Well, first impressions are not always the final truth.

Did you see the cats?

We know the brain allows us to be deceived, even when we expect it, even

know it's about to happen. But how?

Well, believe the impossible.

Now watch closely this deck of invisible cards.

How do you tell them apart?

Only Bill Cook knows.

Wow.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome. My name is Bill Cook. I come to

you all the way from Chicago.

And for this trick, I do need the assistance of somebody.

You would be perfect. What is your name?

Claire. Claire? Would you join me on stage? Give it up for Claire, ladies and

gentlemen.

Thank you, Claire. Thank you for coming up all the way this way.

Turn and face your fans. Give it up for Claire.

Claire, I have a weird question for you, and it's okay if you say no, you do

not. Do you know what this is? It's okay to say you do not.

No, I don't. No. This is the top of a change. Anybody change?

I don't carry a purse.

Claire, inside the holder is something very special to my job.

An invisible deck of playing cards. Pull out your hand, flat like a table. I'm

going to give you those, Claire. In a deck of cards, there are four suits.

The spades, the diamonds, the clubs, and the hearts. We need to whittle this

deck down to one suit. I'd like you to name a suit. Spades, diamonds, clubs, or

hearts. Clubs.

Clubs. We'll give it to everything but the clubs. Sir, in the front row in the

coat. Catch.

Souvenir!

He looks so...

Now, Claire, that leaves us with the clubs. I will take those. You hold on to

that. Claire, I'd like you to pick a club, any club. Take it. Show it to

everybody.

It's backwards, sweetie. Turn it around. There you go.

It's the lights. This happens.

Which club is that? 8, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack Queens. The Seven of

Clubs. Make sure everyone sees the Seven of Clubs.

What are you laughing at?

Fold it into quarters.

Yep. And place it inside of the holder.

Now, I'm going to trade you. Hold out your hand like that. You hold onto that.

want to ask you something very bizarre.

Do you know what this is?

I do not. No, me either, but here's a whole flock of them.

Doesn't matter. Okay, fine.

Here's the thing about these holders.

The cool thing about these holders is that whatever goes inside of them, as

invisible, Claire, comes out of the holder as visible.

Now, that would be cool if it was any club, but you said the seven of clubs?

That makes it pretty amazing.

The seven of clubs.

You know, the best way to watch a magic show isn't to try and figure it all out,

but instead just sit back, relax, and kind of like when you're watching a good

movie, just let go and believe, even if it's just for a few minutes.

Well, right now we're going to put all of your beliefs to the test. We call

illusion the body eraser.

It's a very simple setup. It's just a rectangular box elevated above the stage

on a very thin platform.

Now, you guys can see under it.

and you can see around it at all times.

Now, it's my job to try and amaze you.

It's your job to try and believe.

All right.

Now, believe it or not, I'm actually going to try and make my own two feet

disappear.

Watch. We'll start with my right foot.

You're very kind.

Well, try my left foot.

Okay, I'm sensing some skeptics out there.

What if we took it one step further?

And what if I tried to make both feet disappear?

Next, the amazing card wizardry of Adam Wiley.

What you're about to see is not easily describable. You'll understand what I

mean in just a moment. It's Adam Wiley.

Hi, Sarah. It's very nice to meet you. Sarah, I want you to just think of a

card. It could be any card you want, any random card.

Sarah's a very quick thinker.

Here we go. I'm going to go through the deck.

When you see your card, I just want you to go ahead and take it out. Okay. And

Go ahead, take that out.

Perfect. In a completely shuffled deck of cards. Have you ever noticed that

you lose a card, like when you're playing cards, you lose one, it makes

angry, but also the deck can't be shuffled anymore.

You've noticed that, right?

I'm not the only one?

I guess. Well, since that card is out of the deck, this deck also can't be

shuffled anymore. They separate out so that half of them are now black.

And half of them are red. I know it's very weird.

It's a very strange thing.

Even if I were to cut the deck, Sarah, see that? That's a real cut.

And I were to shuffle. Now you can see the interlacing, yeah? And you can hear

them shuffling.

Right? Yeah. But nothing happens, Sarah.

Because your card,

It's gone.

Let's try something. Go ahead and put your card back.

Go ahead.

Anywhere? Anywhere you'd like.

Perfect. And just because your card is back, the deck can now shuffle.

And it does.

I'll prove it.

There it is.

Shuffle.

And now here's something that will leave you scratching your head.

each hand.

I'd like you to pick either this half or this half.

Whichever one you pick, that's the one we're going to use on the board, okay?

How cool is that? That allows you to go anywhere you want within three feet of
