But in real life, the possibilities are very limited, right?

Don't be so sure.

I didn't always know that I was going to be a magician. No, I thought I was

going to be a musician.

Let me rephrase. I was told I was going to be a musician.

Anyone feeling my pain? Yeah.

Parents told me when I was a young kid that I was going to take music lessons.

Anyways, I got to play a lot of instruments, and I realized that

them can be a little bit of a pain. So, using some magic, I learned the best way

to travel with instruments.

I created this. Check it out.

Boom. Instant instrument.

Whoa, isn't that cool?

So here's the deal. What I did is I actually made a list of about 20

instruments that I can play. That's right. I've played them or I've

play them at one point in my life. So I need someone from our live audience to

help me out right now.

Hi, what is your name?

Heather. Heather, here's the deal. I've got 20 instruments. It goes from

xylophone to weird things like a triangle and a flute.

What I need you to do is just quickly close your eyes, okay?

I'm hoping you don't have a photographic memory. What I want you to do is think

of a number, any number between 1 and 20, okay?

As soon as you have one, just say it out loud.

18. 18.

Perfect. Let's see what it is that we've got here at number 18.

Guitar.

Ooh, I love that. That's cool. That was always a tricky one to travel with. They

don't let you bring it on planes very easily.

Using a little bit of magic, this is what I discovered I could do.

Number 18 is a guitar.

Boom! Just like that, we've got here an electric guitar. That's right, an

electric guitar appearing flat out of nowhere. Oh, hello.

Up next is a great example of a magician making the impossible seem really

impossible.

But you'll see it right before your very eyes.

What is up, you guys? So I have a random member of the audience here with me

tonight. This is CJ, right, CJ?

CJ. CJ, you're the man. I'm going to try something with your cell phone. Can I

borrow your cell phone? That is perfect. So CJ, here's the deal.

We're going to do this with, I'm going to try and find your flashlight here on

the phone.

Find your flashlight. There we go. Check this out, CJ.

Now, would you actually film this with my phone here? All you have to do is hit

should be in my pocket where I left mine.

I'll secure it, okay? I'll make sure nothing happens to it this time. We'll

The thimble trick is so fast, the thimble will jump from the first finger

second finger, and you can't see it go. Watch how fast. First to second.

That's pretty fast.

It's almost as fast as the ring fit. You know the one.

I pretend to take the ring off of my finger and squeeze it in this hand.

Actually, it never left my finger.

When I try from one finger, it goes to my second, so I try from two. That's

it goes to my third. Then I try from all my fingers.

That's when I get it, but that's only sometimes.

See, sometimes.

When I'm in church, I let the symbol represent a person. In this hand, the

devil. And the devil tries to get the person, but he can't get him. That's

because this person believes in the power of God, and that leaves the devil

behind the eight ball.

Yes, I do. Well, I love games, too, and I love to make stuff, and I combined

making stuff and games.

When I was in school, I was in woodshop, and we had to do a...

project for like a final project and where a lot of people made like chairs

tables for home. I went through a book and I found this. It's a game.

It's a game using pieces of playing cards and like three quarter inch wooden

dowel. And the idea was you cut 15 squares.

Okay. And then you glue playing card pieces to it.

And then you have a playing card picked.

And if you pick something like the four clubs, You would have to put the four

clubs into the corners. You dump all the pieces out.

And you have to put all the white spaces in and all the club parts in.

And it was 15 points a turn.

And you would go to like 100 points person to person to 100 points. And you

only that amount of time to put the pieces together.

It was a fun game.

And I made it. I got an A on the project.

But my siblings don't like to play this game with me.

They say that I cheat.

I don't think I cheat. I just think I'm better at it than them.

Well, let's find out if you cheat.

turn the timer over, it was already done.

channels deceased people, for your entertainment pleasure.

Okay, so Lydia, we are not only going to get your dream. Yep.

but we're also going to tell you a dream you will have in the future.

The other day, I was going through my parents' attic where they had

kept some of my favorite childhood keepsakes.

And they even put them in a special box.

Could you help me?

Hi, how are you?

What is your name?

I'm Noma.

Noma, what a beautiful name.

Noma, wait right there.

You know, Noma, when I was seven years old, I went to a pottery store that my

mother took me to where you could do some painting.

And guess what I did?

Well, I was a magic fan even back then.

Oh, magic!

You see, I painted some little plates with bunnies.

That's the magician.

His lovely assistant.

And with the crown, that's their manager.

Know me, here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to blindfold myself.

And after I've done that, I want you to walk over, pick up one of the plates,

and then walk forward. And display it to the audience as though you were a

showperson on a game show. Really ham it up. The crowd will go nuts.

And then, carefully, take the plate and put it back on the stand in the same

place. I'm going to try and figure out which one that you selected.

Anytime you're ready.
