- The inspiration for Lisa's character

started from the movie "Little Monsters"

with Fred Savage.

- We got very excited about the idea of, like,

a kids-friendly monster.

- Yeah.

There's just something so funny

about Lisa playing a grandmother

in the last season

and then just turning full-on yellow monster.

(Spencer growling)

(crew laughing)

- Got you.

(upbeat music)

- We decided to use different animal pieces,

and we ended up going with a pig nose

and then we moved forward with wanting some teeth.

Can you open your mouth?

- You're kidding.

- [Alex] Ah, a little bit water.

- Oh, my...

What the fuck?

- We wanted them sharp,

but not yellowed and distressed

because they're always creepy and scary,

and we wanted them just to be very beautifully white.

So again, we brought in Jason, who's brilliant,

who's done teeth both seasons for us.

Our talent was coming from out of the country

and he made those teeth happen in 48 hours.

He cast her, sculpted them,

got them ready for us and delivered them.

They were ready by the skin on our teeth,

you know? (Tamar laughing)

- Expensive smiling.

- That's really cute. (chuckles)

(upbeat music)

- We had been doing all of these foam builds.

And for this one we got very lucky

that there are actually really awesome mascot costumes.

- But what the hell kind a mascot looks...

Have you ever seen a school do this?

(crew laughing)

- [Tamar] So we took the head of the mascot,

we cut out the face.

The body of the mascot was just yellow.

And Vanessa added the purple polka dots.

And then from there,

you and Vanessa worked to make sure

that the face would blend

with the helmet, essentially.

- [Alex] Correct.

- Hey!

Wee!

(crew laughing)

- She had deconstructed some of the hardened shell

from inside the helmet out

so that it was loose fur

that could sit almost like a lion's mane

around the face and frame it.

And I feel like we achieved a fun look

in such a short amount of time.

- I'm shy.

Spank me.

(upbeat music)

- Lisa, season one,

was in our chair for a long time

because it takes time to age someone

and to add all those details.

But with this,

we really only had a paint job and one prosthetic

and the rest was costuming.

I think she didn't feel

like she was gonna be transformed a ton.

And then when she got to set,

she was even- - Oh, she was blown away.

- [Alex] More transformed than the year prior there.

- There. - What the hell?

You guys are sick. - And then there we go.

- [Lisa] What is this?

It's, feels like a memory foam mattress.

- I don't think she had any idea.

What's great about these looks,

the ones that we are making up,

they're not real things.

You couldn't ever guess what it was.

- What is it? (laughs)

My face looks like it's from hell.

(crew laughing)

- Vic and I had come up with this whole backstory

on what was happening Host Vic's life off screen

and how that affects Host Vic's performance on screen.

- I love it Here.

No, this is, this is better, actually.

No, this is like-

(both screaming)

Okay, no.

- What Lisa ended up with was the devil's baby,

and she was sent to Kill Vic

because everyone in Vic's life wanted them dead.

We knew very quickly, with Lisa,

that she was gonna be the finale

because of where the story was going.

- This is supposed to scare me into, like,

being like a better person or something like that?

That's funny, that's funny,

'cause you're all here because of me.

And you're actually not gonna be here that much longer

because guess what?

Guess what?

I'm getting another job.
