

I'd like you to fold the paper in half with the writing on the inside.

All right, and fold it in half again.

And fold it in half again.

We don't want anyone to see what you've written.

Now hold your hands palm up with the paper in one of them, and are you right

left -handed?

Right. Okay, we're going to need to see your non -dominant hand, and hold it

tight. All right, now, Kayla, I am going to draw the

eye of horror, which is going to be a physical representation.

of my intuition, so that I will be able to divine your desire.

All right, I'm going to fold it up just like you did.

And then, I'm going to supercharge it on my

third eye.

Now, Kayla, I'd like you to hold on to this as well. And what I'm going to have

you do is mix them up, your intention and the eye of Horace.

You can go ahead and stop.

And what I'd like you to do is visualize your goal.

Now, I'm seeing a lot of green.

At first, I think this green means money because I think it means a great deal

of promotions.

I think it means a great deal of climbing up the ladder in your career.

I see green in beautiful landscaping because I'm

seeing a big, like, palatial house of sorts. But this house, this

mansion, is not just anywhere.

I'm seeing palm trees.

I'm seeing plumeria.

And I'm seeing...

lots of tropical fruit.

Kayla, your goal is to have success in your career and

live in a beautiful house in a tropical city.

Yes? Yeah. Open it up. Show them.

Kayla, hold on to these and put them somewhere where you can see them every

so that your dream can manifest. And always trust your intuition.

about card tricks and wipe the slate clean.

Ladies and gentlemen, Farrell Dillon.

Hey, everybody. Thank you for being here.

Right on stage, we have a volunteer from the audience. This is Jessica. Jessica,

I'm going to show you.

My favorite type of magic. This is close -up magic. It's the first type of magic

that I learned how to do. We're going to start with a card trick. Go ahead,

reach inside, and grab out any card you want. Look at it. Don't let me see it,

but hold it steady for the camera to get a good look at it.

All right, now, Jessica, here's what's going to happen, all right? Don't forget

the card, okay? Because if you forget it, this trick's stupid.

I drop the cards from one hand to the other. You say, stop for me somewhere in

the middle. Go ahead.

Stop. Perfect. Put your card back right there.

Look, it goes in the middle.

All right, now watch. All I have to do, Jessica, is snap my fingers.

When I do, one card jumps from the middle to the top.

Your card.

No, no, no.

Obviously, this is a stupid trick.

All right, so look, I'm going to make this better for you, okay, Jessica?

here, I have a Sharpie marker.

Do me a favor. Take this marker. Write your name or some sort of symbol on the

face of the card for me, please.

A cat.

Oh, good. All right.

You drew a cat, and you drew it upside down. That is amazing.

That is an adorable little kitty cat.

We've got to rub on it, make sure the ink doesn't come off. Otherwise, that

wouldn't be fair. It's on there for good, right? Yeah. Good. Oh, good. You

showed them your finger to make sure there was no ink on it. But watch your

kitty cat, all right?

Watch. It goes from the top, look, into the middle.

Just a snap, your kitty cat jumps back up to the top.

Yeah. I know, it's a little bit better when you can tell the cards apart.

Do you want to know how it works, Jessica? Yeah. You want to know? Yeah.

Really?

Yeah, you can touch it again.

See, you just got to rub on it the right way. See, look, if I rub on it like

this, look, I can actually pull that ink off of the card.

Look, I'll put it on my sleeve. Don't worry, it's black on black, so now you

can't see it. But look, now I've got no ink here, right? I've got no ink here,

but if I take this card and rub it over my sleeve, look, the ink comes back off

onto the card.

All right.

Jessica, one more time, but this time I'm going to take your card, put it here

on the floor, and I'm going to sign a card, too.

Now, my name's Daryl, Jessica, so normally when I sign cards, it looks

this.

Jessica, do you know what that says?

It actually says, ah!

Because it's got an exclamation mark, and that's what makes this exciting.

Okay.

It says, ah!

Okay, I guess you're not a fan of punctuation humor. That's okay.

So, look.

Jessica, we've got the, ah! F card.

And your kitty cat card, right? F.

Kitty cat. F.

Kitty cat card. F.

Look, you get what I'm saying, right? Look, there's a card with an F on it.

There's a kitty cat card. Put your hand out like this. And look, I'm going to

put the F card on your hand on top of that. The kitty cat card, put your other

hand on top of those.

All right, now Jessica, get ready.

Did you feel it?

Yeah. Really?

Yeah. Oh, nobody ever felt it before. This could be the best day of my life.

Here, lift up your hand.

Jessica, look, you'll find that nothing really has changed. Look, the F card is

still there on your hand. But, Jessica, I have a question for you. Have you ever

disappeared? Me? Yeah.

No. No. Oh. I hope not.

Well, there's a first time for everything. Look, your writing has

disappeared from the card.

But there's a rule in magic that says when you disappear, you have to go

somewhere. And now if you look, one and the same is my card.

And your card.

Oh.

And look.

Take that card. Make sure it is just one card, not two cards glued together or

anything like that. And you can keep that as a little souvenir. Everybody
