Hello, I'm Dean Cain, and welcome to Masters of Illusion. Now, have you ever

seen a rainbow after a storm? A bird?

hatch from an egg, or a plant sprout from a seed.

These things are all things that seem magical, but of course, they actually

occur in nature all the time.

But the things you're about to see on this stage definitely do not happen in

nature.

Ever.

Right now, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, Farrell Dillon, who

apparently has something he'd like to share with us.

Hey, Dean. How are you, Farrell? I'm good, thank you.

Look, Dean, I've got a card here. I want you to think of a card, any card. Do

you have it in mind?

Yes, I do. You do? Okay. Oh, wait, what was that? Oh, I'm sorry. Look, we don't

have time for that, so I guess we just have to go to the show.

Inside this bag, I have what's known as a balloon animal. I took a straight

balloon. I twisted it up into an animal. I want you to hold this in front of you

because inside there is this balloon animal. I cannot change it. Once it's in

there, I cannot change your choice because, Ashley, I have here a bunch of

cards, and I'm going to go through these cards, and I want you to look at each

name, each type of animal. You've got the bunny rabbit, a dog, a mouse, the

horse, or the swan. Which one do you select?

Ashley, I cannot open that up. I want you to just reach inside there and just

Guys, thank you so much. We've got another volunteer from the audience.

your name? Harry. Harry, good to meet you. I'm Eric. This is a trick with a

of cards, but I need to make a commitment, a prediction to make sure

everything goes the way I want. You'll notice that inside of this little

envelope, I've got a single playing card. I'm going to leave this here.

Out of my reach, but in plain sight so that you and everyone else can keep

eye on it.

This is a piece of magic that uses three black kings.

You see, I've got the king of clubs, the king of spades, and, well, me.

I'm going to leave those here for just a moment. What I'd love you to do is

reach in and take out any card out of the pack that you want.

Take a look at it, and if you like it, keep it. If you don't like it, you can

change your mind.

Are you happy with that one?

Perfect.

Awesome. Now, what I'd love you to do, it doesn't matter if I see it, I just

wanted you to be happy with it. I'd like you to take this marking pen and sign

your name in big bold letters right along the top edge of that card.
