Hello everybody, good evening and welcome to Masters of Illusion.

I'm Dean Payne. Now, we live in a world of reality.

So if you witness something that turns your reality upside down, well, it would

be no less than completely astonishing.

So are you ready to be astonished?

This is a cat looking for a mouse. Our artist is making it pretty obvious that

there are plenty of mice all over because every single one of these is a

Ah, curiosity will not kill this cat.

But tonight, our masters of illusion will try to toy with your minds and your

curious brain.

I always get asked, how do they do it? And as many times as I hang around

backstage, I can never figure it out. So I guess it really is the magician's

creed. What you're about to see right now is totally impossible.

And I guess I'm just going to have to stop asking. Just watch Tommy Wind.

on Masters of Illusion, I wanted to do something exciting, and that's what this

next one is. Ladies and gentlemen, on stage, there's nothing above us except

the ceiling, nothing below us except for the solid stage. We have these four

stanchions in just a second. We're going to do something really cool with those

four stanchions. Ladies, I'm going to need some help with this one.

All right.

Now, don't look away, even for a second, because this one's quick.

How's it going?

Now, this is an idea for a trick I had, and you're actually one of the first

audiences anywhere in the world to see this. I thought of it on the way here. I

need someone to help me out. What's your name right here?

Sono. Would you come up here? You all give Sono a big round of applause.

I will stand right here.

No, no.

I want you to try and guess what's in the bag. You can bend it. You can whack

it. You can smush it. You can smell it.

You can lick it. I would not advise that. You just can't open it.

Lick it.

Do you have a guess?

Biscuits. Biscuits.

Take a peek at what's in there.

Yeah, grab a handful. Take them out.

Tell everyone what you have. You have?

Biscuits. Oh, you have to categorize them. There's a shark.

There's a dog.

There's a horse.

And then what I did is I made flashcards that match them all. So we have horse.

We have dog.

We have frog.

We have cow.

So what's going to happen, you are going to pick one of the flashcards. Let me

drop these back in the bag.

Go for it. Remember what's on it. Do not let me see it. Do not let anyone else

see it. Got it?

Perfect.

I'm going to ask you some questions. Based on your answers to the questions,

going to try and guess what animal you picked. And then I'm going to reach into

the bag. Based on feel alone, I'm going to bring out the toy that matches yours.

All right? You ready? So no.

Does this animal live on the land?

Yes.

Does it have a tail?

Yes. Yes.

Would you eat this animal?

No.

This animal, is it cute?

Yeah.

Yeah? All right.

Oh, wait, it's got a long tail.

Yeah. It's small.

Yeah. I think I know what it is. Tell everyone what animal you got.

Rat? That's exactly what I have.

You want to give him a pet?

This is Oreo.

He's what's called a rusty rat. I had rusty from the alley out back.

But you were amazing. You all give Sono a big round of applause and Oreo.

I'm sure that you have heard about optical illusion.

Let me show you an optical illusion.

It looks like the pins are in between each other, isn't it? But in fact, it

isn't. What a marvelous trick!

But if you just give the impression, sometimes the pin can pretend to be

inside of one another. But in fact, it's only an illusion.

This is the optical illusion.

What? Okay, again.

Only for you because you look very... What?

But sometimes they are really... Yeah, they are really linked.

But this is only an illusion. I told you because they are very separate.

If you want to be sure that they are linked, you need to do that. No, no, no

stress.

And now you can see that it's really inside one another. Really? But if you

close it... Oops, I can't close it. Now if you rub...

Time long, all day long. But if you just rub.
