Well, it's not just a fence, but a wall of graceful statues.

You can see them, but they're not really there.

So ask yourself as you watch tonight, can you actually see what is not there,

is it just another illusion?

Now, a beloved Las Vegas star puts his assistant through an impossible

experience. We know she's there, but where?

We can only watch and wonder.

How are you guys doing?

I love doing puzzles as a magician, because I know all of you, you know,

our job, to fool you. So I need to put people around this next trick I'm going

to do. I need two people to come out of the audience.

And let me have a look.

Let me see. Let me see. You want to come and help me, sir?

Come on up. Give us that big round of applause.

Let me have a look.

Music right there, sir. Yes. Come on up. Big hand for these guys.

Do you have that phone? Do you have a phone?

Do you have a phone? I have a phone.

You hang on to that, all right? I'm going to need it in just a second, all

right? So what's your name?

Sov. Sov. Big hand for Sov, everybody.

Your name?

Jamie. Sob and Jamie.

They're the eyes and ears for you guys because you're here. I need them behind

here. So here's your deal.

You're going to stand right here.

Look at the audience. Sob, you're right here.

Yeah, keep going. Moonwalk it. Moonwalk it. That's what I'm talking about. Look

at you. Go. Nice. You're going to stand right there. Now, you're back here. You

can see everything that happens here. All right? If you see anything wrong or

something that's not right, you let them know. Fair enough?

All right. Here we go. Let's do this.

Does anybody in the audience have a dollar bill?

Because Michael Grandinetti is going to need it.

So right now I want to show you a brand new close -up illusion.

But to do that, I'm going to need your help.

Does anybody down there have a dollar bill I could borrow? I promise you'll

it back.

Who has a dollar?

And you have a purse as well? Yeah. Bring that up here. Give her a hand as

joins us.

Thank you for coming up here. Thank you.

Stand right here if you don't mind.

Okay. What was your name?

Jennifer. Jennifer and Michael, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you.

Now, hold on to this dollar bill for one second. I'm going to trade you the

dollar bill for your purse. Okay.

Now, I'm going to hang the purse right here where we can all keep an eye on it,

and it keeps it safe.

Now watch.

Everybody watch Jennifer's dollar bill.

Jennifer, just so you trust me, I'm going to give you a receipt.

That's for you. Hold on to that.

Now, everybody watch the rest of the bill very, very closely.

Okay? The bill goes down inside my fist, just like this. I'm going to squeeze it

tight. Jennifer, hold that corner on the palm of your hand and squeeze it tight.

Now watch, everyone.

She has the corner. I have the bill.

We're going to send that bill on an amazing ride.

Watch, Jennifer.

And it's gone.

Now, Jennifer, your purse is safe, right? There's no holes. It's completely

solid.

I don't want to touch anything.

Watch. I'm just going to take the purse off the stand.

I want you to reach inside and grab the first thing that comes to your hand.

Take out your water.

And hold that bottle up to the lights and the camera and see if anything looks

familiar inside.

It looks like there's actually a dollar bill inside that water bottle. And it's

sealed in there, right?

Okay. I want to show you something even more unusual. Watch, everyone.

We're going to get that bill out for you.

Thanks, Robin.

And it's very securely in there.

But if you look, you'll see that there's actually a corner missing.

Do me a favor. Jennifer, read the serial numbers. Read the serial numbers off

the top of that corner.

E925726. Okay, and read them off the bill.

Read it right there.

And check to see if that corner fits.

Does that corner fit?

It does. Give Jennifer a very big hand.

Jennifer, you have a souvenir. I hope you'll smile every time you look at it.

One more hand for Jennifer, please.

You know what, I want to have some fun right now. I need someone from the

audience to join me on stage. Let's see, I need a lovely lady.

How about a big hand for her to make her way on stage?

Hi, Greg. What's your name?

Tessa. Tessa. Nice to meet you. Where are you from, Tessa? I'm from Virginia.

Virginia. Tessa from Virginia, ladies and gentlemen.

All right.

Go ahead and have a seat. Let's hear it. Make yourself comfortable.

Perfect. I'm going to sit down right next to you.

Now, you are actually going to be the magician.

Okay? You'll be the magician, and I'll be your assistant.

And my assistant, Erica, is on her way out right now, and she's got some cue

cards. But she also has a microphone, so that's for you.

Now, all you have to do is read your lines off the cue card that Erica holds.

And then when you see that line, that means stop.

So are you ready? Are you guys ready? See, Tessa, do a trick.

All right, Tessa, let's do it.

Do you have a deck of cards?

A deck of cards.

I bet I do. I just happen to have a deck of cards.

Imagine that.

Great. Take the cards out of the box. I'll take the cards out of the box.

I think that's all of them. Okay. Now examine the cards and make sure it is an

ordinary deck. Make sure it is an ordinary deck.

Okay. Is it ordinary? Yep. It's okay. It's okay.

Pick any card. Pick any card? Yes.

Okay. Don't look.

Okay, I got one.

So you won't forget it. Sign your name across the front of the card. Let me

that. Don't look.

Okay, I've signed it.

All right, now show the card to the audience.

Close your eyes.

Don't look.

There's my card.

Okay, you can open your eyes.

Now place the card on top of the deck and cut the card.

Okay.

Wave your hand over the cards and say the magic word, oh, baby.

Oh, baby.

Oh, baby, baby.

Oh, baby, baby.

Believe it or not, your card has now vanished.

Really?

Really, it has.

Check the deck. Okay, let me check the deck.

That is amazing. My card is gone.

Well, do you have any idea where it might be?

I have no idea. Where is it?

I'm sitting on it.

Is that?

Is that it?

Wait. That's my card.

That's my signature.

Are you ready to meet one of America's great mind readers?

Well, this feat seldom comes out the way he planned it.

He's the unpredictable The Shocker.

Tonight, the shocker is going to try to read the minds of some of the members of

the audience here.

Now, normally when I do this, I have a tag team partner.

Unfortunately, he could not be here tonight.

But I did bring his mask along with me.

What I'm going to do is I'm going to toss this mask out in the audience.

Somebody's going to catch it.

They're going to put the mask on their head. I'm going to then ask them a

question. I'm going to try to get that answer from their mind. I'm going to

write down the answer I get, and we're going to see how our predictions match

by the end. I want to toss it out to somebody completely random.

Look how random that was.

You, sir, go ahead. Put the mask on your head.

I am going to ask you a question, and you're going to send me the answer using

the power of your mind.

I want you to think.

of the name of a woman that is important in your life.

But I don't want it to be your mom or your sister.

Because I want it to be one I don't know.

Shocker!

Do you have the name?

Send it to me.

Oh, pretty name.

I'm going to write down the name that I have gotten from you.

And I'm going to lock it in.

Just like that. That is now locked in.

For the first time, out loud, what is the name of the woman that you are

Take the mask off.

I want you to toss it to a young lady in the audience, one you don't know.

Right there. Perfect.

Go ahead. Put the mask on.

That's a good look for you.

Look at that.

I want you to think of your favorite thing to do with a man.

There are kids in the audience.

Keep it PG.

You have your favorite thing to do.

Send it to me.

Ooh, I like that.

I'm going to write down what I think.

Perfect. I have written down my prediction. I am going to lock it in to

number two. Just like that.

Locked into place for the first time. What is your favorite thing to do with a

Now for the final prediction.

Since this is a magic show, I have to do a card trick. So I'm going to have

somebody take a card. This gentleman right here.

Come on up. Reach in.

Take out a card. Don't show me. Don't show anybody. Bring it back to your seat

with you.

I am going to write down the name of the card I believe you just took.

And I am going to lock it into envelope number three.

Feel it up.

There we go. Lock into place for the first time.

The end might suck.

We'll get there in a minute, though. Let's see how we did. First, we went

to this guy here. We had him think.

We wrote it down. We locked it into envelope number one. He said the woman's

Shannon.

And I wrote down the name.

Shannon!

And the audience starts chanting my name.

Shocker!

Shocker! Shocker!

Shocker! I like that.

Then, we went.

This young lady right here, after her favorite thing to do with a man, she

the freestyle rap, locked her answer into envelope number two.

And I wrote down that she liked to rap!

And they kept my name even louder!

And then, we went to

this guy.

Yeah, uh, picked a card, locked it into envelope number three, you picked the

three of clubs, and I wrote down that you picked the eight of diamonds.

Three of clubs, I wrote down eight of diamonds, so what if instead I just

picked the prediction?

Come on, it's the card you picked!
